Parquet Courts - Dust
Life is a gamble, at terrible odds. If it were a bet you wouldn’t take it. - The Player - Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead - Tome Stoppard

Name: Austin Savage
Alias: Whiplash
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Appearance:

Austin's most noticeable feature is his cobalt blue hair, something he's had since birth and as a result of his super lineage. Furthermore, the tribal flame-esque tattoos that cover his arms are also a result of this lineage, being more of a birth mark than an actual tattoo. These both only show up when he uses his powers, his hair is normally a dark black. He stands at a tall 6 foot 2, and has a fit physique leaning more towards skinny than muscular.
Superhero Outfit: Austin's superhero outfit is unconventional to say the least. He simply wears a rather extravagant pair of pointed red sunglasses, a pair of bandages around his wrists and a loose fitting pair of jogging trousers. Suffice to say, he aims more for practicality than style.
Weapons: Austin's main weapon is his samurai sword, something passed down throughout every generation of his family leading back to the shogun era. He sometimes brings a sandwich with him, but other than that he doesn't use much equipment.
Powers/Abilities: Austin's main ability is his speed, something which is unmatched by even cars used in the Grand Prix. His skills lay mostly in the use of his sword, along with a few hand to hand skills he's learned over the years. His speed also makes scaling buildings an ease.
Strengths: Almost unbreakable will, confidence unmatched by anyone, loyal to the end
Weaknesses: Foolhardy, arrogant in terms of ability, overestimates his own strength
Anything else:

Post brainwash Austin:

Name: Austin Savage - Believes name to be Brett Glukhovsky
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Appearance: Austin stands at a slightly taller 6 foot 3 now due to the added muscle he has gained during his transformation. He is a lot more bulky now, focusing on strength rather than speed. His hair has been modified to be naturally blonde and to also disable it changing to blue when his power is in use. Furthermore, his tattoos no longer appear when his power is in use. The most notable change about him are the body parts surgically grafted to him. His forearm, chest and half of his face are all a sickly shade of green. He's been told that over time they will regain their fleshy colour but as of right now they maintain a zombie esque look to them. He also now wears glasses, he has been brainwashed into believing that he needs them, simply to make him stray farther from the truth.
Usual Clothing: Other than his glasses, Austin wears a pair of jeans with a belt, military boots and an open sleeveless jacket.
Weapons: Austin now carries a revolver and a pistol along with a combat knife.
Powers/Abilities: While his former powers are still present, they are locked away behind brainwashing. He now only believes in the powers that were given to him by the surgery. He is able to store kinetic energy and then release it through his grafted hand, lift objects as heavy as about 10 tonnes and take a lot more hits. Skill wise, he is now trained in a very military style and possess many techniques pertaining to this.
Strengths: He is now ruthless and efficient, able to dispatch enemies without even a thought.
Weaknesses: He has forgotten who he once was, he can be brought back, but it will take something close to a miracle.
Short Bio: (Optional)
Anything else:
So, I may have forgotten, but have we actually established what season it is? For all we know it could be summer and Germany can get hot af in the summer.
Conrat was confused to say the least. He knew what a bank was, but he couldn't fathom a bank for the entirety of Europe. Did everyone have to travel to Germany to use it? What about the Britons? Did they just not use banks? What was the point of a bank anyway? Who has enough money to keep it lying around?

What overpowered his confusion was an overwhelming sense of joy. He hadn't been back in Germany since he was initially frozen solid. The centuries had moved him all around the place, but he'd never actually been brought back to his fatherland in all the time he was frozen.

1176
40 miles from Hamburg
Die Traurige Brigade camp

Smoke lifted and danced in the air as Conrat left footsteps in the snow on his way back to his parents. In his arms he carried a bundle of sticks and on his waist rested a sheathed, oversized sword. A noble had enlisted the brigade to assist in a battle the very next day, and anxiety was high as per usual. There was no telling how the battle would go, especially with the weather being as it was.

Conrat unloaded his delivery of sticks onto the fire, his adoptive father, a tall broad shouldered man named Jonas sat, a grim expression on his face as he scraped a sharpening stone down his longsword. As if Conrat had just appeared from thin air, Jonas' head shot towards looking at him, a small smile grew on his face. At first, Jonas was hugely against the boy. He only tolerated him for the sake of his wife, but over the years and throughout the battles he had grown to love the boy as his son.
"You feelin' alright, Hannibal?" He asked. The nickname was something he'd picked up in a book strangely enough. The book was a historical recount of the Carthagian invasion of Italy led, of course, by Hannibal.
"Better than alright! I have a great feeling about tomorrow!" He said, confident as ever.

The next day the battle would turn in favour of the opposition. A great deal of Die Traurige Brigade was lost, and a night raid resulted in the loss of, Conrat's mother.

Conrat leaped out of the helicopter, pushing past, Andrew with a large forearm and displaying his joy evidently on his face. He took in the field that lay before him, even the grass looked different to him, looked homely. He was forced into casual wear, carrying his armour and sword in an exceptionally large sports bag. He wore a red flannel shirt with the sleeves rolled up to the elbows, a pair of jeans and a rather scruffy pair of converse shoes.
"Ah, the fatherland" He exclaimed, joy and nostalgia evident in the tone of his voice. He turned back to the rest of the group, hoping to engage a few in conversation while they made their way into Frankfurt. "I wonder how it's all changed since I was frozen, I hope they still sell bratwurst!" He said joyously, oblivious to the heavenly taste of currywurst.
@Mr_pink who else dropped out beside Thule? (sorry i only know him by his character name)

There was someone who dropped out before the IC started. Other than that, no one, but with big RP's like these people are bound to fall off here or there.
i work almost every day for like 7-9 hours depending on the day. and when I get home there's like a shit ton of stuff to read... and like... it's overwhelming. i've missed like so much in the past two days.

If it's any consolation, I think the RP will slow down pretty soon. Today there were no IC posts and hardly any OOC, people have already begun dropping out so that should drop the post count down. It's your call, but if you really want to drop out you'd probably better PM weird tales.
guys.... i'm thinking about dropping out... I've never dropped out of an RP before... what the hell do I do??

Why are you thinking of dropping out?
@Weird Tales

I think it might be a good idea to forward the plot completely now, have the Presence just tell us what we're supposed to do so we can go do it. There's a lot more we can do out in the field than in a meeting room where we have to sit down or get shot. I haven't posted in two days because it'd pretty much be, "Hm, those guys got shot, better not stand up! Oh my, that guy's chair got turned into doves, that is a very interesting ability. I wonder what the Presence wants us to do?"

I second this.

Really interested, I'll have a WIP CS for a black boxer character in a little bit!

-Edit-

Still interested, but I'm thinking more about making some sort of Irish character as it seems like I could write one better. It's totally not related to my Peaky Blinders obsession.
Queenie spoke to Conrat.. but like. it wasn't mentioned. it's k tho...I'm getting overwhelemed with how many people we have. it's hard to keep up with the posts with so many people. am I the only one who thinks this?

I saw it, he didn't respond because it wasn't really open for response, it was more of a statement.
