A Dacha outside of Moscow
The Presidential Dacha was alive with military activity as the Russian Rocket Forces intercepted a message to the American THOR system.
The Russian President looked at the radar feed from the command center that was secure.
"Sir?" asked the general at the Russian leader."
"Yes general?"The Russian President asked the Cammander of Russian Rocket Forces to Explain the sudden intrusion into his daily schedule.
It was a long briefing. The general told the President of Russia that his people in Kamchatka intercepted a code to the Hero THOR satellite.
He hated the THOR it was like Damocles over his head. The Russian President had not to worry like his American counterpart about re-elections, he won his in 2018. Now the US President will panic and rescind the government support of the group.
"Will the device be in range of our special weapon if the device threatens Russian territory?"
"Our massive Kamchatka Laser? Yes. The Satellite will be destroyed if one millimeter of Russian Territory is harmed sir. And if that device is destroyed secondary device at Kola will be activated."
"Good, because if the Americans and the heroes don't leak the fact a weapons satellite went rouge we will."
White House
"How in the hell did they loose control of that satellite!" Screamed the President. She was livid with her cabinet officers in Washington.
"You idiots must want a Reese administration! I am going against that Texan ass and he would love nothing more than shutting down all the Hero operations in this country." The PResident sat down hard in her chair.
"God you asses are like retarded monkeys! I should fire the lot of you!"
LA Area
The Hero Chiller was busy in Southwest LA. She was chilling a gang for their recent shooting of another member but more importantly a dead little girl. There was Gang Bangers frozen in various positions all over the house. One was frozen to the ceiling another was stuck to a wall upside down.
Chiller walked up to the gang's leader Pablo.
"Pablo, Pablo, Pablo. Why can't your people not just target the fuckers you want to kill and just kill them?" Her eye watered briefly. "But instead your people, your people killed Juanita Diaz, a three year old girl." Pablo begged in Spanish. "But I won't kill you." Chiller said as she froze Pablo in a massive block of ice.
As Chiller swaggered away she turned her comms back on after her little tiff.

Currently, the Reformists are still fighting the Underground movement's forces except now there's a hydra and their big hitters are all pre-occupied with fighting or finding other stuff. Although Insomnium the shadowy death dealer guy is there, so it should be fine
Isabella, the leader of the underground movement went to check on Tree Baby Jesus' mom and Alto is coming after her with a (maybe) unsuspecting Ruby
Ruby's bodyguard Harper got tazed back at Ruby's cell and Camille who considers boss lady like her mom is probably going to mug him soon if he doesn't wake up
Elijah the fire guy and Nate the currently misc guy are going to go see Olivia, the one who got shot and started this whole thing, in the reformists HQ to see how she's going
Kuro, the reality haxing alternate personality of the innocent-ish child who got experimented on Jackson, is sitting back eating chips or something, similar to what Isaac/meta amoral doctor frankenstein is doing now except Kuro is mostly pranking and Isaac is mostly killing people while leaning back in an arm chair

Mountain Lion was never really a fan of flying, being in an airplane was too cramped and prohibited his ability to move around. For the entire trip he felt unnerved and almost skittish, he wanted out of the plane and his claws would instinctively come out and scratch the arm of his seat. He was very pleased when the trip was finally over and he didn't have to stay in that terrible vehicle any longer.
The trip on the ground was much for exciting for John since it was filled with far more dangers and felt himself becoming eager to fight. Once at the border of Jordan and Syria, the person driving them informed them that from there would lie nothing but danger for them and asked if they had any second thoughts. Mountain Lion smiled and almost laughed at the question.
"I would be bored if there wasn't any danger" he replied and then looked at Adam to see if his partner had any second thoughts.
"I've been in plenty of dangerous situations and I have come out of all of them alive. I have duty to the peace and sanctity of my country to do this mission, but thanks for your concerns" Adam said as he looked over the border and into Syria. The two of them began to walk into Syrian territory.
Deep into Syria they crossed. It was until twenty miles into the nation they were able to steal a vehicle. It was a 1970's BMW.
Town after town they passed through until they reached a road block.
The road block was manned by men on technicals. They swiveled the Russian made 14.5 millimeter machine gun towards the little BMW.
They commanded the driver to get out of the vehicle. The men suspected something and readied their weapons.
They were suspecting rebel activity against the Islamic State.
Also the fact there was a VIP nearby in the village.
