Kiku

The purple themed Kunoichi was amidst her own thoughts. Following her teammates along, but also moving through the place in her own head. Clicking as they walked, sending out more and more waves that were reverberating off of each other and continuously feeding back. They followed the rails, only to lightly come back to her - it meant the room was getting vast as they walked on. She moved both daggers to one hand, as Kurin handed her something. Kiku lifted one side of her mask up, staring at the contraption she'd only handled a few times before "What..?" The less than technologically advanced Kunoichi stared peculiarly at the device. Jumping at the sound of Shizuka throwing his, she grumbled at his move and proceeded to attach the device to the top of her boot and continue moving forward. As they continued on, she made a click again when the room opened up, this one louder than before as she could tell it opened up upon the sound of their footsteps not coming back to her as quickly, or at all. She heard her blonde haired teammates comment, and nodded in agreement. She this time put her hands towards the statue and let out a snap, ringing a little louder than her tongue would. Thankfully, she had inscribed the signs and such from earlier to her short term memory, and it was fairly easy to decipher as she pulled from there.

"Fan'shuo. Blessed with infinite resources and life.
Our founders, the rejected, reveled in the Phonzite. And the world grew to envy them and their focus.
The Winds and Earth would come to regret their transgressions.
We of Fan'Shuo are proud, but not foolish as they were. We shall bless them as we were blessed.
For we fear the Worm."

She said, and crossed her arms - the chains clashing against each other as she moved her hands under herself. A click hit her ears, the sound of something shutting. Her head scanning the room, as if she was looking through her mask. Then turned it back to the rest of the inscriptions.

"To the Uncertain and Distressed
Activate the Switch
And Remember your Focus"

Her attention changed to her teammates, noticing a shift in the atmosphere in the room. Between her roommates, and the start of the hourglass. "What?!" She exclaimed, and then looked from Kurin to Shizuka, seeing a slight power struggle. Both having their own ideas, she kept silent for the moment. "What if that switch lets out that worm?" This was more of a mutter to herself as she assessed the situation. "How about you're defense in case of a worm or anything for that matter, Jaakuna" motioning to the vast cavern they were in, "It seems we have enough air now for fire, I'll listen as Shizuka said, Kurin you ready yourself to stabilize the platform as Shizuka said, and Shizuka you hit the switch and we all gather around you in case of a possible rock collapse". She pointed up to the roof, hearing the cracks spread through upon the hourglass flipping. Alerting her teammates to that now impending threat, in case they hadn't noticed. She bent down, and set her daggers down, placing her palms down sending chakra to them - "This place is moving as that hourglass does, and hitting the switch can go a number of ways...I think that covers all perameters,". She stated firmly, also deciding she was taking the median path between the two's ideas and collaborating them. Even if they ignored her idea, she was going to continue listening to the room move - it was really all she could hear at the moment.

Kiku

Thankfully, when they were teleported into the room, Kiku had had her mask on. The full white would've disoriented the poor girl, she instead was sending chakra to all her other senses and assessing the situation based off of her teammates emotions. Hearing the wall open, and her teammates move forward - she let out a softer click and it lightly painted a watercoloured picture of the small hallway. Allowing everyone to go in front of her so she could listen for their footsteps, and just follow suit.

She heard Shizuka's comment about writing down the runes, but of course this girl heard everything - she just lifted up her mask on one side and made a mental note. Her memory was pretty decent, especially from mapping out rooms and really navigating based through memory until she used echolocation again to remap the world in real time. It was interesting living the life of a semi-blind ninja, especially one who forced herself to fight blindly in some small attempt to probably feel adequate enough, or something else subconsciously. Anyways, she had been studying the signs, and then noticed she was alone momentarily as the rest of the group moved forward "What!?" She jumped and quickly jogged forward, proceeding to act as if she didn't just get left behind.

Upon entering the room, this is where Kiku had felt her brightest, when she was on the floor examining it - she could feel the metal make the tiniest sounds. A small squeak escaped her mouth as she was now almost floating the air watching the platform descend quickly under her. No worries, her butt firmly planted on back to the metal platform as they still soared down. Her wildly long purple hair was waving furiously as they continued to soar down. She was sitting with her legs bent and out to the side, her hands planted in front of her on the ground listening for a change. She felt and heard Kurin hit the floor with her, and the Jakuuna as well. Her teammates emotions were all different at the moment, calm, irritated, surprised. She herself was becoming more tense, a small sense of anxiety washed over her at the realization that this was truly the beginning of her exam now.

Her head popped up as if looking at Shizuka, her mask still on, she felt his energy again. This time he wasn't as abrasive, but a different kind of persona was about him. Kiku unsure of exactly what he was doing so close. She gave a small smile, but her lips then pursed upon her given nickname. Kiku then looked back down to the ground, bringing a thumb up to her mask, the second it slid under the material light filled her view and slightly startled her. Her hand immediately withdrawn its move, and went back down to the ground. Her nostrils suddenly filled with a smell that triggered a memory from her visit to Suna. Simple delivery mission from the Academy, nothing notable. But the smell nonetheless stuck itself to that memory firmly.

She sat there on the ground, giving off a few soft clicks and her world painted around her again after they stopped moving. But it wasn't very detailed. The room was so vast that the sound wasn't fully coming back to her, she hadn't really encountered this problem too many times. Upon this moment of realization, and irritation - Shizuka showed himself again, placing himself next to the girl as her fingertips were studying the etchings on the contraption that sent her on her ass. "Here let me try" She raised an eyebrow under her mask, and suddenly her hair was flying straight up in the air again. She almost thought they had fallen again, and this time was rocked back by a force of air. As she fell back, her dress happened to lift and she quickly grabbed at it pushing it back down and sitting on her knees - hiking the dress down farther. Again, her face swelled with red - but it quickly subsided as the room became vastly alive. She thought she'd have to cover her ears for a moment at how loud the sound echoing back to her was. She raised up, still on her knees and smiled, "Whoah," everything was so vastly detailed. Every sound wave had made it ways back to her ears, completely painting the room she was in. She reached over and grabbed the boys arm, "Thank you," giving a small squeeze to his forearm. Suddenly, her hand retracted and she stood up quickly - staring in a particular direction.

Kiku began walking away from her team, she made a quick hand sign "Kusarijutsu," she mumbled - extending her hands outward palms facing the ground and fingers outstretched. Two identical daggers rose from the ground, and long chains followed suit. Kiku turned her face back to her teammates, her demeanor had changed - a small hot faint wind blew lifting her hair slowly. "There's...beings..though I don't believe they're alive. I cannot myself sense any chakra," She looked to Kurin, and then towards the directions of the beings, "Can you? I believe they're just....statues maybe...." Going on her own intuition, she began to slowly walk in that direction, the chains of her daggers dragging on the ground behind her. Kiku stopped for a moment, her head turning around as she navigated the room painted in her mind. Shizuka's sonic wave had perfectly detailed this room for her, she could easily lift her mask and see it for herself - but this gave it a new depth. The falling ruins, and dusted symbols intrigued her greatly. She waited on her team to assess her question about the statue's by mentally examining the room herself, standing perfectly still as she moved in her mind.

She could hear the others moving forward, and stayed in her spot. Something was bothering her, and it was probably the rather large golem that was standing beyond all the smaller ones she was apprehensive about. Her face was in the direction of the rather large being, studying the area around it. It hit her like Shizuka's gust of air."Wait!" Kiku called out, and raised one of the daggers tips to the Golem's lifted arm, "Look...." Her hand lowered, the sound of the chain readjusting on the ground, "It's arm is raised". Her tone had become more serious, and she was far more short - now entering her logical phase as she usually did during missions.

@Reflection@Syn
@Seraphicide Done, and thank you.
I took away all of her sensing jutstu's and ish too. She'll just have heightened natural senses to go ahead and reduce the number of sensors we have.

Kiku

Her ears picked up Kurin's light words about the tower mission, she snapped her fingers and nodded - "You're right," Kiku agreed and smiled slamming a fist into her other hand. An "ah-hah" moment, "I knew there was somewhere else I knew you from". As her mind wandered back to the successful mission, she felt Shizuka's presence coming towards her again. Readying herself for another face to face - he clearly was the kind that had no boundaries. Her head turned slightly as he began to speak, her mouth slightly dropping at what came out next.

She may of well have fallen, except on her face this time with his comment. 'Cloudy Eyes,' she felt herself mentally sink into a hole. Kiku had completely accepted the fact that in close to 11 years she'd be 100% blind, but the occasional comment towards her eyes made her apprehensive to ever showing her face in public again. Her face, that was revealed, twisted into a look of smelling something sour. In her mind she sulked away to a corner, trying to figure how to recover from the assumed jab at her eyes. In reality the girl just shook the boys hand, her body tense - not sure of its next move. An exasperated sigh left her mouth, but her mood slowly shifted positively as she noticed how genuine the exuberant boy was being. Since her world was currently enwrapped in darkness, all her other senses heightened to notice the positive mood of the Shinobi - not feeling any negativity radiate from him. Her face flushed again, and she leaned forward towards him this time "Because you're just..it's just...you...I...." She stumbled over her words, and then let out a distressed sigh, shaking her head. "I wasn't expecting you to get so close.....and I don't think I can exactly teach you this..." She turned her face away from his, leaning back and standing tall trying to combat the red that this boy was instilling in her face.

Kiku wasn't even sure if he was trying to compliment her, or be rude with a backhanded compliment. But his comment about looking at clouds all day left her wondering. Suddenly, her composure changed from stiff and crossed arm to holding her stomach and letting out a pretty nice sized laugh. "Fight crime?" She laughed again, and smirked at him. She hadn't encountered a personality as diverse as his, and was now coming to terms with the fact that the boy possibly meant no harm. "Maybe I can show you sometime...." She clicked her tongue, and pointed at her mouth, "Echolocation. Like a bat". Her hands moved out to the sides, and she made little wing like motions. Kiku decided to play it out, and feel Shizuka out - his personality was one she hadn't encountered before and he seemed to be a sincere boy. Her attention then turned back to Kurin as he began to speak of the 4th member, she nodded in conjunction with his choice. Familiar with this boy as well, this would be an interesting team. Kiku opened her mouth to say something, but it was then that Shinko appeared, and they disappeared.

The Challenge

Her confidence soared, upon their entrance to the room, Kiku smiled - her hands on her hips in a prideful pose. The darkness, her old friend, one she had been slow-dancing with since she was 8 years old. Her mask was still on her face, but she had pulled it down momentarily to asses the start of their exam. She quickly let out a few clicks, and sauntered forward raising her head towards the roof - she was stiff for a moment letting all the echo's bounce and come back to her. The room began to take shape in her head, "It's not a very big room," She noted, and turned her head as if she was looking around "But this is weird...". Bending down towards the floor, her mane flowed over her body and piled onto the floor - she rapped her knuckles against the structure they were standing on. The sound rang in her ears, and clearly it was not earth, the sound that came back earlier from her clicks caught her attention. Kiku turned her head to Kurin, hearing her name and nodded "Gotcha". Her hand was still on the floor as her fingers grazed the lines. Kurin seemed to be taking on the role as squad leader, and Kiku was completely fine with this - she let out another click this time to readjust the mental map of the room as Kurin had changed its already painted image in her head with his trees and limbs. "Anyone else sensing anything?".

Kiku

Kiku took a few steps away from the Uchiha boys, and sighed. Weighing the options of joining a team or not bothered the girl, she was familiar with everyone who was from the Konoha Academy. But, the idea of going up to and asking anyone sent a wave of anxiety through her. Kiku brought a hand to her face, raising one side of her mask to stare at the masses. Though she could use echolocation to see the world around her, it wasn't enough to detail a face. Everything was more like a shadowy outline, black and gray, pretty bland. She looked around at all the different groups noting some already forming, and frowned. The Hokage did say anyone.... Staring at the ninja around her, examining the students from Iwa, all of them very interesting to her. Maybe it'd be better to team with another village since she was familiar with the students and what they were capable of, she'd have a slight upper hand in what to expect. But then again, the thought of going up to any of those complete strangers really made anxious. She dropped her mask and sighed, rubbing her temples - cursing herself for not being a bit forthright when it came to meeting new people.

Well, the worse anyone could say is no....she convinced herself, and began to mindlessly move through the crowd. As she let out a click to navigate through the flowing crowd, a figure stepped right in her pathway. A familiar voice she had heard earlier came from the body in front her - strudel boy. He was rather exuberant, sensing his particularly good mood - and he was also getting very very close, especially to her face. The Kunoichi leaned back as the boy leaned towards her face, her cheeks tinged with pink at the unexpected break in her personal space. He had gotten so close she could now smell the strudel on his breath. Kiku lost her balance and reached out in reflex to break her descent onto her ass, her hands reaching out of reflex for something to grab. It happened to be Shizuka's track suit - she felt him start to fall with her but he caught his footing and leaned back. Almost falling into him as she rocked forward back onto her feet. Kiku quickly let go of his suit and hopped back, letting out a breath of relief. The lavender haired Kunoichi crossed her arms, and pursed her lips as her cheeks began to turn red. "Hey! I'm not going deaf, you don't have to get so close...." She stuck a thumb under the right side of her mask - raising it high enough to reveal one powdered lavender eyeball.

"I taught myself how to fight with it on," Her one eye moved from Shizuka's face to Kurin's, and realized she recognized them from the Academy. The "Stick-boy" seemed a bit rigid, as he was just dragged through the crowd, but knew who he was - class president Kurin. Shizuka was a voice she had been familiar with for a long time, she remembered hearing it echo in the halls and even outside, but never met him. Now she had just been face to face with him, literally. "My eyes are so light because I'm going blind, and they'll keep getting lighter till then....and thank you". She added, her cheeks flushed again. Kiku personally wasn't the biggest fan of her fading eyes, but the sting of knowing she was going blind wore off a long time ago. Slipping her thumb out from under her mask quickly letting it fall back into place. She crossed her arms under her chest, and turned her head slight at the two. It then dawned on her that he was asking her to be on their team, she smiled as a sense of relief washed through her. Starting conversations wasn't her forte, and now she didn't have to approach anybody. "Yeah, okay! We just need to find one more person, right?" She chirped, extending one arm out from under her chest to shake their hands, "I'm Kiku of the Kurama Clan".

Kiku

She had been awake early that day, rising as soon as the sun broke through her window. Sliding off the bed, she lightly made her way to her desk, grabbing her brush, she began combing through the absurdly long locks she kept. After a few moments, she began to get dressed for the day, and looked back at the note she had received from the Hokage. Today is the day... She smiled, walking back over to her desk and reaching forward for her glasses and mask. She tucked her mask into her kunai holder and then placed the thin black framed glasses onto her face. Staring at herself in the mirror, looking at her eyes - she noticed they had become lighter, she gasped slightly. Leaning forward the rays of light moved off her face, and relief dashed through her veins upon realization it was just the rays of light reflecting off her mirror. She was 19, with only maybe 15 more years left of decent vision left. Kiku shook her head as if the ideas would shake off like water droplets, and walked away from the mirror - quietly exiting the house. The sun was slowly rising - pinks and golds lightened from their deeper hues the higher the sun rose. She stared up admiring the sky, trying to burn these images into her head any moment she could.

Exam Stadium

She had arrived with the crowd, as she stood before the gates - her hand slid up to her face removing her glasses. Her other hand moving into her Kunai holder, removing her mask and replacing in its spot, her glasses. Staring down at the purple mask in her hands, she rubbed her thumbs over it and let out a relaxed breath - tying it around her head and adjusting the strap under her lavender locks. She let out a few light clicks, and then it was like she could see everything clearly in front of her again. Every body, their movements, the way they were facing, the rocks and leaves on the sidewalk - Kiku advanced into the stadium.

Unfortunately, everywhere she went was almost too loud for her enjoyment, her senses always heightening even further upon closing her eyes. She moaned after an unpleasant smell of body odor filled her nostrils. Her acute hearing picked up a few conversations - something about a strudel, an extremely foreign accent she hadn't even heard before, two people talking more intently. Kiku finally reached behind her head, and untied the mask giving herself a moment. Catching it in her left hand, she rubbed her eyes and blinked a few times her eyes adjusting to the low light. Looking around she studied the mixture of Chunin arorund her. All the babbling died down a bit, at least to Kiku, the moment she took the mask off - her world became a bit quieter, and more relaxed not having to hear every frustrating gritty detail of peoples lives.

Kiku walked through the crowds seeing many familiar faces from her Academy class, she waved to Hime - who was rather preoccupied and didn't notice her. As Kiku tried to make her way through the crowd, the Hokage's voice boomed forward. Her eyes strained to focus on him, quickly she placed on her glasses and stared up at the figure that inspired her in her journey to become a great Ninja. She smiled, and crossed her arms at how easy it would be for her to unearth the other teams scrolls. All she had to do was listen, and picking through conversations in a crowd had become so easy for the young Kunoichi. Upon the Hokage finishing his speech, Kiku looked in front of her to see two Uchiha's: Date and Kobito.[@Queenteze]@TheCrash20 Leaning forward between the two with a smirk, "Good luck guys," her tone warm with sincerity. Kiku looked at them both, and rocked back onto the balls of her feet - removing her glasses and looking towards the ground. They didn't really need luck, both talented Uchiha. Kiku held no resentment towards anyone in class, so she had no reason to not wish them luck.

She decided to tie back on her mask, maybe it'd make her 5'3" self more intimidating. Kiku placed her hands on her hips, quickly flicking her sensors on and assessing her possible enemies in the future. Some of the Iwa Chunin were most definitely going to be interesting, she turned her in the direction of the chakra sources that were intriguing her - breathing evenly, trying to silence the conversations that were ringing in her ears. Though the accent again came through, she turned her head and let out a click - the body's in the crowd becoming visible in her mind. She could sense Hime, Kurin, and an Iwa girl - she had apparently been drinking, Kiku chuckled as she kept her face turned towards the trio, listening .@Reflection@GlitchyBugger@Savato

Appearance/Wardrobe
Kiku has very long purple/lavender hair, with eyes a little lighter to compliment - hair color/eye color are a Clan Trait.  She is slender, and stands at about 5'5" when she is an adult, and shorter than most in her youth.

On her time off, she is found to be modest and reserved. Usually wearing jeans, or black joggers and a black halter top - of course with her glasses. These are crucial to her failing eyesight, and she'll never be caught without them.

When fighting, she typically wears a mask - a tight black and purple dress with matching gloves and boots. Don't ask her she chose something so revealing, her answer usually is that's it 'breathable fabric'.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Personality

Kiku was a very disciplined child by her Clan, so this led to her being very quiet and observant when she got older. It wasn't until Konoha that she didn't have the pressure of her clan to live up to their expectations anymore, so she opened up and started making friends. She was still known for being a little quiet, and always having her nose in a book. But she was very energetic when it came to training, and group missions - she seemed to be the enforcer behind training in her squad.

In missions - Kiku thinks without emotion, and always obeys orders. It almost like she is a robot, and refuses to go against the orders of the current leader. She will do what needs to be done - regardless of who it leaves behind, or harms. One thing that seemed to carry over from her Clan was her disdain for those weaker than hers - she believes training to be the 'cure-all' essentially, and has no remorse for those who overlook this, and fail.

With opponents, she is very cold and silent - her wearing a mask as she fights only adds a bit more of a ominous factor. She doesn't believe in sharing words, or trying to find a common ground with enemies - just to merely finish the mission as was instructed to her.

Kiku is self-conscious about her eyes, as they seem to lighten every year she gets older. So don't be alarmed when she doesn't always look you right in the face to talk. She stands at about 5'5" and is also aware of how short she is, having a small complex about this as well.

To those that are good to her, she is great back too. Taking her bonds very seriously with her teammates, and fellow villagers. Kiku finds herself appreciating Konoha more in her late teen years, seeing that this place made her open up and live a happy life, one where she achieved her goal of becoming a Ninja. So she typically is a half-cup full kind of person.

* Usually fights blindfolded, unless enemy is notable and challenging.
* Studied bats and their echolocation abilities - and uses this knowledge/practice in her own "Blind-Fighting" Technique.

<<SANCTUARY>>

September 23rd, 2030, is when the attack happened....

At Approx 1626 EST, a giant swirling lightning filled black portal opened up above every Continent. Each one reporting in the same Phenomenon, mere minutes after each other. At 1943 EST, the portals slowly began to produce beings. Demons. They came in different shapes, and sizes - grotesque beings. Some spit acid, others tore humans apart with their claws, the more people screamed the crazier they went it seemed. They filled each country, and state - mutilating all humans. In a matter of 2 hours, 70% of the worlds population had been wiped out. Cities, and towns were destroyed all over the world. The portal disappeared, leaving behind plenty of demons with its closing. Humanity fell that day, many of the survivors screamed at God - begging, asking why this horror would find its way to Earth. Other survivors accepted it, and evolved with the new desolate world. Throughout the years, times have been very rough on humanity. Demons still ruled the earth, scavenging on the survivors they could find. Now it was like a game with the population dwindling even further as every day, week, and month passed.
It is now 200 years later, and Humanity seems to be rising again. Around 100 years ago, there was an established Civilization that rose and began to prosper - Sanctuary. Around the time of its rise, there was a rise of a demon-fighting Vanguard, the Guardians. They set up establishments to the North, East, West, and South of Sanctuary. What began as mere hundreds of people in between the rise of Sanctuary, and the Guardians has now risen to thousands between the two.
Sanctuary itself houses over 1000 human survivors, and over 300 in its outer village as of today. Some colonists have gotten brave with time and moved outside the Village walls - establishing their own settlements/tribes mere miles from Sanctuary. All doing trades, and cohabitating with each other in this new world. With human numbers increasing, this has been seen as the 'Rise of Humanity,' and many are wanting to continue fighting to destroy every trace of demons. And with attacks frequenting on the Mountain Village, its a good thing this Rise is influencing many of the villagers.
Sanctuary operates from a King, King Dominick, who has so far been chosen based off of Lineage - the first King, King Gerard Nouvelle was his Grandfather, and his father King Marcus - who died an early death as he went to battle protecting the Outer Village from immense demonic attack.
It was during King Marcus's reign that a new era started, and that era was the bonding, and cohabitating of Halfbreed Demons, and Humans. He started a very small settlement for halfbreeds before his death, believing that humans and halfbreeds could work together and live in harmony. He also knew that these halfbreeds possessed powers, and it was better to be on their good side. After his death, King Dominick took reign at Age 19, which many weren't happy with the youngster taking the crown so soon. But he has carried on his fathers legacy, upheld his morals, and has made Sanctuary a much most bustling place in the past 41 years of his reign.
Since it has been 200 years since the fall of the 'Modern World,' humanity took a giant step back technologically. And has reverted back to a Medieval era of living, no electricity to be found, No A/C to keep you cool. But this is all normal to those who have been born in the past 200 years to this Apocalyptic way of life. Though now, there have been small breakthroughs as literature is being discovered advancing the movement and basic electronics are being worked on to hopefully expand humans way of life.
In Sanctuary, you are expected to contribute to the whole by being given a job. Some Villagers are born into jobs from business' their parents own. After schooling, which ends around age 12, others are placed in jobs chosen by the King and his Advisors. But at age 10, everyone is evaluated to see if they are fit to be apart of the Guardians. Those who are chosen, are sent away immediately. You can volunteer for the Guardians around age 16 again, but you will be reevaluated by different standards set by the King.
Sanctuary is a very interesting place, which could be seen as something out of a futuristic novel. Halfbreeds roam the streets, and work among us - many villagers don't mind, but there are plenty that also don't agree with these laws. As is there a disturbance in the halfbreed community, many find themselves happy to be living a seemingly normal human life, others angry at the majority of humans for various reasons.
Where will you find yourself in Sanctuary?

SETTING:

Sanctuary is located deep within the European mountains, only 256 miles from the Eastern Coast. It sits about 1/4th of a mile from a waterfall, and this water flow unground into Sanctuary - supplying fresh water in reservoirs that have been built around accordingly for use. Located on a mountain overlook meters above the outer village is a red arch, that allows vagabonds to know their search is over - or help villagers find their way home. In order to get into Sanctuary, you must past through the first outer gate into the outer town known as Fora - and then inside the only known Entrance into Sanctuary. The woods around Sanctuary are thick with life, and artifacts from the past. Villagers are allowed to explore the woods, and mountainsides - but it is at their own risks, and there have been some that have never returned. The forest seems to always be giving in the Spring and Summer times, which is when Sanctuary flourishes with Villagers preparing for Winter. The winters can be very harsh, and sometimes even the Villagers of Fora find themselves behind the Mountain walls.
Nefnast, the Halfbreed town, is located SouthWest a 1/2 mile from the Fora's Entrance, and the Gardens are located 1/4th mile East from the outer Fora's Entrance. Guards are on constant duty, surveying the area - and escorting gardeners, Halfbreeds, humans in between Sanctuary, Nefnast, and the Gardens.

Electricity is currently being worked on, and hopefully a way will be found to install it throughout the mountain - and begin changing life for Villagers.
