Maya Ramos
"We don't like her, though she's called a hero."
Maya stared at Akatsuki academy as she swung her bag around her, unsure if she should just step inside. If she were to run away right now, she could probably get far far away before anyone noticed. Yet, something inside of her told her to stay, maybe give the place a chance. Perhaps it was some sort of love and compassion for her parents, and a true desire to change her attitude?
No. Fuck no. Her desire to stay the same is what kept her at Akatsuki. Getting to be a great warrior meant getting to fight lots of shit and bash some heads in, something that filled Maya with a sense of true being and purpose. If she couldn't be some prissy, social aristocrat, then why not use her talents for something truly interesting? Maya considered herself a loose cannon, although she could be more categorized as a loose nuke. With little direction or care in the world, perhaps a job where she could let out some of her angst would be a good thing. If she didn't kill anyone in the process.
Maya stepped through the gates, joining the crowd. The lady speaking seemed scary, although Maya was paying little attention. Although, at the question, she perked up.
"A chaser is a cool dude who fucks shit up!" She screamed over the crowd.
