You JUST scrolled down!
Hello out there! My name's Mason. I like a lot of random stuff like comics, Masters of the Universe, M*A*S*H, X-Files, conspiracy theories, as well as a good superhero themed role play! I'm more of a DC freak than a Marvel zombie but I did grow up on mutants and 3rd string heroes. Once in awhile I'll make a few micros in MSPaint for my RP's because I love designing heroes as much as I do writing/reading about them. I'm about to try and get another Amalgam Universe themed game off the ground, if you're interested gimme a shout!

I've been RP'ing for awhile. I mostly RP to keep my writing skills up to par, and I generally RP between Casual and Advanced. I've been a member of the guild for quite a bit, pre Guildfall even. Ninety percent of the time you'll find me in some superhero themed RP or something based off of another fandom like MotU or Power Rangers. Currently in the process of developing my own comics!
Favorite DC heroes (I won't go into villains to save space) in no order: Aquaman, Hawkman, Green Lantern (Kyle Rayner), Superboy (the clone), Swamp Thing, Starman, Animal Man, the Ray (90's era), Impulse, Captain Atom, and Batman Beyond.
Favorite Marvel heroes list: Human Torch I & II, Capt. Mar-Vell, Black Bolt, the classic Destroyer, Havok, Multiple Man, classic Scarlet Spider, Spiderman 2099, Nova, and Colossus.
OTHER FAVORITES: Space Ghost, Haunt, the Maxx, Shadowhawk, Green Hornet, Madman, Doctor Star/Andromeda, the Phantom, He-Man, and Zorro.
That last post was initially a lot longer but my computer died and instead of turning back on and resuming windows it restarted the damn thing so I lost a good deal of the first draft. Still managed to start writing out a couple characters. @rocketrobie2 asked if I could write out his speedster and Batwing never really came forward so...
Jack and the behemoth known as Kaze made quick work of the remaining Venom junkies. Their bodies were thrown all over the green vegetation of the park. Benches were busted, and trashcans were turned over with trash flying through the night.
"Where's your boss, junior?" asked Jack, throwing the last remaining punk not currently knocked out.
"Go to hell skull-man!" shouted the muscle bound idiot.
"Your boss has three girls hostage... WHY?!" Jack asked backhanding the guy into a nearby tree.
Elsewhere....
"It seems I've caught you in a dead end. It's appropriate. Strength beats speed every time..." Bane taunted as the dark clad speedster called Bolt was obviously in panic mode.
The speedster tried simply running by the giant of a man but he was caught with a clothesline. Bane picked him up by the ankle and swung him one handed like a baseball bat into the building closest to them in the alley. The young hero's ankle snapped like a twig.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
Batwing hit the scene from above, "I've got visual on Bane. We're somewhere in the Bowery..." he said into a communicator before coming down hard with a boot to the back of Bane.
"Now why doesn't Batman hide behind a suit like this?" Bane asked swatting at Batwing with one hand while still holding the broken limb of the dark speedster in his other hand.
Bane actually used the crippled speedster like a weapon and struck Batwing out of the air.
He looks like a cross between Cyborg and the Master Chief. I whole heartedly approve.
Some of my better micro work. I actually took the chest piece from a Halflife base micro and edited it for the upper body. Some of the Halo bases were too bulky.
@ProPro Yes but that was (if Terry is now 21) about three years ago. People can change a great deal in that amount of time and think about what being slingshotted back and forth from the Earth's core to the surface just to be pulled under again would do to a man's psyche.
+1. I was having a hard time remembering the guy's name. I loved his look with the Kirby dots. My personal favorite was the Repeller. A little Kirby influence in anything goes a long way with me LOL
Ultimate Comics just got in the habit of killing off too many characters for shock and awe and changing characters up completely for the hell of it. Colossus and Nightcrawler have both worn thigh high boots in the 616 universe so they were made gay in the Ult. Universe where they never even wore those suits...
I WILL say, I thought the idea of the Thing going all Wonderman-lite was cool when Reed was out of the F4 and slowly becoming the badguy. Wolverine being the universe's Cable was lame. Ult. Cap was just a modernized Cap and worked. The alien Capt. Marvell was cool with the morphing tech suit. Ult. Capt. Britain was also pretty badass.
They put themselves into a corner with that universe and then there was no going back. The New Ultimates didn't take and Miles sales were slowly declining. Ult. Future Foundation couldn't compete with actual well thought out team books [the cast included a neutered Ironman or X-51 I can't remember, Falcon, Invisible Girl, and I can't even remember who else... and the X-Men just had way too many deaths to have a decent team.
