Got asked on a date at work today.

1. I have a boyfriend.
2. I wasn't displaying particular interest in this guy, I'm generally friendly to everyone at work, and I started a general conversation with him about tattoos (I saw he had one visible on his forearm). Was not "asking for it" with clothing choice, behavior, etc, fuck you.

Had I been single and mildly attracted to him I might've considered it... But after a quick stalking session on facebook, that would have quickly turned around.

I work for an audiobook company but somehow I can never find anything to read.

I enjoy mystery, thriller, paranormal (but for the love of god not shitty YA shit), fantasy, historical, stuff like that.

Stuff I have read, really enjoyed, would love to read more like:

- anything by Brandon Sanderson. He's the fucking God of modern, entertaining, character driven sci-fi/fantasy as far as I'm concerned. (Mistborn Trilogy, Warbreaker, Elantris, Steelheart, Firefight, Legion, etc.)

Anyone read anything good recently? I'm looking for something new.

Pet rats are akin to guinea pigs, only far more friendly and silly, trainable, will never intentionally bite out of spite, and they legitimately play with you, and studies show that they laugh when they're tickled.

Don't confuse gutter rats (pests) with domesticated rats (pets).

Apparently this is the time of day when my rats passionately groom each other. Extremely entertaining. Every once in a while there's a happy little squeak.

They're caught between being up and active (nocturnal creatures) and being very tired, so they're lounging about, yin yang style. Way too adorable.
