Personality: Lonely and antisocial, Sakura might be a bit slow but she is in no way stupid, she doesn’t like hectic situations, but will try to get the best out of any situation. She is quite egoistic in most things, but she will never harm others in order to reach her goals, she will of course take any opportunities to gain as much as she can from the though..
Bio: Sakura actually lead a fairly normal life all in all. Fairly well standing family, no internal turmoil whatsoever, however she was then “Scouted” by this weird western scientist, who said she is a magician of some sort. Of course this is sounded as complete nonsense, but ever since she could notice the scientist stalking her.

Personality: Analytical and composed, Victoria is a heavily determined person. Her sister disappeared when she was fifteen and she’s been exploring her disappearance since. She highly values science and believes it can explain anything.
Bio: The Northend family is a highly influential family in England, and their children regularly reach high positions. Victoria was very talented for theoretical and experimental science, but she was also very close with her sister, Theresa, who was a very talented artist.
However her sister disappeared when she was fifteen, a so called “spiriting away”.
But, Victoria saw what happened to her, her sister was drawn to one of the new paintings in their mansion, and then sucked into it.
Of course any attempts to recreate the event and follow her sister were useless, Victoria concentrated on her studies and started studying quantum physics in order to try and explain her sister’s mysterious disappearance, but no matter how much she tried she didn’t find an answer.
In the end, she turned to the opposite side, if it wasn’t anything rational, it had to be something impossible.

Anything else that you wish other people to know: Managed to construct a device that differentiates non-magic users from magic-users. However this device would probably break down when pointed at an actual active magician since it was designed to detect what Victoria thought are magicians.

EDIT: Though I'm curious as to why that rule would be in place, doesn't it make more sense to develop one ability rather then learn a new one?

Bio: Lonely, but calm and collected. Mari was mostly alone since she was very young. Still she had a high interest in the journalism business. She tried being an investigative journalist, however she didn’t make nearly enough money that way. So she decided to get a job at the Library, putting her Intelligence gathering abilities to use in another way.

Spirit: Her spirit is Sakura, a shrine maiden that rarely talks at all. She and Mari don’t talk at all outside missions, within missions Sakura operates semi-independently while Mari stands back. Because of this nobody really knows what is she really like.

Sakura is about 160 cm tall, her skin is quite pale. She has long brown hair that has no ornaments, and isn’t styled.
Her eyes are quite an average brown.
She wears a traditional red-white shrine maiden outfit.

Weapons/Spells:
- Sonar: Detects all holders’s current position within a 500 meters radius, gives only raw position, no information about identity, power or type whatsoever. Works instantaneous and can’t be used to track movement.

Divine area: An area within one kilometer becomes clearly visible to Sakura, for this spell Sakura cannot move at all, and she is immobile for its duration. This spell can be cancelled. (Duration:3) (CD-10)

If used within a closed space also maps out the layout of all rooms that are not divided by a wall or closed door.
- Divine barrier: A passive barrier around Sakura which reduces ranged damage. Completely useless against any sort melee

Flash barrier: An instant barrier that protects from all damage, works only for about a second and cannot be projected around the user. It also stops any sort of ranged or melee attacks coming from within the barrier. (CD-5)

Well I highly doubt the Mulitverse GM would like to merge with this.
He has a nicely running RP there, so merging with something experimental as this is kinda risky.

But yeah, this *is* basically a normal Arena thread, plus the strategic element.

And of course getting to rub your victories in the loser's faces.
