Several more tendrills appeared and shot towards the Shade to bind it, while her two main tendrills shot towards it to pierce its chest.

Mina looked at Hikari as he stated they should attack and frowned. As the Shade attacked she stepped aside and summoned her shadows.
'Do my shadows work against it?' she asked Hikari, her shadowy tendrills curling around and readying to strike or defend if necessary.

Mina growled in annoyance when a few of their little group ran off into the woods. If it's name was what it was, Mina's shadows would do little good against it. She cursed under her breath as she bundled up a stack of herbs she had collected and was about to exit the cave when the sound of battle arose from the trees.

Mina looked up. 'I say we move up stream, most likely it will lead somewhere up hills and will grant us better access to any mountain passes. If we get to higher ground we can better prepare for whatever can happen and can keep a lookout.' she said.

'Me?' she asked with somewhat surprised eyes.
She blinked a bit and looked at him weirdly before speaking. 'Uhm.. it's Minata..., Mina for short.'
