The lights of Gar's mask came on in a gentle glow, his head shifting to look about the room. Almost half the crew was here. Hopefully we could get this underway soon
The captain was crabby. Probably going t be a long day... and he wasnt the only one who seemed abit deprived. Lack of sleep was obvious in some...

"Wasnt quiet ready for the day,huh, Ramona?" Came his filtered voice, as if he was speaking through an old radio. "Surprised anyone is tired. We've been so lax as of late, everyone should be in perfect condition..." the statement was just a general one, not meant to be directed at anyone particular.

The machine...Nexus...moved over and proceeded to aid Ramona in looking abit more presentable. This actually earned abit of irritation from the cyborg, though he didnt voice it. Only signalled by the tightening of one usually relaxed fist.
When said machine clumsily knocked over a chair and nearly crippled the meeting table, an electronic snort escaped the engineer

"Nice one, droid. Thought you were supposed to be coordinated. Not tripping over your own feet."
To say Gar was pleased with having the machine on board the ship was far from the truth. He didnt care to have it working so indipendently. His fellow engineers used machines all the time to help in labor,but this...this just irked him.

"Need to run a scan on your gyroscopic and moter coordination systems. Dont need you putting a hole in the hull. Hell, go get checked in the docking bay. Im sure we can...do something about it. maybe take the legs off completly. Put you on a set of wheels..."
The lights died out again as Gar's head fell back, seeming to relax again.

"Or, atleast, come to the meeting room. Captain out!"
The cyborg replayed the announcment mentally, and sighed. A star trek reference? Really? Had his captain fallen so low...
The cyborg Engineer, Aiden Garthar, released a grumble, the panal of his arm opened up, splayed and vulnerable, as he worked with the pieces inside. He would find himself cursing the one who made his body, briefly forgetting it was himself, for the most part. He needed to care for his form even more diligently, but personal maintanace was often the last thing on his mind.

Letting the limb close, and shift to align the pieces properly, he gave a groan. He couldnt help but feel his captains announcements often had some form of star trek reference...and since coming onto the condor, has watched the entire franchise...twice. currently going for a third. As maddening as it was, he couldnt help but be intruiged by they 20st century television show, even those after it, and mostlikely the captain had a similar opinion. He just hoped he wasnt comparing his crew to that of the old. He didnt not seem like the "captain piccard" in the show at all...

But, he was the captain, and he may not be a starfleet captain, but he was still a man Gar had yet to regret meeting. Leaning back in his seat, letting his other limbs adjust their intricacies, before pushing himself to a stand. Pressing the com on the wall he spoke" Aye, boss. Gar will be up shortly", and stepped out of his quarters, his cloak slipping over his shoulders. Many of the oher crew didng care to see the...bits and bobs of his body. Made them uncomfortable...

The ship was up to date. Managed to get in afew improvements during their stay. But unfortunantly there was only so much engineering could do before maintenance became gratuitous. The ship was practically brand new from the work they had been putting out. It it was becoming dull around the halls. Hell, he was actually doing maintenance on himself. Thats just too freaking slow. The fact that half the engineers dont require sleep made things go by fast. The droids( Gar's general term for the comeplete machines that aided about the ship) made the more tedious work go by easier, he had to admit that. But the bloody things didnt have a creative bolt in their chassis. One thing he felt he was blessed with. All the capabilities of a machine, and the creativity of a human...
Entering the meetig room, Gar quickly took a seat, propping his metal feet up on a nearby chair, hands folding behind his back and his almost malnutritioned chest in view as the lights of his helmet went our, simulating rest

So is the human race still a rather industrial in design? Big, clunky, mechanical beasts, or have we come to the more sleek and advanced designs sci fi shows portray, like startrek?
Int4ested!
@dr catfish
I agree,that will be interesting. They also have differing perspectives(one being from a human point and one from a machine) witch can cause some conflict of intrests. However,thw tqo will probably get along and work well together in a crisis ^^' when sh*t hits the fan and all that
Im kinda excited foe this...
Would an undead character be allowed?
@pathfinder
...i can see a rivalry of some form between gar and na'shur would be fun
@pathfinder im sorry! I was talking about my own character Garthar. Sorry for the confusion
Well, i mea as long as his brain is in overall good condition,wouldnt he act like he did as a normal human? Actually have his personality intact?
Oh my god Gar is going to give Na'shur so much bull. Just gonna be like " here, hold this wrench for me" and just walk off, with no intention to come back for it
Hes mostly machine,his internals and limbs,but he still has somw stuff
