Viral was already feeling pretty tired and really wanted to get this over with and luckily it didn’t seem like things were going to get much worse. The warm up was always the worst part and now that he had got through it he was feeling confident he could get through the rest of the day without getting too angry at Vegeta or collapsing. It was harder to remain focused and hoped he wasn’t going to fall over the longer he remained in the same position. Slowly standing up again he stared at Vegeta as he gave further instructions, looking around the room before letting out a sigh. Running was something he was good at and he knew he was very fast, but he wasn’t sure how he might do with this. He kind of pushed himself through that warm up and running was going to need a little more effort. “Running…to the far wall and back a dozen times?” he repeated, looking to Vegeta, “I don’t want you competing with me, I don’t want you running behind me either. Running with me, if you’re going to do that, would work better. I don’t want to end up pouncing on you because I lose my mind”.

Kiton was not happy with them being so bias towards people like him, trying to make them out to be basic scum and people who were better off wiped off the entire plane of existence. It was depressing and degrading, it was telling him they were proud to be above them and happy to see them as common dirt that was a problem to the rest of society. While they were sort of right by that, what they weren’t right about was making them out to be lower than other lifeforms. Looking to Leto who decided to butt in with his own say he stared at him, almost sounding like he was starting to understand where he was coming from before he ended up jumping and raising his hands as Leto raised a fist. While he wasn’t going to end up getting punched by the looks of it he frowned and lowered his again, letting out a sigh. “’Brothers and sisters’…hmm, that’s pretty ridiculous and over the top. I don’t see how my life would become better upon placing myself into the servitude of someone else…”

Kiton wasn’t convinced, seeing how he had his freedom before even if it meant having to run from the authorities for a long time. He did want to be free, but so far Leto and Sasha were trying to recruit him into some sort of army by trying to convince him it’d be like having family. He didn’t really know what family was apart from his father, but he was long gone and didn’t really impact on his life very much. Probably missing the point that they were trying to make he looked to Sasha who attempted to make a deal with him, frowning at her before looking around. “Hm, I’ve never had a home to know what it’s like”, he spoke before pausing, letting out a sigh, “…Well, I had my ship, but that’s gone now”. He still felt pretty lost without his ship considering it was what he spent the most time taking care of before the crash. He knew he crashed it on purpose, but it was a last ditch effort to save himself from those creatures to which it didn’t even kill. “Even if there’s good people here, what’s to say this isn’t just an isolated incident? People can’t normally be nice all the time. What if they’re just being nice because they know you guys are nearby and can kill them if they so much as frown and lower the reputation of the place?”

Krom thought it was best to try and work up the kid first and see if he could find strength through frustration, seeing how they were trying to avoid getting him angry just now. Frustration could boost his strength, but he would need to get over his fear first. Playing around with the kid at first he was soon trying to find a way to make him feel more determined to stop him, kicking him to the ground before turning around. “Don’t listen to him! His life is in danger and you have to prevent that!” Just when he thought Shu was getting into the groove of things he felt a small rush coming towards him, turning around only for Takeshi to punch him in the head. “Agh! What the hell do you think you’re doing??” he gasped, spinning and throwing a punch at Takeshi, “You wanted him trained so I’m doing him first! Would you let the kid have a chance??”

Shu was dazed after the kick but feeling okay, slowly sitting up again with his hands on his head before turning around, seeing Takeshi going after Krom. Gasping, he struggled up to his feet and started to panic, seeing Takeshi get involved when he was doing okay trying to catch Krom to stop him from getting to him. With Takeshi right up in Krom’s face he immediately got scared, making a leap at Krom and managing to grab at his leg before punching at it. “No! Don’t get Takeshi!”
Cecil was sure there would be something in his check-up that could be used to determine what he was supposed to function as when it wasn’t written in his memory. If it was written in his memory, knowing what he was supposed to do would be easy and he would have no trouble with understanding himself and knowing why he was drawn to going to the city. Maybe the city was just where all Machina belonged and he was trying to fulfil that desire and need that all Machina must have. If there was something he would be curious about is whether Norman was good enough to break down his accessories and define what he was that way, whether he was someone who had all this information about Machina and not simply someone who only knew how to replace parts and perform maintenance.

Looking to the toolbox he stared at it for a moment before back to Norman who was checking out his gauntlet, watching as he tried to explain what he initially thought about it. “Combat model? So I’m meant to fight?” he asked, looking down at himself before giving a little smile, “I have only had to fight once, but I think I did good during that one”. He was pretty confident that he was made for combat if that was his strong assumption too, but what kind of combat he wasn’t entirely sure. He wasn’t familiar with combat or what they would use Machina for in such things, but maybe he could find out if he found other Machina like him too.

Watching as Norman studied his gauntlet he gasped when he split it part just a little bit, feeling oddly vulnerable immediately. It was making him feel rather concerned at how easy the man made that look. Staring at him as he took a look inside he frowned when everything went silent for a little bit right up until the gauntlet was closed again, his eyes still staring down at it before looking to Norman. “Huh? I-uhh…is that a bad thing? To be life-like?” he questioned him before looking down at himself again, frowning, “I-I just remember a lot of light…and a lot of fear. There was noises everywhere and talking, but I can’t remember what was being said. I just remember being scared and wanting to leave it all behind which I…guess I did manage. I don’t think I was supposed to go, though. Where I was yesterday, there was these men who were wanting to take me back and have me deactivated. So many people hated me, it was just as frightening too…”
It was no use trying to talk to Vegeta about anything, he was just going to get a load of crap back from him. Even after he mentioned that, he couldn’t help but think that Vegeta would just brush it off with some excuse that it was just related to exercise. He was annoyed last time with him making complaints about lifting so much so of course he’d get all mad over this. It was just going to be the same old thing with him and if he wasn’t willing to pay much attention to his complaints then he wasn’t going to give any to him. Seeing that Vegeta was not willing to get down and do this all with him at the start he did make a complaint to get him going, eventually getting him to join in with him. The guy was of course complaining about it, but he didn’t care. Finishing off with the crunches he grumbled as he slowly rolled over, pushing himself up to standing. “…What am I to do after this, then…” he spoke, only doing a few squats before remaining crouched, “I feel fine…for now. There’s nothing in here to do dips on either”.

Kiton glanced up to Sasha before sighing, looking away. He didn’t really go to cities or singular planets for exploring unless there was a bounty there so hearing there were good people was very easy to dismiss. Glancing up to her when she dissed his kind he frowned heavily, his eyes going to her hand in a quick glance. There was nothing to say he wasn’t one of those people to them or anyone who knew of his origins over what he was like beyond that, she was just trying to not make him feel bad for insinuating everyone there was wanting to find trouble and be generally bad people on purpose. He knew what it was like to be part of that group and it was often the case that people looked down upon all of them as a collective and saw them as nothing more than a nuisance. He didn’t believe her bias and the insistence that people here were very hospitable to everyone, that kind of thing just didn’t happen.

Giving Leto an annoyed glance when he decided it was a good enough time to cry over that he sighed and looked away. “Great. I’m sure that all sounded so sweet to the likes of you, but just because you people had nice experiences it doesn’t mean much when you’re generalising everything”, he spoke quickly, throwing his arms up momentarily, “You may have seen the kind of people that hang around there, but deciding to pull me out of the ‘cesspool’ just because you know me is no better than me saying ‘all rebels are selfish socialists only concerned about twisting society into what they want, but you’re not like that at all!’ I mean, how many criminals have you spoken to? How long have you slept in the slums not knowing if you’re going to get food this week? Not everybody has the luxury of space travel to find planets like this! You’ve got to try and survive on your own, keep your wits about you while you’re driven to the desperation that the only way you can survive is by stealing, taking bounties and becoming involved in the black market!” Not knowing if they were even taking any of this in he simply sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. “I didn’t choose to become part of all that either. A lot of people who live as criminals can’t help it until it becomes normal for them, a survival tactic. Not everyone knows what it’s like to have no fear with the only worry on their mind being if they’re going to be hungry enough for dinner…”

Krom stared at Takeshi before looking at Shu, sighing as he contemplated how to go about doing this without the kid wetting himself or trying to tear his face off. There was a variety of ways that it could be done, but given Takeshi’s little prompts and the thought Aito would want to get involved made him have to think of a slightly softer approach. The kid was certainly very sensitive and while it would be better getting rid of that aspect he doubted anybody would want that to happen even if it would potentially make the kid stronger. Looking to Aito he scratched at his chin, sighing lightly before turning to face Shu and Takeshi, walking towards them. “You may think I’m cruel, but I’m very much the opposite of those rookies who probably tried to train you, Takeshi, by sending you out against civilians”, he spoke, stopping a few feet away, “I am not like that. I am not lazy. Saiyans do not gain strength from cruelty, we gain strength from hardship and perseverance. A strong Saiyan is one that has focus, will not let their emotions get the better of them and can instead focus their emotions and turn it into power. Now Shu, you are very…’unique’ for a Saiyan. While Takeshi will get angry and gain power, he keeps his senses. Your transformation makes controlling your senses hard and your anger out of control. I want you to still see me as Krom, second in command of the Saiyan army…like you’ve always seen me. I am not your teacher during this, I am your enemy. I want to see you attack me, try to ‘hurt’ me as much as you can. I’m after your brother and I’m going to tear him apart if I get to him”. Moving his feet he shifted into a fighting stance, staring down at Shu. “If you don’t want your brother dying, you will try and stop me as best as you can…”

Shu didn’t know why everyone was okay with this, there was no way he was supposed to be able to do this. Staring up at Krom he frowned and slowly crouched as he came closer, watching him as he spoke like a teacher and yet was forcing him into believing he was the enemy like still. He knew he was the bad guy, but a teacher was supposed to be a good person. Finding it hard to believe what he was saying he looked quickly to Takeshi before back again, frowning fearfully. So he was going to have to protect Takeshi, according to Krom. Raising his arms slowly he stared at Krom, really hoping he wasn’t actually going to try and kill Takeshi. As Krom moved into a fighting stance he squeaked, shaking on the spot before gasping when Krom decided to make a move. Having a moment where he found himself unable to move he quickly decided himself to make a sudden leap at Krom, trying to stop him from getting near Takeshi. Unfortunately it seemed harder than he thought as Krom immediately moved away from his jump, forcing Shu to turn around immediately and jump again but was immediately dodged once more. Feeling frightful, Shu jumped at Krom again this time going for the legs but Krom simply jumped up, kicking Shu in the back and causing him to fall on his face.
Cecil didn’t understand what was meant by ‘daddy’ and thought it was a name. It sounded like a name and she did say it a lot, but when she told him otherwise he felt confused and simply stared at her with concern. “Huh? Baldur? Uhh, I don’t-…umm…” He felt pretty confused by her questions, not feeling like he understood what any of these things she was trying to explain. ‘Parents’ was a foreign concept, but with how much Amuné went on about her ‘Daddy’ he did wonder what he was missing. It must’ve been an important aspect of their lives if they ended up looking like these ‘parents’, but then that kind of stuff seemed outside his understanding. He didn’t know how some people could influence how someone else appeared, not unless people were somehow made too. They certainly came in all sorts of sizes while his kind probably did not. He did wonder what other Machina were like, he hadn’t exactly seen many others.

Trying to understand something like that had to come later, first he needed some stuff from Norman to feel he was capable of walking away from here comfortably. He was sure there was more he could ask for, but the stuff he requested was what he needed rather than what he could use in excess. Staring at Norman after giving his request he frowned when he couldn’t give the information he needed, looking down at himself as he tried to think of another way to phrase it. Looking into his coding for something would make him feel better, but there must’ve been something he knew just from looking at him. “Uhh, yes…tune-up first. I-I just wanted to know, that’s all. I don’t want to return to my place of origin to find it out”.

Figuring he needed to go back to the same place he was before he moved closer to the table, staring at it for a moment before climbing onto it and sitting on the edge. Maybe he could still get some information from him through other thought processes, some other way he could question his function to this man and maybe find something out. Trying to think through it and how to question it properly he looked away for a moment before slowly looking back to Norman. “You…know a lot about Machina though, right? Then, uhh, what would you say…is the function of my hands? What function do my legs serve other than walking?”
Viral was already annoyed with Vegeta, hearing him practically say he was being silly for worrying over his heart. “You’re not me, don’t get all ‘trainer’ on me!” he grunted in annoyance, “I’ve had my heart nearly fail more than once and I’m not having it happen again!” He didn’t even know why he was bothering to give Vegeta any concerns about his health if they were just going to have them dismissed for him being silly. It was really just a case of getting through the exercises then, just to show he could do it. If he could get through it all without giving up then maybe Vegeta would take his complaints a little more serious. Getting through the first two push-ups not too badly he looked to Vegeta who decided to give him even more, giving him an angry look before going ahead with the extra push-ups. There was a little bit of strain behind it and his heart was always on his mind with the thought of mortality not too far behind him. Feeling a slight strain on the last few he soon stopped and rolled over onto his back, starting his crunches. “…You know, I don’t know why you’re not doing this too…”

Kiton wasn’t going to let Sasha or him get in trouble for this if this guy was coming along, seeing how he could blame this guy instead who was highly encouraging it. He didn’t see a problem with saying it was this guy who wanted to take him out. Looking over to Sasha when she gave him a prod he frowned before letting out a sigh, shaking his head. He could be one if he wanted to be, seeing how he was being forced into everything despite his caution. Looking up to Leto he stared at him as he decided to name off whatever Uunoue had to offer he just felt confused, gasping when he suddenly pointed at him. Looking to his finger he frowned, letting out a sigh and waving his hand. “Have you ever been to a space station? The places are full of different aliens, even space ports are full of different things like that. It’s no big deal”, he sighed, looking away, “You don’t need to be living on a planet to see stuff like that. What’s the big deal about that?”

Krom wasn’t wanting to have Shu change into a monster while they were training only to have him be unable to change back. If they were going to use their anger to bring out their potential then Shu changing would only make things worse. Staring at Takeshi as he tried to offer what he could as an answer he folded his arms, hardly looking impressed. “And you’re expected to do that in the heat of battle if he turns on you?” he asked him before sighing, “You two need to learn how to work in harmony if you’re going to be great warriors, you know”. Hearing Takeshi offer to take responsibility for the kid he grinned, quite happy to hand the responsibilities of the kid completely to him. “Good. The thing is, we’ll only assist if you lose control. You understand? Unless you’re in mortal danger, I suppose. Now, are you and your brother prepared for this even after all of these precautions? You will be challenged and you will feel pain. I’ll be addressing your friends too whenever you’re not being trained until Shu has some level of control, even if we have to resort to more desperate measures…”
Cecil really didn’t want to be a bother to anyone and to have these people being all held up because he wanted something made him wonder if they were going to regret bringing him into their little group in the first place. He was sure Amuné and Ethan were regretting taking him after being forced into this, but he did hope to make it up to them later even if he didn’t understand how. Staring at Amuné as she tried to give him her reassurances that it was fine he smiled a little as his mind went over what she was trying to say so he could break it into pieces he’d understand. “Standing up for myself? It is pretty important…” he spoke, thinking over it for a moment, “…I do really need it. It sure is an interesting thing to say. Does Daddy know a lot about these things?”

He still didn’t really understand who ‘Daddy’ was but they sounded wise enough. He didn’t really want to think about himself when everything so far had been for him, but everyone seemed so supportive. They all wanted him to get this done, but he didn’t know if it would bring convenience to them as well if he was functioning properly. They could go on their journey without him if he was causing a lot of problems, but thankfully they didn’t seem to be wanting to go anywhere. Looking down at himself for a moment he looked to Norman when he gave a little list of what he was going to do for him, even offering up anything else he needed. There didn’t appear to be a limit on what he could ask for so it certainly appeared to be free reign in what he would want.

“I don’t know what a princess is, so I don’t see why it should be considered a big deal when she has shown she is capable of protecting herself”, he spoke quickly to Norman, Giving Nymira a quick glance, “I do not know why it is an act that deserves a reward, but I do want this. I want more than that too. You said anything I need, well I need a lot”. He wasn’t going to have this be just another tune-up, there was a variety of things he wanted and just now was the best time to take it. If he was given whatever he wanted, then he was going to get everything he needed. “I-I want all of that, but I also want a tank of oil! I don’t want to be running out again anytime soon. I also want you to check what my function is, you know…why I’m made like this? It’s probably in my code somewhere, right? In an information booklet or something, maybe? I just have questions and I don’t know how to answer them, that’s all”.
Upon heading up to the surface, the thought of dread and worry was soon replaced by a sense of child-like excitement again as the sounds and air of the town filled his senses. He was brought back to memories of his father taking him to the town while he traded and having days where they went for the festivals, all pleasant and happy days when things were fairly normal. He was able to get away from the bullies in the village and even though there was sometimes people looking at him because of his skin colour he in return had little care for that when the whole day was often filled with happiness. He got to dress up sometimes, he bought his first instrument and got to eat the local food whenever he had spare rupees; however, even with all this happiness everywhere he was not allowed to take part in any of it. Even if he went to the stalls he usually visited when he was in the town, nobody would recognise him. Other times he would be happy he was not being looked at, but to be unable to talk to people he knew or interact with anyone could only make him feel depressed as he wondered when he wouldn’t be considered ‘wanted’ anymore.

It was kind of sad, really. Every other incarnation of him before had probably been praised by the people for standing up for them and fighting against the evil that plagued their land, but the people here knew no better. Even if he was normal and talked to people he knew there was no doubt that they would get nervous, tell him to run and hide or possibly turn him in. Looking around briefly as they walked along, he was desperately looking for any signs of his father just in case he happened to be here today, but sadly there was nothing. He wouldn’t mind going back to Kakariko Village to see him, but unfortunately they had other pressing matters to get to and personal visits wasn’t one of them.

As they made their way along with Regol taking the lead he kept his head low whenever there was nobody around, only looking up at what he wished he could interact with. It was a rather depressing state of existence, but Caelan seemed happy enough to go along and give his positive input. Looking up to him with a rather sorry expression he frowned, looking away with a shake of his head. “He tried to kill me several times. He’s just here to benefit himself”, he muttered, sighing lightly, “Not that I shouldn’t be surprised. Everyone wants to kill me. I’m just here to be targeted and to play out some sort of destiny I have no control over…well, I thought I had control over, but…now…hmm, I don’t want it. This control isn’t all it’s cracked up to be when it means I can’t help anyone or do anything while I have it”.
Cecil didn’t want his decision to be based on his increased need to be seen to and hopefully optimised a little better. He was sure that was just a way to get him to agree with whatever Norman and Nymira wanted, causing him to feel used and less than capable of making a decision without it. He wanted to make his decision not based upon what he needed, but what everyone else needed and unfortunately that didn’t seem possible. Greatly disliking the situation he was placed in he frowned when Amuné only managed to make it much more difficult. “But-…but I don’t want that to be part of my decision…”

Feeling rather put off by the whole notion of having this massive decision resting on whether he wanted to be seen to or not he stepped away and tried to isolate himself from their decisions. Not really willing to say whether it was a yes or a no. He didn’t know who this woman was or even what was so important about her being a ‘princess’ or whatever they were calling her, she didn’t even care about his existence. She didn’t so much as look at him or talk to him like she was talking and looking at everyone else, she didn’t even ask him his name. If she didn’t think he mattered enough to get to know then she wasn’t going to get a vote from him, even if it probably didn’t matter what he said anyway.

As Ethan questioned her intentional direction she did come back with a rather hasty and immediate response, telling them it essentially didn’t matter if they didn’t want to take her. The thought that this was his doing was coming back all over again, knowing the job had been taken because he needed to pay off the battery. The way she fussed over this and try to force them into this made him wish they never agreed to take up the job, but there was no way to step out of it now it seemed. She was going on about a whole load of stuff that he just didn’t understand like social status and the mention of a clan, making him wonder why they didn’t just go with the whole paying for it thing instead.

With the woman pretty much thoroughly forced into their group through her own will he lowered his head depressively, finding it hard to understand her intentions and how it would affect their group. Amuné and Ethan seemed to like him fine enough, but this woman was not nice and probably didn’t want to get to know any of them properly. This was going to ruin things for them and he would probably be on his own again if she forced the group apart because of her attitude or different intentions. He just wanted to get to the city, but she was currently not willing to give them any information as to why she wanted to go with them and where she was going. Looking to Ethan when he mentioned his tune-up he stared at him for a moment before sighing, lowering his head into a brief nod. “I want it, but I still stand by saying I didn’t want it to be part of the decision we were making. I don’t wish to hold us up any longer, either”.
“How am I supposed to know how it’s working? All I know is I can feel it beating and it’s really not comfortable”. Viral wasn’t very confident when it was his body that was reacting to the change of gravity, but then again he was now weighing twice his usual and that would probably place a fair bit of stress on his inner workings when it was something he wasn’t used to. He did wonder if his body was going to be able to handle this or whether it was too damaged from near to no self-regeneration. He wanted to be able to do this without having to give up in the first five minutes, but it seemed his body was against such ideas. Rubbing his chest, he stared down before his eyes went to Vegeta who was giving his pulse a check, looking at him as if ready to push him away for getting so close. He would’ve liked a quick warning before he did that, even if it was for his health. When things seemed okay despite his heart having a bit of a jumping moment, the suggestion to try some push-ups being passed on for now. Sighing, he slowly went on his knees, easing into a push-up rather than going straight into it. He knew the risks and didn’t want to show off or look like he was trying to impress Vegeta by going into it too fast. The weight he was feeling was similar to having himself sitting on his shoulders, but he was still able to pull a push-up off without too much strain. “…What else since these are…not a big problem…”

Kiton didn’t really know if he was making up excuses to stop this man from coming or if he really was worried that he was going to get spotted easier, but this man was very adamant either way. He was worried that his loud behaviour was going to give them away, but that was more of an inconvenience to Sasha it seemed as she immediately turned the argument against having this guy into one centred around his own appearance; sure, his appearance was pretty obvious in a crowd but at least he didn’t tower over everyone like this guy. Letting out a groan, he looked to Leto who decided to bark out his words instead of actually speaking properly much to his annoyance. He was going to alert everyone of their presence. “Oh great then. Thanks for the reassurance”, he muttered, finding him most annoying already. His happy attitude only forced through ill feelings that related back to heroes who thought they were better than ‘lowly criminal scum’ like himself. Feeling rather annoyed he soon began to walk after Leto, giving Sasha an annoyed look as if this was her doing before looking ahead again. “What, like food and buildings and whatever? Like every city”.

Shu didn’t like how Krom was talking about him or how any of this was going, sounding like he was going to end up transforming and constantly losing control. Takeshi was probably going to be subject to a lot of this and he didn’t know how to help prevent that as if to prove Krom and Aito wrong. He had to be stronger than he thought he was, but he didn’t know how he was supposed to prove that when everyone doubted him. Squeaking when the mention of changing him back came up he looked to Takeshi hopefully, raising his shoulders before looking away again as he shuffled his feet. “Am I going to change for this…?”

Krom glanced to the kid before grunting, shrugging. “Maybe, but seeing as how your brother can’t even recall how he got you to change back, it might be a little tricky to train you under your anger”, he spoke, rubbing his chin before smirking, “The idea is to try and release both of your full potentials and unfortunately for you, your potential is when you’re an angry little monkey-boy! If you can grasp hold of that primal rage without changing then that’s great, problem is your claws and teeth are pretty effective at wounding those creatures”. He didn’t know how much more ‘monkey’-like Shu was going to get or how that aspect of him worked, seeing how Yamate was probably still trying to see himself how his little experiment went. It was a little strange how his genes switched dominance like that through his emotions, but he didn’t know how to experiment with that to see how far it could go. He’d probably get yelled at by Aito for being curious, but it wasn’t his fault that the kid was going to be harder to train than his brother. “So, either you remember how to calm him down or he’s sitting out until you remember. Not unless you want to deal with your brother before I have to knock him out again. It takes time to calm a wild animal and on the first go it just seems too risky…”
Cecil really didn’t know what else to say towards their words, feeling conflicted over his own feelings and what they were trying to tell him. He had been told he had done wrong, but now it was apparently alright and everything was good. Finding it all too confusing he looked to Amuné, staring at her as she questioned his arm. “Huh? I-…” But sure enough her attention was gone from him once again, not knowing whether to answer her or dismiss it. It had all been on instinct, not finding it very easy to think of a how he managed to do it quite yet. Frowning, he looked back to Amuné who seemed to be praising him as well, feeling rather surprised by her choice of words. “Brave? That was strength? Bravery?” he spoke, trying to analyse what happened to try and come to the correct conclusion to whether it really was bravery and strength that he displayed. Going back on the analysis, it was definitely an odd display to be named ‘brave’ and a show of strength, not unless trying to capture the woman from afar was as such.

Feeling confused the entire way they came back he continued to try and figure out what was meant by all that and whether it was correct to say those things about what had been done. He couldn’t come to a reasonable conclusion but maybe those thoughts were already over for them and they had moved on from their thought processes without him. While this was probably of no surprise, he did feel a little behind like everyone was quite happy to move on and not give anything a second thought while he was stuck trying to figure out how he should feel about everything that was happening. Being back at Norman’s shop he sighed lightly now that their quest had been completed, feeling like he could knock that one worry away.

Keeping back and out of the way, he watched Norman and Nymira before gasping when there was instead violence, wondering if they had done the right thing now. This kind of interaction had only been seen where a fight was attempting to start, namely when he was trying to get away from that man in the other town. Feeling confused and alerted, he raised his hands a little as if imitating Norman as if something was going to attack him as well. When things were gradually dying down he had no idea what to even make of the discussion considering the words and phrases that were being used, not understanding what a ‘princess’ was. Was that her species or was it a job? Slowly tilting his head as he tried to take in all the information he quickly shook his head, finding the conclusion of the tale to be most uninteresting to his own existence considering it was all in the past and gone now: they had done their job, she was back out of harm’s way.

There was still other matters to attend to and things he wanted, but before any questions could be given Norman was back to asking them a favour. He was confused by this one, but what was worse was he was being used as a bargaining chip. To get seen to was what he needed, but to have it be placed on the counter with this made him feel pretty rotten. This was not fair, he needed to be seen to among other things but the only way to get them was to get in on this favour. Looking to Ethan, he frowned when it seemed it was something that had to be considered and discussed. This should be the time where he would speak up to Norman about throwing in that extra at the end, wanting to tell him how much it hurt his feelings that he was doing that when he desperately needed it. “He is using me in this. Why am I part of the deal?” he questioned Ethan, not understanding the concept of whispering, “I don’t want to be used. I don’t want to be part of the decision. He knows I would want a tune-up, but I don’t want to only say yes because it is what I want”.
