T’charrl gave Yumi a little smile before he let out a sigh, lowering his head. “I guess I have done all of those things. I guess I just don’t know how to feel when nobody else I know from my homeworld knows what it’s like to go into Space. It’s one of these new things that just seems so…out there to me”. It was a little scary, that was for sure, but other than that he really didn’t know how to cope. Maybe he should try talking to someone about it, like asking if he could call his parents or something like that. He had been struggling to cope with the massive change in his life since the day it all started, but he rarely ever talked about it because of many reasons regarding confidence. Staring at Yumi he smiled a little as she gave him some reassurance that he will be allowed to talk to his parents, or at least try to talk to them. “Ohh really? That would be really nice…ohhh but, if they see me like this, they’ll get really upset”, he frowned, moving a hand to his antennae, “Maybe I should wait until I look better…”

Viral was certainly a little annoyed at him being the constant subject in conversations and denouncing his entire past for now was certainly the correct turn for him to take at this time. He was going to be caring very little about his past as well, all it managed to do was depress him considering how much of his life he had wasted being unable to do anything, the rest of it consisting of him being tested on and subject to scientific torture. Whoever would want to hear about that kind of stuff would be the type to enjoy hearing about other people’s misery, otherwise he was just existing because he was not fulfilling his purpose and why he was made in the first place. Having Takeshi drop the subject was good enough for now, but seeing how he was wanting to have him break a building only managed to raise a few questions regarding Takeshi’s output when he wasn’t around.

“Relax? You relax by smashing things…” Viral muttered staring at the building before sighing in annoyance. Takeshi really was out of control and it certainly seemed to be he was trying to encourage violence. Everybody was wanting him to be violent today, it seems, then again he did still want to punch Takeshi in the face even after his violence was discouraged. Looking up at the building he sighed in annoyance before staring down at the short natives as Takeshi talked to them. He really didn’t see why he was being made to work again, but maybe he might get something from this that he didn’t get while smashing rocks with severe weakness.

With the Uuonians seemingly content with handing the job over he gave them a glare as they didn’t so much as give them a thanks, looking about ready to punch them in just for their lack of manners. Coming close to raging at them he instead turned to Takeshi, growling lowly before looking to the building. “You’re even a tool to complete strangers”, he spoke, looking down at the hammer before he picked it up for himself, taking it in one hand, “If you want to see this place pummelled to dust without me just crushing the building with Enki, then I’m using this. If you want to be a savage then go right ahead!” Viral knew it was best to destroy the building from the top floor down, seeing how going for the bottom floor would just mean one of them would be crushed eventually. Walking forward a little he soon bent down before suddenly leaping at the building, taking the hammer in both hands and swinging it in front of him at the stray piece of wall to let himself in.

Shu was fair ready to do whatever it took to have fun today, feeling like he deserved at least a little bit before he might end up getting all depressed again as he remembered the inevitable. It was nice to be with T’charrl even if he was clearly struggling, at least for a little while before he should go and rest or something. Smiling up at Yumi he looked back when she did to see Viral and Takeshi was gone too. Tilting his head he looked up to Yumi again, bouncing on his toes a little. “Ooh! Takeshi take Mister Viral?” he squeaked before he heard a loud bang, his eyes quickly looking around as he held onto T’charrl’s claws with both hands, “Was that weapon?? I don’t like bangs!”
Viral turned back to Takeshi, giving him a glare as he tried to be cute about it. He was very annoying and it was only getting worse from here, certainly managing to really get on his nerves with all this chatter. “I only said that because you an arrogant moron! There’s nothing interesting about me, that’s it”. Just when Takeshi probably couldn’t get any more annoying he proceeded to try and hold onto his hand, snapping back at him angrily while looking particularly insulted. As Takeshi soon started his quick apology he growled lowly, narrowing his eyes before grunting, looking away. “Tch! I’m not a show off like you. I’ve just been on a lot of medicine”. Well Takeshi was being particularly annoying today so that wasn’t helping. He didn’t want to have to be walking around with him all day if this was going to be the case. He didn’t even understand why they wanted to come and see him, seeing how they all did was just standing around asking what he wanted to do whenever they were around him.

T’charrl was pretty alright with hanging around all these people if he had to, finding it to be pretty nice even if things were pretty tense between Takeshi and Viral. He didn’t want to get in the way of all that anger, knowing Viral was carrying around a lot of it. He could feel it emanating from him and knew he had to keep out of the way of that. Maybe the guy really was that stressed out or just trying to hide something like he very often did himself. Looking to Yumi as she talked to him he gave her a smile, looking to his arm quickly before sighing, shaking his head. “Ohhh uhh…maybe. I mean I haven’t really accomplished anything since leaving. I just wonder what everyone else thinks of me”. He didn’t mind if he was away from his parents for a long time, he wanted to accomplish something before he went back again. He would have to make sure his planet was still alright, but regarding its location and hidden status it should be fine.

Oh great, now he was worrying over nothing. He knew his planet was going to be fine and even told himself that just now, yet he was still having panic attacks over everything suddenly going sour over there. Staring at the ground for a moment he quickly snapped back to Yumi, staring at her for a little bit as he thought about it. “I…don’t think I need to go home immediately. I mean…I can contact my parents at any time. My planet has been okay for a very long time and I don’t see anything changing in the future. Even if I sometimes get big and wild, I still am the most useful here with friends”.

Viral was keeping quiet for now, even though he was rather angry at Takeshi’s stupidity and typically arrogance. He was fine with walking along and not caring for what he was supposed to be doing. Keeping his head low as he walked he sighed in annoyance when Takeshi was having a chatter with himself. Glancing momentarily away he frowned when he was instead nudged, rather hoping he wouldn’t be the one who would grab Takeshi’s attention. Groaning he slowly turned to look at what he was seeing, frowning at the sight of it. “What? You just really love destroying things...” he grumbled, not understanding what fun Takeshi saw in doing something like that, “I’m not operating that machine if that’s what you’re getting at! I can’t throw around Ki like you…”
Viral turned to Takeshi and frowned, staring at him as he came up with his explanation. He didn’t think he was particularly interesting so why Takeshi wanted to know about him just made him confused. “I don’t know why you would want to get to know me only now. Even then, I am nothing interesting”, he spoke, shrugging lightly, “Everything you know about me is literally everything there is to know about me”. Even if there was more to him he didn’t think there would be anyone who would ever be interested in it. It just wasn’t like he was being depressive or anything, just his life consisted of helping Vegeta grow up without his parents, be ignored for a couple more years after that and then they met him. Everything else was something he wasn’t particularly wanting to say, mainly because it was probably incredibly uninteresting.

It was probably more embarrassing to say he didn’t know what to do. He just wasn’t used to having freedom like this and was immediately trying to shove the decisions onto someone else. He hardly say it as fair that he was always having to make many suggestions regarding what gets done. He did feel like speaking up about it from time to time, but if he did that he would probably be seen as too much of a recluse and will probably look pretty pathetic at the same time. It wasn’t helping that they continuously made him the decision maker. When June mentioned she wasn’t that hungry he growled lowly before looking to Yumi, relieved that she wasn’t actually asking him what he wanted to do again. If they ever found out he was completely socially inept they would probably all have a good laugh at it for a long time. Watching as everyone was getting ready to leave he looked to Takeshi in annoyance before growing at his little quip, looking like he was close to tearing Takeshi’s face off. “Don’t you dare try to push me or you’re ending your day with more than a sore nose!”

Shu had been sitting grooming T’charrl’s arms while all this was going on, being quite occupied with trying to find anything that might make T’charrl itchy. Hearing that they had everything settled and were possibly leaving now. Takeshi and Viral still didn’t appear to have everything sorted, but at least it was a start. Looking up to Yumi when she walked over to them he smiled and helped T’charrl stand as well, hoping he would feel better soon so they could play rough and tumble again. “Ooh! Where go? What in this place can Shu do?” he squeaked, holding T’charrl’s claw, “We no slow! We just no know where to go. Friend T’charrl still all hurt, remember?”
Viral didn’t see any reason to be soft towards Takeshi and to give him any special treatment just because he had known him for so long, but when Takeshi just seemed to be unable to come up with a reason that was coherent he felt like giving up, getting frustrated as he was starting to wonder what was the drive behind this. He wasn’t dying so Takeshi wasn’t talking to him because of that, nor was he in any special position that meant he needed a heart to heart discussion. It confused him to the point that he was really wondering if he was trying to hide something from him or if he really was trying to make him go soft. It was so confusing, especially when he had never been spoken to in such a manner before. “Who would want to know me a little bit better? That’s what I don’t get!”

He just didn’t feel he was interesting enough to warrant people wanting to get to know him better. He didn’t have a fulfilling life like the rest, he spent a majority of his life locked up and having random tests conducted on him. Looking to Yumi he disliked the way she was talking almost immediately, staring at her before he groaned and looked away. “Enjoy the day…some enjoyable day it’s been”, he mumbled as he folded his arms. He wasn’t comfortable with talking about himself anyway, so whatever worked for him. He was pretty annoyed with how everything had been going today, but maybe that was the goal of today for everyone else. Everyone was just making him so angry, sometimes to the point of him nearly losing it. He didn’t know how he was going to manage around these people, especially when his anger was still so out of control with no real vent. “What? I’m not even supposed to be here”, he spoke in annoyance, finding it rather irritating that they had come to find him only to not know what to do now that Takeshi nearly had his face broken. “June was wanting lunch, so why not go and get her something…”
Cecil didn’t really know when he would feel better, he was probably not going to feel better until much later in the day but it all depended on if the weather held up. He was confident he would be feeling up to scratch just so long as he was given the chance. It was difficult feeling like this, as if your entire existence was at stake all because you used a little more energy than you probably should had. Staring at Amuné as it was soon time to move he watched as she took his hand, or at least what she could take of his hand. He didn’t know what this was, he was capable of walking himself so being lead down seemed like a strange occurrence. He was certainly not complaining about it, he quite liked it since it was one of the only instances of someone touching him willingly without it being to move him around because he had broken down. It felt nice, like something he had experienced but couldn’t remember when.

With everything else being sorted and the animals and camping gear remaining fairly intact, the most that could be done was to pack up and go again on their journey. It sure was good that they left their stuff alone, even if it was a little mucky but hardly a problem. He couldn’t really help with anything himself, he wasn’t sure if it was possible anyway since it would mean he would have to use energy to move stuff around and just lose whatever he had managed to gather. It did make him feel bad, even if it wasn’t his fault. He wasn’t sure entirely why he was able to do that stuff in the first place anyway, he was just using energy that he wasn’t supposed to use so it certainly seemed like a fair large flaw in his design. He really should try to find some answers quick, at least before he went to the city. He didn’t even know why he was heading there, but he was fairly sure it was for something positive when he felt such a massive urge to go there.

It wasn’t long before they were finally on their way and taking rest in the cart he did some casual maintenance on himself. He was starting to run low on organic matter to keep his joints clean and his innards running well, making use of ash to do these things. It wasn’t as if these things were hard to get so he never really had a problem but the most he could do was ask if he could pretend-eat to collect some. He was quite happy to have so much oil now, he was feeling a lot safer regarding his health.

As he concentrated on making minor adjustments to his legs and cleaning the dirt off his feet he looked up when he heard his name, staring at Nymira curiously. “W-What? I don’t understand…” he spoke, only wondering what he had missed. He wasn’t really used to having people talk to him yet. He was left completely confused but it surely was best to just go back to cleaning himself up if they were going to talk amongst each other. Cecil knew he didn’t have much to say in return as well, he was pretty much the least social of them all because of what he was. Despite his absent-mindedness he did gasp when Amuné did suddenly shout out, his eyes going to her quickly to see what was going on only to see it was probably nothing. He was really missing a whole lot because of the way he functioned and it was beginning to make him feel a little alienated.
Edit:
@Mogtaki I am disappointed that Cecil had no response to Amune taking his hand. =/

He will in my current post, it's a case of "how do I write in detail about hand holding and walking" without it ending up being only a paragraph D:
If there was one thing that annoyed Viral it was when Takeshi decided to twist the subject onto himself, trying to come up with the right way to approach his issues by making it all about him instead. It made him pretty angry but he wasn’t going to blow up about it during a time like this. He was trying to give Takeshi a chance to explain himself and find out if he was being honest, not just spewing out words to try and make everything better. Staring at him as he continued to blab about himself he soon frowned and folded his arms. Takeshi was an idiot, that much didn’t really change. If any of it was supposed to make him feel better then Takeshi certainly didn’t know much about making it up to someone. Oh well, if Takeshi didn’t want to learn anything about him only to turn the topic around so it was about him then he wasn’t going to bother talking about himself anymore.

Looking away for a moment he only decided to look back to Takeshi when he went ahead and try to make everything better, but it only managed to confuse him. He didn’t think he wanted to do any of that for a right reason or to protect himself, he just wanted them gone for being a disgrace. The only times he was thinking about others when battling was by throwing himself into the fire completely, sacrificing himself for them all even if it didn’t work. Doing such a thing didn’t make him a good person either and what was worse was he didn’t even know what he was going to do with himself after his treatment was done with. “Protecting someone or something…hmph, that’ll certainly be a change. Everyone can protect themselves nowadays”.

Feeling like he was getting nowhere at this point it was Yumi who decided to speak up about the matter, turning to her with a frown. She certainly defined it better than Takeshi did, but even then he still felt confused over it. So someone could hate the other, but so long as they had something in common they could be friends? “Such a complicated matter, it seems. If that’s the case then I don’t know what friendship means to me”, he spoke as he folded his arms, staring down at the ground, “I don’t have hobbies, I don’t care for much and believing in something isn’t anything I can think of. You would think after all those years I would find a hobby. Even when I was allowed to do very little, I still could had found a hobby…” Just getting annoyed at himself now he tried to stop thinking about the pointless waste that was his life, unable to understand why he was so concerned about it. Maybe he had spent too much time being around these people instead of battling, it was only ruining whatever personality he might’ve had before without thinking up unnecessary concerns. Growling lowly he soon huffed, waving his paw. “Why am I even having this pointless talk with you people?? Are you trying to get me to go soft?? Just typical…”
Viral still wasn’t convinced that Takeshi really thought of him as a friend when it was obvious he was fairly well set on only admiring him for his strength. It was rather discouraging and definitely managed to make him annoyed, but at least Takeshi was trying. He didn’t think much of his strength, he was highly aware that just because he was strong didn’t mean he would always win. He would lose when he was blasted away and unable to fight or stabbed and incapacitated. There was literally no need to tell him that he would win because he was strong, he knew he had never won a fight because of it. To have Takeshi think that was the reason he should be winning certainly made him feel inadequate, like the fact his strength continued to fail him in battle.

Not feeling convinced that he was going to be able to get beyond seeing his strength as something better than it actually was he did ask Takeshi if there was anything else he might find to be the appeal behind wanting to be his friend. There had to be something other than admiring him for his strength. It wasn’t only him trying to understand how Takeshi functioned, it was also trying to understand what friendship meant to one another when it wasn’t something he was already fully aware of in the first place. He wasn’t feeling convinced so far though, hearing how Takeshi even sounded confused over his own wording. “So there’s not that many qualities that would regard me as a friend? Do Humans really need that little a reason to be friends with someone? Hmph, a hasty decision…”

While he wasn’t feeling entirely convinced he continued to let Takeshi continue to try and explain himself, further questioning his intentions and why he felt this way. Thinking of him as the same was a little strange, but there was probably more than that. Hearing him out he stared at him before narrowing his eyes, disliking what he was calling him before he let out a sigh. “Good guys? Bad guys? Like that sort of crap exists! I’ve killed my fair share in the past, I levelled entire settlements in the past. For all those years I spent forgotten at Capsule Corps all I could do was watch and listen to the news of people killing one another and the atrocities that they continued to commit! I wanted to kill them so badly and make them suffer for their actions. Is that what you would call a good guy for wanting to kill without a care? Even I don’t know. They’re not the same as me, so I feel no empathy for them. Hmph, I don’t even know the meaning of friendship and here I am demanding the answer from you…”
Viral was waiting for Takeshi to say what he had to say, but he wouldn’t be surprised if Takeshi couldn’t come up with anything after that. He was annoyed at him for ever thinking it was okay to treat him like he was nothing but something to train with. If Takeshi was going to apologise he better to it right, otherwise he was going to get right back to hitting him. While he was talking, he wasn’t saying what he was hoping to get out of him and was simply sounding like he was apologising so that he might be able to do the same thing all over again. It was hardly what he was expecting from Takeshi, but it was also not what he wanted to hear either if this was going to be a one-time apology.

Feeling like he was always going to be in last place was probably something Takeshi couldn’t fix, but the most he could do was force him to understand why he felt the way he did. He was angry at himself for being unable to keep up but Takeshi certainly had a knack for making it worse by setting standards for him all the time. He was constantly pushed to make everything seem worse and it had just got to be enough for him. Not feeling convinced he did tell Takeshi how he felt, but whether he would understand was another question. Staring at him as he spoke he narrowed his eyes, not being able to see past all those words as just an attempt at flattery. There was always a ‘would have’ rather than a definite with these scenarios, especially when they never did play out. Getting annoyed about that already he kept his eyes off Takeshi, only looking back when it tone changed. Staring at him as he made another attempt to try and flatter him he sighed instead, running his hair through his fingers. “…To have strength is one thing, but it was never strength I was using when I was fighting”, he spoke, looking away again, “You always talk about strength like it is the single most important element in battle. It doesn’t matter how physically strong you are. If you are mentally stricken, you cannot win. I find it harder to believe in myself with every loss and your constant analysis of my strength hardly aided matters. Do you even think of me as anything more than pure strength as a reason for me to be called your friend?”
Cecil had acted like he was completely gone for a very long time, his energy levels being kept at a near minimum as he remained in sleep mode. He was non-responsive for the entire time with the only movement he ever gave was the occasional flick of his finger in response to noise. He could feel nothing during his sleep mode and even as the sun hit him for the first time as it rose beyond the horizon he didn’t so much as make a move to show he was still functioning. To him all he could feel was the surrounding environment, whether there was any danger and depending on how deep his sleep mode was he could react; thankfully, nothing happened to pull him out of it with little danger that he would act out of character and try hurting those around him.

As everyone was starting to wake up it wasn’t long into the day that Cecil started to power up again, coming out of his stillness and into reality again he slowly sat up but kept quiet, staring out into nothing for a good moment he soon started moving if only to hold his legs close to his chest. He still had the same thought process as he had during the night, but he was trying to get his mind around his purpose while also trying to forget about it and just to keep going. His goal was to keep going and he had to, even if it was going to be difficult.

As everyone was waiting around for Ethan he sat quietly by himself, taking in whatever he could to feel more energised. He had a variety of ways to restore power, his last battery was just too far gone for that. He really had to think about what happened there. If they really intended for him to be a combat Machina, his previous battery’s life must’ve been only to last a short while as if they never intended for him to be running for so long or for him to have massive bursts of energy immediately after production only for them to take him away again and do it all over. It made him feel worried about his purpose, even if he didn’t fully know what that meant.

Sitting by himself he didn’t hear Ethan approach at first, his eyes only going up to him as he heard him speak about his battery. Looking up to him briefly he soon looked down again, rubbing his chest before he sighed. “A little, I mean…umm…” he paused before frowning, his eyes going to the ground before up to Amuné. Everything seemed to be okay with everyone, only problem was they were still missing everything they had bought. Looking down again he soon looked up to Ethan, smiling a little. “I’ll be okay. I just need a little bit to get back to a better level. Norman’s new battery is really great, but its recharge is still a little slow at this time in the day. I’ll be better by sundown”.
