If this RP is still accepting, then its time to make a real selfish shithead character.
Not really nuclear wasteland apocalypse but a kind of gradual breakdown of order for many reasons, including various wars, government experiments gone wrong, various gangs taking over entire cities and general madness like that.
We would be members of a cult called the League of Bastards, a group focused on exploiting the f**ed up state of the world for their own personal gain. The League of Bastards, though few in number, is ruthless and feared, but as you can probably guess by the name, the members of this group aren't exactly honorable, and are fine with fighting and killing each other over disagreements. This means PVP, YAY! But heres another detail: For some reason, every time a Bastard dies, he/she wakes up a few hours later, alive and breathing. Who is responsible for this? Funny enough, every other gang, cult, and faction in the city seems hell bent on wiping out the Bastards for good. Lol, best of luck to them.
So this RP would be set in either Denver, CO or Northern Virginia, your vote. Think Fallout, Manhunt, and Dark Souls mixed together (though you could say the graphics suck.)

And don't worry, my other character will be Albert Wesker, and his full on villain self.

Appearance: His broad shouldered, muscular 190 pound body stands at 6'2, holding up his hairy but well-put-together head. His blonde facial thinly shrouds his face, while the hair on his head is often combed back. His constantly tense expression tells the story of past combat experience, the details of which he will never share.
Starting Armor:
Starting Weapons:
Nerds may complain, but no actual beam emits. He just pulls the trigger, and whatever its pointed at gets hit with a highly concentrated and very hot shot of light.
Fully automatic but hard to stay on target due to recoil.
Combat Specialty: Automatic weapons, though he chose the laser rifle himself because he thought it would be more effective.
Other Skills: Very skilled with computers, knows a bit about weapon maintenance and first aid.
History: Richard was raised by loving parents in a good neighborhood, having gotten good grades in high school and doing quite well in the swim team. He could have gone off to university, gotten his computer science degree, and made a decent living as a software engineer, but despite all his interests he always felt he had to serve his country, so off he went to the US military. This was during a peaceful time, but peace never seems to last, and conflict arose in Eastern Europe, parts of Asia, and the Middle East, in the war people dreaded for a long time: WW3. To put everyone at ease, this did not result in a nuclear apocalypse, but maybe it could have, had the cease fire not been called to deal with the Pests which seemed to have come out of nowhere.
The world, and the human race, had avoided a nuclear disaster, but Richard was a different man after the war. The things he saw changed him, and he couldn't bring himself to sit at a desk and create software for the rest of his life. Though he hates it, he feels he must continue fighting.
