“…please take my number...its Weston's suggestion that we should meet up sometime....bye now,” the blue/purple haired boy said, pressing a card into Nori’s hand and giving her a wink before walking away. ’Weston’s suggestion? What does he mean by that?’ Nori pondered, before checking over the card in her hand.
Nick Weston: Shine Academy Radio Host
“No way,” Nori breathed, looking back to where the stranger had been standing. “Th-That was Nick Weston?” The blonde stammered, looking up at Arty before turning back towards the card that was clutched in her hand. “What are the odds? I met my favorite manga artist and the most popular radio host in the city in the same day,” the short girl beamed, tucking the card into her clutch for safe keeping. She did her best to ignore her heart, which had started racing for some reason.
“Speaking of my favorite artist, how are you doing darlin’? You look like you’ve had a lot tonight,” Nori said while turning her head to the side to address Kameyo, careful not to jostle her too much, seeing as how she was now using the tiny DJ as a prop. “Why are you hiding back there? You’re not scared of Arty, are you? I know he’s got muscles like Hercules, but I swear he’s as sweet as pie,” she explained, reaching a hand back and patting the other girl’s bicep in what she hoped was a comforting manner. “Did you want to go back inside or head back home? We probably shouldn’t hold the line up any longer, these people have been waiting hours to get in there and listen to Ryva pla--," Nori stopped as a frisky girl with coffee colored skin brushed by her and walked right up to Arty, saying something about needing to be searched for contraband.
"Excus--," Nori started, only to be interrupted again as Ryva Silverstone barreled past her, dog in tow, pushing the florist back and knocking her roughly into Kameyo. "Urgh," Nori winced, righting herself and shooting a hurt look at the songstress. 'Well, that successfully put an end to my Ryva hero worship,' Nori thought, shaking her head to clear those negative thoughts. Normally, she'd say something, but it was clear that the singer was close friends with Arty, so the DJ bit her tongue for his sake.
"Arty, are you ok out here?" Asked a blonde man that Nori had briefly noticed earlier. He stepped in between Ryva and Arty, disregarding the dog completely. "You guys ok?" the stranger asked, before continuing, "I'm sorry some people thinks it's ok to do whatever she wants." Nori could feel the situation escalating and decided it was best to defuse the situation.
"No harm done," the petite girl said, nodding toward Ryva. "Thanks for your help though," she looked back toward the stranger and gave her very best smile, hoping to show him that no one had actually been hurt and there was no need for violence.
It seemed to work, sort of anyways. The man turned his attention to Arty, gestured at his genitals and dumped a drink on Ryva before walking away. "That man has balls," Nori murmured to herself, before running her hands through her hair and turning back to her roommate. "That's enough excitement for tonight I think. Are you ready to head home, Kameyo?"
