Interesting. Just out of curiosity tho, what part makes him a joker? Is he stuck in the armour? Because it just sounds like you've got a basic Ace there (which I'd have no problem with, so far, no one's gone for one)

I suggest you go back and read the "Aces" section of the OP again, you'll see it there. As for the CS, there's no rush on it, I was going to BUMP the Int Ch again today to see if I could get anymore people.

Nightraider, while normally I don't mind a bit of character puppeting, given how the manner in which this rp is run is very collab heavy, please do avoid deciding upon the reactions of other peoples' characters, not too much of an issue this time, as I can just write the scene from Tony's point of view, nor will it be that different, but still, if you want to write a longer scene, just contact the people involved.

Sorry, I tried to keep it to a minimum (and yes I know I shouldn't be doing it at all). I can change it so that the interactions are less "puppety", it actually wouldn't affect the scene that much. I just went into automatic mode when I was typing it out and just imagined what the expression would be; a habit I've unfortunately(?) picked up writing my own stories and such.

Edit: Editing in the IC post is done, any actions that are said/done by Tony in that post are one's already done by you in the previous one. Fair?

So, just for your guys reference, there will be 2 over-arcing subplots that you can get involved in if you so desire.

The first will involve Dr. Tachyon investigating a series of ace, joker and even deuce disappearances.

The second will feature Michael Benifield assembling a team of aces and acceptably jokers to create a "team" so sell to the masses commercially. Think KISS but with superpowered people.

They're both? It's kinda hard to explain. There are several different groups of aliens, the largest being the Network , a group of loosely organised aliens banded together for trading purposes. The [urlhttp://wildcards.wikia.com/wiki/Takisian] Takisians [/url] are an advanced feudal race of telepathic aliens that follow an aristocratic family structure. Some, like Dr. Tachyon, are good and some are bad, wishing to experiment on humans to further refine the Wild Card Virus they developed.

Like I said above, the Wiki is your friend and the master of all knowledge in this Universe.

@Cryptic: A pleasure to have you aboard then Sir, and if your posts are the same as your CS then, then you'll be a welcome edition. Speaking of CS, very impressive. You clearly took in the info from the Intro or you've read these books already. Also like your attitude, go for the flawed yet interesting characters first and I like the idea of literally choosing whether she dies by a die selection, but I think that view may change depending how well integrated she becomes in the story, though this is based on realism and people die so........yeah.

@Dr_Trap: I actually like the idea of mutliple personalities too. However, there ARE several characters similar to Jackman, one called The Oddity only this one has 3 personalities and all were actual people at one stage, another is Captain Trips who uses drugs to bring out the different personalities, each with their own different egos and powers. I only bring this up because it is stated that each deformity/ability is unique (and Jackmans is quite close to those two, but different enough that is may still be viable) and stems from the victims sub-conscious (so another question is: why? Why has this ability/deformity manifested itself in this way? What in Jackman's mind caused the WIld Card to change him this way?). If you do wish to play as Jackman, then by all means, we can work on him. But see if you like the look of either the Oddity or Trips?
Also, in regards to your CS, could you possibly spruce it up a little? Bold the cat. titles or space out the sections. It just looks a little........wallish.

All that sounds good, but I might stray away from the nat anyways. I can't seem to think of a good backstory that would want to make an unaffected want to don a mask and become a Superhero. Just a thought. I was thinking maybe in an expirement, a chip was inserted into my character's brain. All it really did was allow him to see in darkness, and have really reflexive eyes. By this I mean, his eyes catch everything. Also, could you give me an example of how a Joker could turn into a hero?

Well you have to look at jokers as a minority class. They're regarded as freaks, abominations and "diseased" and have a very tight community system as a result, so it's little wonder that jokers with powers beyond their deformities would rise to hero status in the eyes of their fellow jokers. One such example is Quasiman . Also, you have to remember that a "joker" refers to someone with a physical deformity, no matter how that deformity manifests. So a joker could be classed as an ace depending on the manifestation. An example of this is Peregrine , who has angelic wings which is technically a joker trait but because it is not "hideous" as other joker traits, she is classed as an ace.
