I'm honestly sick of updating this. This will probably be ny status for the next four months.

Okay.. maybe I panic a little when nobody's posted for 10 hours. I have no life outside the internet.

I don't know how much caffeine I've just injested and I'm pretty sure it was all a mistake.

I have a question about Relationships. Once we've worked out a relationship with a character and both of us are satisfied with it, do we write it into the sheet right away or do we wait until we've finalized everything with every character? I remember there being some pretty strict rules about when we can and can't edit our character/relationship sheets, so I wanted to make sure.
@Kautalya Sweet. I would try to recruit some people, but I've got 0 friends on here so I don't think that would be helpful.
Yeah, how many people were you hoping for @Kautalya? I'd be willing to wait as long as it takes to get as many as you want; tbh I'm actually really hyped for this.
@Karisma Haha, didn't she already 'experiment' on a kid with a fear of heights? I guess the scientific method does promote repetition...

Reporting in with Ciel!

Not really sure what kind of skills I want. He'd probably do whatever work was offered him to the best of his capabilities, rather than requesting something specific. I suppose he'd be most likely to pick up skills like basic agriculture, scavenging, honing weapons skills, maybe some first aid or something.

And as to an occupation, the same goes as above. Being 11 (12 by the end of the timeskip), he doesn't really have a specialty. Which isn't to say that he's not good at anything, just that there's no particular field of work he's been trained in. Again, it would be in his nature to take whatever position he was asked to take and try to perfect it as best he could. I don't think he's the kind of kid who would make suggestions or advocate for a specific position, because he's highly conscious of what kind of impression he's making on others. Wouldn't want to seem pushy.

So all in all, taking his age and personal demeanor into account makes it a bit hard to predict what kind of skills he'd pick up over such an extensive period of time, but I did my best. Sorry if this was an unsatisfactory read.

So I added the personality section to the sheet in the CS tab. Pretty sure that I'm officially done with it now. :)

While that does make some degree of sense (especially since she's probably never been argued with, being in the company of only immediate relatives since the age of two), I would think that her "teacher father" would have taught her such basic concepts.
Most five year olds do actually understand complicated concepts like empathy, sharing and personal space, at least to some degree. They often don't have the judgement to use this knowledge to its fullest extent, but I would assume that one as intelligent as Abigale clearly is would have a better understanding of that than most.
But then again, I'm no psychologist. My knowledge of the 5 year old psyche comes mostly from personal experience and medical journals that I've only been studying for a few months at most. It says in your bio that you've done some medical studies in college/university, so be my guest and do as you please with this character.
Just bear in mind that I don't have to personally like her, nor does my character. That should say nothing about my feelings towards you. I actually think you're a fairly competent writer, given what I've seen of you in this RP and in Lady A's Walking Dead one. Just do what makes you happy. It might not even be too late to save our character's relationships...
@Caits
Abigale is appallingly eloquent for a five year old. I find it hard to believe that she has such a firm grasp on vocabulary but still doesn't understand the concept of "no".
Not mad at you as a person or anything, just a bit frustrated with the logic here.
@Caits
Funny you should use the term "abuse" to describe Linus's behavior.
Take this with a grain of salt (I am a 13 year old and not a particularly bright one at that), but I hardly see retorting repeated attempts to make someone feel inferior, demanding explanations from people who are acting HIGHLY suspicious, and not taking a five year old's words at face value as being abusive behavior.
However, repeatedly disrespecting one's request not to be touched physically....
