Appearance
Charlie is a tall, rather heavy set young woman, whose stature of 5'11 still continues to increase with age. She's one to make full use of her height, carrying herself with a rigid posture that accentuates her confidence and youthful arrogance. Her pale blonde hair is cut to her ears, and her honey brown eyes are known to show small glints of her sly and cunning nature.
Biography
With the blood of former military soldiers pumping through her veins, it would certainly become Charlie's destiny to follow in the footsteps of the family members that came before her. Being the only daughter to a retired Garrison member, Charlie's fate was decided once her birth had been declared successful. From childhood her mother wanted to ensure that her daughter was to undergo training as a recruit once she was of appropriate age, following a strict tradition that had ran on for centuries ever since the first establishment of a military force within the walls. Having been subjected to many of her mother's ramblings concerning such topics at such a young age, Charlie's ideological influences were made very clear.
Despite living her childhood in relative normality, there was little Charlie remembers being content with as a young girl. Her father, a moderately popular baker in the neighbourhood, was one of the few things that kept her living the rest of her childhood in misery and annoyance. She found peace with the humble man, spending most of her days helping him in the bakery in order to avoid every possible interaction with her mother. As a result, her body grew strong and healthy as she learned to endure the hard labour that came with kneading dough continuously for hours and hauling sacks of ingredients into the kitchen at the break of dawn. Any sort of freedom from the intense personality of her former soldier of a mother was loved and appreciated, but the late veteran's influence only grew larger as Charlie stepped into the early ages of adolescence.
Although her mother's disciplinary actions never took a physical turn for the worst, she intended for her harsh words to strengthen Charlie's mind and spirit as preparation for the military life she planned to compel her to. But having her mother constantly breathing down her neck about fulfilling her duties as a protector of the walls did little to strengthen the familial bond they were supposed to have, and Charlie simply grew more sour and cynical with age in this already difficult period of her life. Barely scraping the age of fourteen, Charlie wanted nothing more than to escape her tense home atmosphere; she began to think of joining the recruits simply on that basis, even if she would have to tolerate the even more difficult military lifestyle. If it meant she could block out her mother from her life entirely, Charlie would take any opportunity to go against her mother's intentions. There was something in the back of her head that wanted just a little bit more in life; something that wanted change.
But the fall of the walls her mother had once so ambitiously defended was not the change Charlie was expecting.

Personality
First impressions of Charlie often paint her to be nothing more than a level headed yet carefree individual that enjoys a good chat from time to time. But amongst the cadets of her age she has become infamous as the often flippant girl who speaks with an iconic presumptuous attitude. Blunt, confrontational and sarcastic to a fault, Charlie possesses an audacious and twisted sense of humour that revels in the act of riling up and teasing people for her own amusement. The girl certainly comes off as distastefully playful and obnoxiously difficult to irritate — seeing as she's the one usually doing the irritating — yet the calm confidence she carries herself with despite having such a bold way with her words is somehow intriguing enough to keep people entertained in the long run.
But it is Charlie's extroverted and mischievous front that hides the results of a strict and severe upbringing; rather than her mother's harsh words becoming a fuel for Charlie to achieve greater things, the girl has been left noticeably unmotivated to reach her full potential as a way of going against her mother's desires. She has yet to find a point in trying her actual best in the military other than to be freed from the restrictive grips of her mother and thus her performance in most activities is often regarded as painfully average. Charlie has a lot going for her; both daring and unflappable in nature, she's not one to succumb to pressure easily or make illogical decisions in hasty situations, but it seems like she uses it all for the wrong and needless reasons. Her strengths that shine in certain areas are but a mere glint within the shadows of her unenthusiastic nature. While she certainly doesn't lack confidence and even cooperation, Charlie just views taking up big responsibilities and positions of leadership as too much of a bother. The girl is simply a spawn of wasted potential in the eyes of her superiors.
