Name: Shortar’Norae vas Ektomi

Race: Quarian

Gender: Male

Age: 31

Class: Infiltrator

Appearance: Typical Quarian attire, colored a deep red with black detailing

Background:
Shortar'Norae was born in the Migrant Fleet, as most Quarian are. However, his mother suffered problems from child birth and died, leaving his father, Pari’Norae, to attempt to raise the child on his own. However, Pari slowly crashed as the enormity of the loss of his wife struck him, and he became reclusive, causing Shortar to raise himself. He got himself up in the mornings, got ready for school, and made himself meals. Around age 13, Shortar became rebellious. “If our medicine was better, my mother would still be here. Father wouldn’t be in the sad state he is. It’s the Conclave’s fault!” These thoughts turned to words. Eventually, Shortar was arrested due to attempting to steal one of the Mirgrant Fleet’s fighter ships..
During the trial, which was private so as to keep the public largely unaware of the disturbance, the Conclave basically gave Shortar two options; ‘Continue living your life normally, or be exiled. We can’t have a young man who refuses to cooperate. You need to think about the best interests of the Fleet.’ Of course, Shortar chose exile.

I've already got a good bit of my Character sheet done, just the basics. I could go ahead and post if you guys want to go ahead and critique. However, since the character I have in mind is an infiltrator, he has an intense background thus far. :P
I was told by a "reliable" source that there was still an opening in this lovely RP?
Innovative Enigmas said I would be an allie consider I supply alot of the worlds Iron and steel you'd need my goods dude.

If I may, I beg to differ. I don't believe I would need your goods as much as you think since my people literally live inside mountains and are expert miners/forgers/blacksmiths. I may occasionally have need for more materials (i.e. during war), yet during peace times, it would not be necessary.
I just made my first legit RP post. How did I do?
The Hold of Grimmanar

The King's Palace

King Thordrek Foesword finished reading the letter aloud and set it on the side table to his right. He strode over to the window overlooking Armgaudr's central plaza. He gently massaged his temples and contemplated the festivat. The oldest Dwarf present, a General named Dogthen Axeheart, rose and addressed his King. "My lord, if I may speak my opinion, I believe-" Thordrek quickly turned to the General and barked, "You may not give your opinion, as I did not ask for it!" The echoing silence that followed created enough tension that the Council Chamber Guards in the hallway shifted their footing. Thordrek snatched the letter back off the table and read again, " 'To all nations that follow the one true religion'," he snarled. "My father told these men that we would continue to worship our own, true Gods. They mean to mock us! I won't stand for it!" The King looked to Falan Orcspike, his friend and advisor. "What do you believe this means?" Falan, having a sly tongue, smoothly slid from his chair and moved to examine the letter, which the King had crumpled and thrown to the ground in his rage. As he restored the paper to legible condition, he read over the brief message. "Sire, perhaps they simply wish to conduct a conference, and wouldn't want a thief or pickpocket to get hold of this and know your personal business." Falan strode to the window. "I believe, your Majesty, that we should send in a politician and a guard detail, to see what the fuss is about." Thordrek nodded slowly. "Now, has anyone another say on the matter?" No one in the Council breathed a word. "Now then, let us put it to a vote. All those in favor of Politician Orcspike's plane, say aye." The entirety of the Council chorused 'Aye', and the meeting was dismissed.

In the wilderness, near the border of Aethinia

Baerya Metalworker sat in her home, looking over different smelting recipes given to her by one of her friends of Armgaudr's forging center. The recipe was for a shortsword. Baerya was quite fond of the short blades, getting up close and personal with those she had to fight. Her last sword broke, when she tried to prove to Jorn Firehammer, the governer of Gornae, that her swings could shatter stone. This was not the case. Now, required to forge her own blade, she had been pouring over different schematics for forging blades and settled on this one. As she was about to stand, there was an urgent knock on her door. Living alone amongst the mountains, no one ever came to visit her. When she opened the door, a Royal Messenger stood to attention and saluted. "Baerya Metalworker, Representative of the Outlying Villages, the King has requested your assistance," The Messenger held out a letter, and Baerya took the letter and opened it. As she did, a small paper fell out of the letter. She read over the request to come to the festivat, then looked at the King's request.

To: Baerya Metalworker, Representative of the Outlying Villages
From: King Thordrek Foesword

The Doge is once again requesting us to 'kindly' accept his religion as our own. I must ask you to go to the festivat and remind him of the deal made between my father, King Gornak Foesword, and himself. Please deal with this matter quickly. there will be a guard for your journey and stay in Calxus. Report to the Palace at your earliest convenience.
~Thordrek Duili Foesword

Baerya sighed. She had hoped that her days of being the ambassador for the King's every whim were over. She looked at the Messenger, who had stepped inside and closed the door. "Let me grab my things. I'll be going back to the palace with you." The Messenger nodded and stepped outside. Baerya put on her armor, which consisted of a leather tunic and leather greaves, chainmail gauntlets, and iron shoulder pauldrons and boots. She placed her cloak around her and strapped her replacement shortsword on her belt, and her arrow quiver and bow along her back. On her way out the dor, Baerya grabbed her Thranarum purse and stepped into the chilly air. As she mounted her horse, she nodded to the Messenger. "Let's go."
TheSovereignGrave said Well not necessarily allies, but Khaydah tends to try to be on friendly terms with everyone around them. Since they are sort of a trade node for the continent.

Alright. And seeing how your reaction to the Holiness was... Well, I'll let you see when I post in a minute.

And yay, a new Nation!
I'm about to post, setting a few different places up right now. Does anyone want to be an allies with the Kolmaenar of the Hold of Grimmanar?
Two ODST squads aboard the UNSC Frigate Bag 'Em and Tag 'Em (Nicknamed BEATE by crew members as well as Marine and ODST personnel) have seen constant action fighting in the Human-Covenant War. The two squads work together, and are specialized to focus on a certain task of missions. Hammer Squad, under the leadership of Commander Devin "Rock" Payne, is primarily heavy weapons and explosives based, mainly equipped with shotguns and Jackhammer rocket launchers. Sword Squad, lead by Commander Kevin "Lee" Enfield, consists of riflemen using Assault and Battle Rifles.

Squad Commander Kevin "Lee" Enfield has already been taken. There will be TEN members of each squad.

I will be portraying Commander "Rock", so I will put the first bio up as a base for others to base theirs off of.
Name: Devin "Rock" Payne
Age: 35
Rank: Commander
Armor Color secondary: Deep Red
Armor Customizations(All armor must maintain the basic look of ODST armor; no wearing full Spartan armor): Up-armored left shoulder pauldron, Command Network Module attachment on helmet
Weapon Loadout(If you are in the riflemen Squad, have either an Assault Rifle or Battle Rifle Primary with an SMG or Magnum Secondary; in the heavy/explosives Squad, either a Shotgun or Rocket Launcher Primary, SMG or Magnum Secondary; each ODST recieves two fragmentation grenades per mission, plus supplies recovered during missions) Primary: Rocket Launcher Secondary: SMG
Personality(Give a brief description of your ODST's general attitude towards fellow soldiers and commanders, i.e. aggressive, respectful, etc.; plus general, normal behavior, i.e. solitary, talkative, amusing, etc.): Respects troops under his command for being a bunch of tough sons-of-bitches. In general, Rock is a joking type of guy and even cracks jokes during missions. He enjoys treating his men as a father would treat his favorite son; congratulate you on a job well done, give you general praise, and brag about you, but if you so much as take a step in the wrong direction, there will be hell to pay.
Background(How long has your ODST been an ODST? Did he/she volunteer for the outfit or was he/she recommended to join?): Devin has been an ODST since the age of 26, after leading his former Marine squad out of a Covenant-held building and only losing one man, due to the soldier losing his nerve and running ahead of the others into a Covenant ambush, which subsequently saved the rest of his team. After the mission, Devin was given an option to lead an ODST squad on the Frigate Bag 'Em and Tag 'Em. After careful consideration and consulting his Marines, the Commander agreed and was transferred over to the Frigate. News of his success had spread across the ship, and he was given a warm welcome.
Hey, could everyone make a post saying which region they own? To help newcomers out when they join, if anything. I have Baragh
