Oh, ha, sorry went off of the post above me so it threw me off.
Sera Kennithson

After the coffee shop everyone separated to go about their own tasks before they headed up to the school. For Sera, that meant visiting the craft shop to fix her bag.

It was surprisingly easy to find, even without a map since people were happy enough to point out the way she needed to go and she was there within a few minutes of walking.

Inside was quite the spectacle, alongside your everyday crafts items were all sorts of magical materials, a few caught Sera's eye, mostly different combinations of magical clays which gave golems created out of them certain benefits. On a whim she picked a few up out to try tinkering with alongside her needle and thread to fix her bag.

It was still early when Sera had gotten to the university, far too early for classes to have started. And so, she went to her room after she picked it up at the reception, 307. When she dropped her stuff off no one was around. She picked up her new crafts kit and decided to find somewhere around the campus she could try her hand at creating a golem of some sort. The gardens; she decided.

As she left her room, arms taken up by a basket, Sera saw Mikkish as well as some others from the coffee shop, she overhead Mikkish talking about how this was all paid for. How did they make money if they provided everything to the students for free? Sera wondered.
I'll get a post up by the day's end. And since Duth edited his I'll take up the role of bumping into Prism

As Prism tried calming Sera down it initially had the opposite effect. "You might wanna drop that. He's not here to cause trouble, although I think we may have overstayed our welcome here," Sera flinched, her body freezing up and her animated weapons dropping to the floor as Prism grasped her shoulder, lifeless. The enchantment had run it's course by the looks of things. A second later she began to calm, ashamed of herself. She like to think that she was a calm and calculating type from her time doing the rounds in chess tournaments, but instead she acted on instinct. "S-sorry," she managed to stutter, "He scared the ever living shit out of me,". She shook her head as she picked up her knives and slipped them back into her bag.

Prism was right though it certainly did seem like they had overstayed their welcome in the shop, especially with Mikkish owning up to being a blood mage of some sort, "Blood magic? Yeah, I did a bit..." he had claimed, probably forgetting the sign. And it looked like the shop owner was planning on calling the law enforcement too.
"Maybe it's best if we leave? Unless we want to spend our first day of magic school in prison," Sera suggested, it's not like they had nothing else to do in the mean time anyway. They could spend the time running the errands they had - the garden centre for Prism and the craft centre for Josh, she could use some sewing supplies considering the sizeable new hole her bag had in it. Besides, Mikkish had left already and if he spoke so freely about his dabbling in blood magic anywhere else it could land him in big trouble.
Will get my post up tonight for suresies.

As the group all drank their beverages of choice Prism brought up the questionable sign outside,"There's no 'blood mage' here, is there?"How 'bout you, Jacket? You've been very shifty there. Not a blood mage, are you?"
"I don't think anyone here is a blood mage. If they went through the trouble of putting a sign up, they probably have some way to sense blood magic." John quickly interjected.

Suddenly someone new popped into existence - quite literally - someone tall, with pink hair and blue eyes, deciding to join in with the conversation that had started, "True, blood magic sounds interesting. I'll have to start learning it at some point, if it's seemingly taboo that probably means it's pretty strong, huh?" he said openly - or maybe it was to himself. Had been been following them unseen all this time? Invisible? Or had he watched from afar and teleported to them only now? Perhaps there another magical method he had used to achieve this?

Sera's reaction was quick, almost instinctively activating her magic which was a new feat to say the least, usually it required intensive concentration. The two knives she owned burst out of her bag and circled her coming to a floating rest pointed at the newcomer. Perhaps it was because she had already enchanted the two weapons? She would have to experiment with it later... after she fixed the hole they had caused. What to do next didn't come so naturally, she sort of sat there for a moment or two. And then she threw what remained of her coffee over him, yelling "And who in the hell are you!" as she did so.

The gathering quickly decided that coffee was a good stop off point to start with, sling decided he was going to introduce himself using magic - a cool party trick. Jacket was still rather reserved about his name, guess he wasn't too eager to share anything about himself - apart from his lack of an adventurous sense of style. Sera wondered if his magic was something to do with not divulging your name to people. For that matter she wondered what most of their parties magic was, John - as sling had revealed his name to be - seemed to be a pyromaniac to some extent. Everyone else however, was a mystery Sera.

The gang made their way to the coffee shop, Finian was pestering his (At this point Sera had made the links that Finian wasn't female, as she initially believed) brother about causing any more trouble, He must have caused the fight on the boat them Sera though to herself. Prism tried to console this by asking Finian "What sort of trouble could we get into in this place?" and in perfect timing four cop cars whizzed past them, Sera couldn't help but let out a laugh, not even slightly stifled, quickly clearing her throat afterwards and hoping no one looked at her too strangely.

It wasn't much longer after that incident until they rolled up at Celestial Coffee, Prism was worried about whatever it was attached to her necklace - it kind of looked like a small plant within a glass ball - and she referred to it as her baby. So was her magic to do with plants? Or was she just an enthusiast? Or both? Sera learned magic which aligned with her passion - using her summons like chess pieces - so did the same apply for others too? She could probably figure that out later when she got to know everyone better. She stepped up to the counter to order her coffee, Prism was a flirt with the barista , Jacket had something sweet under the name "Seth" and Mikkish ordered something bog-standard. Sera opted for a Latte, she never was a big coffee nut so it was about the most she could handle and returning to sit with the rest of the group. "So from the sounds of it we need to hit a craft market and a garden centre after this," Sera said, mostly to anyone who would care to listen, "anywhere close by or are we looking at another bus ride?".

"Want to come with us and explore this wonderful island?" the girl who was taking bets on the fight ealier called out to Sera as well as two others on the boat, she seemed to be hanging around with one of the two trouble makers and his sister. She was blue haired, pretty. Sera swore she'd seen that face before but couldn't link a name to it. "If you're going to all the trouble, then it would be rude to turn down an invite to join you wouldn't it?" she replied, smiling. She hadn't spoken to anyone during the voyage over, so she should probably try to get to know someone.

She heard the one the referred to as sling say he needed to go shopping to get a new sling, did his magic require it or something? Sera decided not to question it. She didn't really care where they went so long as they were able to kill off some time first. Maybe she'd find something useful for her own magic in the market? This was an island of wizards right? "Where we go doesn't really matter to me, so if Sling needs some stuff we can go there. Oh, name's Sera by the way, pleased to make your aquaintance,".
Your officially my favourite, I hate the initial "Shit how do I interact with these people" moments of RP's like this.

At the back of the boat sat a girl, not particularly tall with long blonde hair. She'd been there for most of the journey, just staring at what the passengers had left behind. A fight seemed to have broken out behind her, somehow it was the first one on the voyage. She wondered who it was?

Sera walked around the cabin to a view of the boats front, she didn't recognise either of the two fighters, or anyone else for that matter. Maybe she should have tried to get to know these people. Thankfully for the boat - the rocking wasn't the greatest sensation - the fight was broken up pretty quickly by some of the crew, with... varying levels of force.

"Reaching land in maybe 15 to 20 minutes!" Called the captain, followed by someone handing out some city maps. Sera moved to the front of the boat, squinting out into the distance as she tried to make out the shape of the mountains. What a strange turn her life had taken int he past few years.
