Bio

Hey guys I'm Morpheus, but you can call me morph for short. I love RPing, playing video games, reading, trying to draw and learning how to animate. I'm 22 years old and still have a long life ahead of me, why not spend some of it making ideas for fun RPs! :D

Imagine, if you will, a city with skyscrapers that reach the clouds and streets that are always lined with cars and people going about their day to day errands. A dockyard importing and exporting cargo by boat to various destinations, and fishing boats rocking back and forth at the docks. A city where you can shop to your hearts content, win big or lose it all. An industrial section where cars go to be reborn or sent to the scrapheap. A place where you can dance your heart out in the grand nightclubs or put it through intense exercise at a gym. And all that is in a city fit for a king (figuratively). Now imagine, if you will, a city that gets a bit quieter at night, a city that though still has the surge of the nightlife, is silent, without a cry in the night or a gunshot blazing through the alleys. Wanna know why you don't hear that...the answer is pretty simple. It's because THEY are watching. For years, these groups kept their streets clean and make sure the people living in their territory were safe, happy and free. And they make sure anyone that dare try to disrupt that peace or put their people in danger, get their fucking face beaten the hell in. Welcome to Meridia, new blood. From this point forward, you're down with whoever you pledge your loyalty too, so make sure to keep your territory spic and span, your nose clean and you stay out of trouble...or there will be trouble. And if worse comes to worse, you better make sure you know how to hold your own, or this city will eat you alive. So enjoy your stay here in Meridia, because this place is going to change you, for better or worse.

So now with all the t's crossed and i's dotted, you are now ready (for real) to live here in Meridia and join a gang to protect whatever place you decide to call home. So get cozy, you'll be fine. Well...not too cozy mind you. I've been hearing rumors...about some new corporation coming into town. Metatron or something like that. I asked Stats to dig up some info and...I ain't liking what I'm seeing. Three towns this corporation made their mark in now look like something from a dystopian fiction. Aldendale, Varden and Whetstone are all corralled, controlled and if unruly...silenced. By who, I don't know. Stats says that the CEO, Warren Watts has a secret task force to do his bidding. And even worse, I've been hearing about gangs wanting to expand, whether the others allow them or not. And now the leaders are going to be meeting up at the top of Eliza tower to discuss about these rumors and hopefully squash them so things can go back to normal. So, please keep it cool and defend your turf, because now, you'll never know what's gonna happen.

I will set up the RP for Throw-down: Fight For Meridia (hope you like the name.) tomorrow. And hopefully get some more people interested.
Awesome!! :D
I have now updated the opening post with a bit of background for the RP. I hope you like it!! :D
So, I have been here for quite some time and I haven't even attempted to make an RP. Its about time I do it so I thought "why not make a gang based RP like the warriors." And here I am, wondering if there is anyone else interested in it. So if you are interested, that would be great. :D

The story:

Somewhere on the east coast lies a city, a metropolis called Meridia. To outsiders, this would look like your average bustling city, but to those living inside Meridia, know the truth. For inside this city, lies five districts, each one controlled by a gang, looking after their territory. The Knuckle Dusters, practitioners of bare knuckle boxing who controls the docks and the Eastern district. The sight of a Knuckles Duster golf cap and striped sweater was always followed by a swift right hook into the face. The Scarlet Dragons, the wielders of martial arts and the ones in control of West Meridia. Their uniforms always had a scarlet dragon emblazoned on them and if you crossed them, you would clearly know and you wont only be going with home with just your dignity being bruised or broken. The Wreckers, the undisciplined street fighters and runners of the industrial district or "Junker" district of Meridia. This group always sported worker jumpsuits or leather jackets and they always had a sign showing they belonged to their gang. sometimes a small ratchet, or other times, a large monkey wrench to bat fools around that dare piss them off. The Fierce Dancers, a name that unfortunately stuck to this group of capoeria fighters. Their powerful kicks made them a force to be reckoned with on the south side of Meridia. And finally the Tombstones, a gang that practice the art of wrestling. Known for nasty slams, painful grapples and their signature gang move, the tombstone, a pile-driver that could potentially put you six feet under. These five gangs control the city and keep their territory, and the people in it, safe. For years, they have existed in a uneasy but fair truce, though a few tried to advance their own territory and were met with extreme resistance, and were dealt with. But now a new threat rises that could put their territories and the city in trouble, and its name is Metatron Industries. Though the CEO, Warren Watts, talks about bringing the city to a brighter tomorrow, the gangs can easily see he just want control. And it shows in the other cities his corporation took over. Aldendale, Whetstone and Varden all show his handiwork, cities where people are kept in line, curfews are in effect and all talks of rebellion and freedom from oppression are silenced quickly. And now he has set his sights for Meridia to continue his expansion. And to make matters worse, rumors have been stirring through the grapevine about talks of opposing gangs wanting to expand through other territories and take them by force. People are now saying that a gang war is all but inevitable. Now their leaders are being called to silence the rumors and stirrings of war to bring back the peace they need to continue existing. But they all know that this will only be temporary, and that whatever happens from this point forward might possibly light the fuse and turn this city into a complete and total war-zone. Its only a matter of time...so you better be ready, because its going to be hell on earth.

The story had been set and many other story elements will be added as the tale progresses for the fate of Meridia itself.

Fighting one another will be settled through throwdown, a one on one match between two opposoing gangs to defend ones territory or ones honor, if need be. In a throwdown, emblems, which are handkerchiefs embroidered with your gangs emblem, will be thrown down to the ground to mark the beginning of the throwdown and if you win, you take back yours and the loser will leave theirs at the site of the throwdown as a warning to that gang to not step there anytime soon. And if you lose three of your emblems, you go down a rank.

Another way to fight, without a chance of losing your emblem, is through neutral zones, which will be a series of underground bars throughout the city. But the most notable one, Club 356 will be the nexus for all gangs to chat, spar and even discuss business deals for the leaders of the gangs.

Another element of this rp is that there are no cops around here, the gangs are the cops and they do a good job of keeping the streets clear.

If you want more information about this rp then go to the link at the bottom of the page and I will see you there!! :D
Guess I'll make another character that has a different skill set. :D
Hello, I was wondering if maybe I create a character that is a brawler type of character? Also if I could join as well?
Hello everyone, my name is Morpheus297. I'm just an average guy who likes video games, comics books, animation and role playing. I hope to have a great time here on this site and I wish all of you a wonderful day today, or night if it may be. :D
