"Fight Fight Fight!" went the chanting of the night fight club in one very known area. Republic City, but not just Republic City, it was hidden in the depths of it and only the best of the best could find it. Airi smiled as she had on what seemed to be a remade water bender uniform. She had her basic Water bending shoes on but also wore the clothes of many non-bender individuals. She didn't wanna stick out as just a bended, but also wanted to stick out as a normal person.
"Welcome to the stage, Airi! She's new here, so please, be gentle." The announcer yelled as Airi jumped up onto the stage, a hood hiding her face from the public. Airi stretched her back slightly and smiled at the man who was in front of her, he was skinny but had a lot of muscles, definitely a challenge for her. “Ready, set, FIGHT!” the guy yelled, causing Airi to put her hands up in a defensive manner.
“Awwww…. Look at the tiny girl… You shouldn’t be here, you can get hurt, you will get hurt.” He taunted, which only caused Airi to scoff slightly. “That’s what you think, punk. I’ll give you time to run.” She taunted back. She flipped into the air and sent a kick to the side of the man’s face, but he didn’t flinch, he just grabbed Airi by the ankle and tosses her to the side, where she pushed off the wall when coming into contact with it and went flying, sending a punch straight to his face, causing him to stumble back.
“Stay one step ahead of your opponent. Analyze everything in the room. What could be a weapon and what could be fatal. Use the room to your advantage.” she stated as she landed back down onto the ground and cracked her knuckles. The man was furious now, he went to the girl and started to swing his large, meaty arms at her, in which she used her training back in the Air Temple to avoid, dodging from left to right. “Is that all you got?”
She jumped up into the air now, grabbing onto the light that hung from the ceiling and sent four quick kicks to his face, causing him to fall down. People looked at her in confusion, they didn’t know how she could be so good at fighting. She didn’t even do much! but it seemed to take this heavy, meaty guy off his feet. The reason was due to them being opposites. She was small and quick, he was slow and full of muscles. All it takes is one fast girl to take him off his feet.
As he came back to his feet again, she let go of the light and body slammed him, slamming his head into the ground, the final blow. As the crown started to cheer in confusion, Airi was given her prize, where she gratefully took it and left. Heading out of the club in seconds, she was down the street, hood still up and money in a bag in her pocket. That wasn’t all though, now there were three cloaked figures following her in the distance, probably wanted to make way with her money, but that wasn’t it, her hand was not becoming numb, an injury from her fall at the Air Temple. “Crap… Not now… I can’t bend without it..”
