As it so turns out RPGuild is not dead and neither am I! However I have lost both of my personal devices recently so I am unable to say how I'll be able to keep up with this site if at all. I'm sorry.

Bio

Hey, you! Welcome to my Basic Member Page!
I know, I know. Impressive. Please remove your jaw from the floor, your drool is staining my virtual carpet. Japes aside, seeing as you're still reading, I suppose I'll introduce myself.

My name's Tiye, and I've been role-playing on & off again for about 3 years now; originally with a few close friends, chat rooms here & there, but I mostly stuck with creative writings of own. Now I'm looking for more of a community. Some things about me: I'm a Black, 17 year old, agenderflux (they/she pronouns) teen who errs on the side of intrigue, and enjoys long walks by the beach. I've also been known to have a penchant for humor, but I don't know who started that vile rumor. If you find them, they're wanted dead or alive.

So yeah, that's me. How about you? Don't be afraid to pm or message, I only bite when I'm hungry or bigots are nearby. Either way, have a good one :)

;-; why can't I just run into a Pokémon whose level isn't in the double digits? *sigh* perhaps the RNG Deities challange me so that I may become stronger from my losses.
ROUTE 1

"Woah, hang in there girl!" Just how many over-leveled Furrets would Rin run into? They could feel their gut twisting seeing Anusobeket half taken out by just one attack. Rin wasn't used to losing and they certainly didn't like the feeling of it! This was supposed to be their journey to becoming Champion! Weren't they supposed to mow down Sentrets and Rattata rather than encounter two Smergles and two Stalker Furrets? "If this is your idea of humbling me, it won't work," Rin yelled petulantly to the universe itself. Rin brought their face back from its position of staring at the sky to look at the battle in front of them. "Use Water Gun again, Anu!" If Rin was going to lose, it'd be with the same stubborn fire they always had in their eyes. They would not be forced into learning a lesson any time soon. Regretfully.

That was the intention! I've never really roleplayed with this player-narrator alternating post style, so I think I'm just defaulting to cartoon adverts for inspiration for my closing lines sometimes, lol. I hope it's more amusing than cheesy!
ROUTE 1

As Rin swatted down another shoot of tall grass to their left, Anusobeket blasted another low-hanging branch with Water Gun to her right. The system seemed to be working pretty well in regards to eliminating the obstructions in their path, but so far yielded no wild pokémon. That is until the duo switched places. Just as Anu turned her head left she caught glimpse of a wild Furret jumping in the air! Preemptively she unleashed her attack only for the water to slink right over the wild pokémon's head as it landed back into the grass. Assuming it was the Furret from earlier, Anusobeket began charging another Water Gun in her mouth as she adamantly chased after the Long Body Pokémon. Only a gurgled, "Toto!" alerted Rin of their Totodile's hunt. Guessing pretty quickly what could have caused Anu to act this way, Rin followed quick on her heels.

"Nice one, girl! As soon as you see whatever pokémon we're looking for, you blast her good, okay?" The hunt was on. Would the two catch up to this jolly Furret? Would Anusobeket defeat a Furret this time? Would Rin try a different strategy? Who knows? What's for certain is that they were gonna try their very best!

@Balthazar007
You referred to Rin as a "her" in your last response to me (as well you've applied Her and She to Osajyin before).

whenever the trainer and her Tododile

I'll get to writing though. See ya soon! Lol, can't believe we've run into another Furret Stalker.
ROUTE 1

Rin smiled proud as Osajyin's glimmering form brought the Pokémon out of his stupor. When the light broke off of his body, a much more stable and stronger Bayleef stood in front of them. "Beau-" The surprisingly heavy thud of the fallen Smergle piqued Rin's ears, cutting off their compliment. With a devilish smirk all too pleased with themself, Rin slowly turned to face the fainted painter. Beauty had beaten The Beholder. Jumping in the air Rin cheered, "Hell yeah!" Coming back down, Rin threw their arms around Osajyin's long neck, and pulled him close. "I knew you could do it!"

"Bay, Bayleef," Osajyin thanked.

"This is our first win together, Osaja!" Pointing upwards on the tips of their toes, Rin dramatically screamed out to the night sky, "It's the first of many!" Rin placed their hands on their hips briefly before reaching for Osajyin's pokéball. "This night isn't done until I fill these other two pokéballs, but you desvere a good rest, buddy." One flash of red later and the Leaf Pokémon was snug asleep inside the standard device. Rin yawned, but threw out Anusobeket's pokéball anyway, thus releasing her from her nap. "You ready to restore your undefeated streak?"

"Dile!" Anusobeket shouted back fully alive with energy.

"Then let's get to it! First one to find a wild pokémon wins!" Rin's Pokédex beeped with a notification from Liz, but their yelling drowned it out. Not needing any further encouragement, the two of them raced further into the tall grass ahead.

ROUTE 1

"Osajyin!" Rin could see it in his eyes how much it hurt him when the Smergle yanked on his leaf. In response, Rin dislocated the wild pokémon's grip manually and barely contained the urge to throw the little monster. Turning Osaja's face over to check for any bruising Rin's face creased in parental worry. "Are you hurt? Are you okay?" the Bayleef did his best to look calm, but he looked ready to give up. "It's gonna be okay, buddy, use Synthesis for now, alright?" Nodding weakly, Osajyin's leaf shimmered a vibrant glow, but Rin wouldn't take their eyes off of him. Who knew a Smergle could be so vicious? Hopefully this draining move would serve it a little poetic justice and even take the little monster down.

@Balthazar007
It still reads on the post that Smergle fainted, but I'll get to writing now as I hadn't started yet to see what I'd need to have the two react to. I will probably be going online for the night shortly as I'm sure you could predict by the lateness of the hour. I may still have a two or so posts in me though if you're going to be up much longer.
@Balthazar007

Rin regrets for me to inform you that Osajyin's actually the one who lost 11 power, not the other way around. Why you gotta tease me like that? ;-; Just kidding, lol, but too bad though. Looks like we still in this fight for the long haul! As long as that Smergle doesn't get any more crazy rolls that is!
@Cerces22
I know, I know. I just like to tease is all. As for the ignoring, I think I'll have to chock that up to Rin's hyperactivity. With all of their bouncing from place to place they'll shortly forget all about their Pokédex, in favor of taking it all in. Hopefully we'll be able to battle soon though! ...If I can ever escape this battle that is! Who'd know a move-less Smergle could draw out a fight this much?
