do we also describe their power?
Yes please
when will we know that our characters have been accepted?
After I've had enough time to receive a good amount of them. Not too long.
Where is this town? If you don't want it to be a real place, just give me an idea of the geographic type of place it is, and what kind of person lives there.
Fictitious town. Population in the thousands. Not close to any major cities. The state it's based in, I'm flexible towards, so I'll take any suggestions.
Character should be late teens, 16-19.
I'm out, I don't play children.
Okay thanks for the initial interest.
Okay so. Anyone interested, send me a small paragraph summarising your character. As the group will be small, I'll refrain from wasting people's time on filling out a Cs just to get rejected. I'll get back to you with a cs template if I'm interested by your character. Character should be late teens, 16-19. I went for this age bracket as I think it will bring interesting elements like coming of age, leaving home, etc. If you have any questions, feel free to put them here or in the message, though not much is set in stone yet so only basic questions will get a solid answer. Thanks.
Ao I kinda want to keep this small and to have a lot of focus on each character so I think one character is more than enough for one person but nevertheless I think the idea of having a Government character could be a good idea. Just maybe not right from the start. I'll think some more about this. Also thanks guys, nice level of interest. We'll talk more about CSes and all that tomorrow. Cheers.
This seems interesting, you can count me being in
Nice. Thanks for the interest.
hey, I'm Mythic. I want to make clear the group will be small and neat, I'd like between 3 and 5 people in this rp, 6 at a stretch. The standard of posting was hard to select... I was tempted to go for advanced. I'm looking for a good standard of writing, and nice long posts. Im expecting advanced-ish posting every now and then, but since it's a small group and we'll all be on a similar wavelength, it's okay if not every post is really long. Still, grammar and all that should be at a good level. Also don't join if you're inactive. I don't need you to be posting 24/7, but don't hold the group up or we will move on, and even kick you out if you disappear completely. Sorry if I sound like a dick, just trying to get my point across. Don't have the details hammered down but it will go something like this - a town is shut down by the government after mysterious events occur, multiple report of aliens and other strange occurances. The truth is, though, that dozens of young residents of the town have developed superhuman abilities. These individuals are tracked down and subtly dealt with by the government in a quick and unnoticed shutdown of the town. However, a small handful survive the shutdown on the town and escape together, leaving their old lives behind forever and facing a future of constantly running from the government as they go - the only way they can prevent a lifetime in a testing facility or death? Sticking together and learning to use their abilities. Drama ensues. Will be action and plot movement and some other elements but the main focus will be on the characters, their emotions and relationships and all that crazy stuff. So if you write insipid characters, the door is over there. ;) Also will probably be some edgy stuff going on. So if you're afraid of certain themes maybe don't join. Nothing rule breaking, but anything that isn't against the site rules is okay with me.
Could be interesting. How many people will there be?
