Mighty Morphin Power Rangers-Redux

"Jennifer" Jennifer began raising her hand "All I really have to say on this is if these weapons do exist let's do it. I don't know about any of you but I'm sick of tired of living in fear, going days without food and water and wondering if the creature coming round the corner is going to be the one that finishes me off. Before I was brought here I was seriously wondering what the point of living was, but Zordon, Alpha 5 if you truly can give us these weapons I will happily use them to finally make a difference in this world. I seriously hope everyone else here feels the same way."

Barbara rolled her eyes and muttered "Odin's beard" as she noticed Tommy's wink. Despite the speedters flirtations she had little interest in him in that fashion but was grateful that he had finally arrived and they could now hopefully discover why they were meeting at this restaurant. Taking another bite of food she turned to him and said.

"I am unaware as to why we have we have been gathered here young Tommy" she began "But if you wink at me in that fashion ever again then you and Dragonfane will have a very close encounter. Now if you will all excuse me I must change."

Making her way to the bathroom she made sure it was clear before removing her hairclip and felt the familiar rush as her clothing was replaced with her armour. Sheathing her sword she made her way back to the teams table and sat down.

Jennifer was searching through an old building hoping to find her family some food and some kindling for a fire. Sitting on a damaged wall she sighed and was openly wondering whether there was any point going on. Then in a flash of light she found herself in a different building, getting up she looked around and took in the lights and the computers and finally the robot which left her shocked.

"What the hell is this place and how did I get here?" she wondered out loud.

Barbara was a mixture of nerves and excitement on the subway. Ever since encountering the Dark Elves in the museum she had been wanting to do more and this team was her chance. As the train neared her station she decided to get off and walk the last few blocks in order to gather her thoughts before the teams latest get together. Climbing the stairs and onto the streets of New York she found herself thinking about Dragonfane and the team. Since being reunited with her sword and regaining her powers and memories she had sworn to herself to prove to Odin that she had changed for the better and the team gave her that chance.

The team itself she found interesting, they were quickly becoming the family she had missed since being banished from Asgard. Looking up she saw the Baxter Building and smiled wondering what Frank and Valeria were getting up to prior to their scheduled dinner date. After double checking the restaurant address on her phone she made her way there and quickly spotted Billy engrossed a comic book and enjoying a large drink of Mountain Dew. Entering the restaurant she made her way to his table and ordering some food and drink bent over to grab a book from his bag. Sitting down and opening the book she asked him

"Any good?"

Full name: Barbara Norris Alias: Valkyrie Age: 17 Power: Superhuman strength, stamina, and durability. Slowed aging Skills: Trained Swordswoman Appearance: Costume: Brief Bio: Barbara was adopted at a young age by a couple of archaeologists, who found her abandoned near one of their dig sites. From then on she had a very typical childhood living with her parents while accompanying them on the occasional dig. It was a couple of years ago that everything changed for Barbara. She came home from school to find her house ransacked and a note from her parents telling her to go to there office. Arriving there Barbara found her parents being held hostage and two large creatures asking them about a sword. Following her parents and the creatures Barbara realised the sword they were talking about was on display in a museum exhibit and ran ahead to get there ahead of the creatures and her parents. Reaching it's display case she smashed it with a nearby fire extinguisher and grabbed it's hilt, it was then she felt a surge of power and was enveloped in a bright light. As she transformed a flood of memories hit her, she was the Valkyrie an asgardian warrior and the creatures which held her parents were Dark Elves seeking her sword Dragonfane. As she stood and took in her armour for the first time in years the elves arrived, threw her parent aside and attacked. After dispatching both Elves, Barbara shifted back and ran to check on her parents, her sword now a particularly large hair clip. As they came round Barbara thought of why Odin had sent her to Earth and swore to prove to him that she had changed.
