That reminds me... Where would your character have been Abysmal? He was a marine, so he'd not have been under Carter's command. Though they might have seen eachother if they were both at the stadium.
No worries. Just voicing a little worry, you hadn't gone too far with it. ;) And tell me what you decide on their past interactions. If necessary, we can discuss it if you wanna come up with a few things Horus had done. We've got time before I can roll out my next post. And even more time before they actually see eachother. And probably... Exchange some friendly gunfire.

Edit: I'll re read Horace's background and whatnot to see what Carter may know. You go ahead and come up with some shenanigans or whatever while they were holding the stadium. Perhaps Horace hated the previous commander, or really liked them and had a differing view of Carter. It's possible, Carter talked to him about focusing his wish to kill on just the enemy. As a special forces operator, he more than likely developed his own desire to spill blood. Though... On a much lesser level than horus.
Then he'd have read Horace's probably barely passing psych reports. He'll be very watchful of him, but beyond that... There won't be any negative interaction unless Horace starts it. And... It seems that he will with that pistol.

Though I do have to voice a little concern about his '6th sense' it seems pretty meta-gamey to me, but... It's not really doing anything for right now and with zeds all over the place, he'd probably have his gun out anyway.

And as far as their past relationship goes... If there were suspicions about Horace killing his own men, Carter would have read interrogation reports and whatnot, and any other nasty activity would have been the one to dole out punishments. However he's very civil. Would state the punishment, ask the soldier if they understood why it had to be done, and if they planned on doing it again. And then why they answered what they did, whether it was yes or not. Along with asking why they did what they did.
Hate wouldn't be the word I'd use... Wary is more accurate. Am I assuming that he was previously one of the soldiers under Carter's command as defense for the stadium? Or perhaps he was in one of the extermination units? Whether they knew eachother before or not is up to you.
Oh I figure. :P And I personally don't care. But Carter will. He don't put up with hositlity in the ranks. If there's a problem, it's going to be talked over and solved. Teamwork is key, and to work as a team you need to get along... He was SF, so he likes his team to move like clockwork.
Just a warning. If someone attacks another soldier unprovoked while within Carter's sight... He will not hesitate to shoot the attacker in the head.
interesting world, but... I'd need to see some of the story or what the plot would be before I committed.
Oh I didn't intend to storm it with the jeep. He just turned it on and let it go with something holding the gas pedal down to act as a distraction. I'd said it went in the direction of the gunshots so... I wanted to know what should be done with it.

Edit: I'll just edit it so it says it went off into the distance instead of any particular direction.

edit 2: Nevermind, I'd already had it that way! My whole problem was... Not a problem in the very first place. Derp.
What should I do with the humvee? Are we gonna say it just zipped off into the distance? Or should it crash into the motel?

edit: Oops, double post. x:

edit 2: I said it just vanished into thin air. If you wanna change that miss cook, be my guest. Or perhaps we'll find it later.
