Yay! I finally managed to get the CS out! I am always up for some constructive criticism for the entire idea for it.

Name: Prototype War Drone 'Combot'
Gender: N/A
Age: 1
Starsign: N/A
Rank: N/A
Armor: 4.5 inches of armored plating
Medical and Criminal History: N/A
Physical Description: Standing at the full height of 1.9 meters tall it is built to look similar towards an humanoid being, but enough to not create an uncanny valley effect to disturb the population and their soldiers. The Combot is built to be more agile and powerful than any regular solider can actually be inside the battlefield. The fleet is being supplied with a dozen of prototype Combots for replacement reasons if one Combot should ever be taken out of commission. Each Combot has been tested for use and has been approved for combat with each having the same exact programming, but can still be different from others as each one can learn and adapt to combat situations, environments, and even tactics used by squad mates.
Goddess/God: N/A
Background: The creation of this Combots was going to eventually happen, as the use of machines to be used in combat rather than living beings would prove satisfactory as these can be created with no end and can follow orders with ease. However, there would still be the use of living beings as robots don't have the ingenuity that living organisms have with the use of their brain. The use of robots in battle was always an idea before the Interstellar Age had come along, but was never really implemented as it would take too much to create as resources were being used else where during the devastating wars happening around the world. However, once the Interstellar Age had arrived, the idea for A.I and robots being used inside combat could start to work due the excess of resources coming from other planets. Also, the idea of soldiers being able to be mass produced and set on the ground able to survive in most environments was starting to become a very good idea towards the Divitia.

The prototyping soon started to take place once the Halycon started to be noticed through the empire and how they could endless throw troops upon troops at the Divitia army. The government soon green lighted the idea of robots being used inside of combat, so the Divitia army could also throw endless legions of troops back at Halycon's armies. The construction of robots with Psionic Crystals powering them was easy enough as it was fairly common, but the problem was creating the robots to learn and fight against enemies. The whole process was trail and error as their is a fairly long list of failed prototypes. It took several years to create the most recent prototype, which was able to get over most extreme terrain, being able to be powered on for almost a week without being recharged, and be able to also leave memory space for the robot to learn other methods of fighting from experience. However, there are set backs to the machines as their processing system is connected with their power supply which is also can also be used as bullets. So, there could be problems with that as the processing could go slower to save energy making them less responsive in battle. There was also the fact that they couldn't have the same finesse as most humanoid creatures as even if they can learn tactics, they can still be easily tricked, can't grasp the subtleties in battle, and these droids are quite expensive and not really to be mass produced as the engineers and scientist kinda went overboard with these robot, but its new purpose is to be put inside of more advanced situations like trying to enter an unknown planet with unknown defenses.

The Combots being sent are also brand new with no previous experience except for their basic programming in combat, so they are worse out inside the beginning, but can still improve once being in several missions and battles. As there are only a limited supply of Combots, there can only be one out at a time to conserve the rather expensive droids. These are actually the first droids to go into actual combat with the Halycon, so this is their trail to see if the uses of these Combots are actually useful or just a failed project that the Divitia had spent too much money on.
Three Strengths:
  • Requires no sleep, food, or water.
  • More strong and agile than an average solider.
  • Can learn tactics from fellow squad mates.

Three Weaknesses:
  • Can't recharge Psionic Crystals by itself.
  • Doesn't have enough room inside of the Psionic Crystal to pilot anything.
  • Overly obedient. Will follow commands even if it means certain death, follows orders only from high ranking officials, and contradicting orders could make the Combot malfunction.

Miscellaneous: The Combots are a jack of all trades with weaponry.
Okie doki loki. I still have to wonder what it would be powered by and I was also thinking of sometime of new prototype that uses psionic crystals to power itself and be able to like serve as some sort of processing system at the same time. That would be interesting for sure! I would also assume that a robot wouldn't have a star sign for obvious reasons and rank is going to be weird since I don't think a robot could be given a rank since it can't really think like an actual person.
I was wondering, do they have to be humanoid? I've been thinking of making a robotic type of solider, but it was never explained if they have the technology for A.I or the use of them at all. Well, they probably have made them at some point with all the fancy gadgets and technology they have, but I was just wondering if I could do so and all of the special implications if an A.I can even join the military.
I can't wait for this RP to start. When do you think we can start to grind out paragraphs of dialogue and actions?
Oh my gosh. No. Talc can control this stuff for other purposes if inside of a safe environment like medicinal purposes like just patching up some scrapes and something else minor. However, he can't just spam it though as taking more than needed would weaken him. The point is that Talc in the real world is used inside a bunch of stuff and I just decided to add that in for fun as to make it more like the mineral.
Oh my gosh, sorry for skimming through the rules. I was watching T.V at that part and didn't notice it. Man, that is embarrassing.
@Saarebas: Well, I first thought that Talc would have to get close to some gem that is trying to kill him as he is also super fragile. However, I think I worded it wrong since I was thinking it was basically cement on the body, it can be pretty hard to get it off but it can be broken with brute force like slicing or smashing through the substance. The catch is that you have to be pretty careful in trying to remove the substance without hurting oneself, so you basically have to do that out of combat unless it is dire to keep on fighting and injure yourself in the process of removing the substance. However, I think I can add that if Talc is ever hurt while the substance is on someone, it will weaken the grip and be easier to take off.
Well, I had made the post to the thing. Sorry about the appearance difference from other gems as this was the only thing I could actually come up with and also the only picture I had at the moment. I think I made him a bit powerful? I don't know. I had that whole Pseudomorph idea in my head when I saw a Talc-Quartz Pseudomorph, which basically made that quartz as weak as Talc and that mineral is super weak. I was thinking of this idea for quite some time, but I can always change it if it is too powerful for everyone. I'm up for some constructive criticism from anyone from my OC.

Name:
Talc

Gem:
It can be found on the back of the head in a jagged square shape form.

Appearance:
Talc is very secretive on its appearance, wearing stuff to cover the entire body. Talc's build is rather undefinable since of the large coat covering the entire body, and the only thing you can say is that Talc is rather short and that the voice is almost boyish sounding. He wears a large black trench coat, the popped up collar circling his entire head and covering the chin, neck, and mouth. He also has buttons reaching down to its chest, and a large pocket on both sides of the bottom half of the coat. The trench coat also goes down to his feet, covering him from mouth to toe! Talc has two matching leather gloves, and large blue lensed goggles. Lastly, he wears a wide brimmed fedora and even covering the entire body with bandages. Talc is also very light weight and agile even inside of the clunky clothing, but it leads Talc to be weaker than most every gem and is barley as tough as an average human.

Weapon:
Talc carries no weapons, but produces marble sized balls of his own gem that can be crushed into powder through minimal physical activity. This powder can be used in many ways from medicine to lethal manners.

Unique Abilities:
Pseudomorph - Talc is able to harm other gems, but inside of a very special manner than smashing them into bits and pieces. The weapon he uses is able to mess with the structure and form of other gems as the minerals will latch onto any part of the gem and transform the body into the same material of itself. It takes several days to weeks for the infection to stay inside of place and can be no longer removed resulting in death for the gem. At first touch, the gem will weaken depending on where Talc had hit them. If hit around the body like the limbs, it won't incapacitate the gem, but will feel weaker than their regular self almost as if they were actually sick. The malleable substance is fairly hard to take off, but if enough force is used it can be torn off and easily crushed into nothingness. However, the substance can be easily taken off by Talc and absorb back into the layers of clothing. A more powerful state of the material is if it is placed on the gem, the gem would be severally weakened and the process would go much faster. The process is that the gem will on a very small scale turn into the substance that was put onto the gem and would also make that part of the body fairly weak compared to the rest of the body. It almost spreads like an infection from the point of the gem to the rest of the body. If the entire body is covered inside of the material than the original gem would slowly deteriorate and become an empty shell of the substance. This process takes weeks to fully affect the gem and can still be cured if taken care of early. There is another way rather than beating up the infection and that is to actually incapacitate Talc making the substance much easier to be removed from the body.

Behavior:
Talc is concerned with his own well-being and that of the Crystal Gems. He may behave in a good manner to those he considers friends and allies, but will only act maliciously against those who have tried to injure him in some way. For the rest, Talc does not care. He does not wish ill on those he doesn't not know, but he also does not care when he hears of evil befalling another group. Better for others to suffer the evil than himself. If an ally is in need, Talc will aid them, out of genuine love or because he may be able to count on that ally a little more in the future. If someone else is in need, he will weigh the options of the potential rewards and dangers associated with the act. If an enemy is in need, Talc will ignore them or take advantage of his misfortune.

Talc can be easily offended by those who are opinionated or bigoted. A rather zealous Crystal Gem is just as offensive as a racial supremacist Homeworld Gem in his eyes. Talc also does not necessarily strive for balance amongst the world. In fact, he may have tried to avoid the situation in general. The strange gem also didn't take up the cause for the Crystal Gems like others had done, as he didn't necessarily feel obligated to do so, but because it just made sense to support the group that protected his way of life.

Origin:
I would rather slowly show this inside of the RP

Other:
Its name is pronounced like ‘talk’ but with a southern accent added into it
