Name: Niyu
Appearance:
Age: 16
Gender: female
Race: Sahuagin
Magic:
Hydromancy - Niyu is capable of manipulating and creating liquid in various ways, such as purifying liquid into clean water or summoning a small rain storm. Miyu is capable of more powerful spells too such as making a geyser of water shoot out from the ground, but creating the water for her spells is much more taxing then just manipulating whatever water is nearby. Two common ways she uses a little bit of water is turning the water into a shield to intercept and absorb attacks, or into a prehensile whip she can use to grab or slash opponents from a distance.
Personality:
Niyu is cold and fairly silent. Like a hunter, she only watches when there is nothing to do, and acts when she's most useful. She only says something when it is necessary to do so and she often finds that actions say more then words. A lot of the time, she appears fairly emotionless, her voice usually also not giving away much of her internal feelings. Niyu was never really given the chance to express herself emotionally, and thus has harden her heart and simply acts autonomously. Niyu doesn't feel sympathy and when she does have emotions she just bottles it up and away from others.
Background:
It takes a village to raise a child, and that's especially true when the child has no parents. Niyu was orphaned at birth and subsequently taken care of by various people in her clan, however no one ever took care of her for long. They always shifted responsibility of her to others for one reason or another, often because Niyu had failed at some task or spoke out and was deemed undesirable. This taught Niyu to hold her tongue and hide the feelings in her heart in order to appease others who were taking care of her. She tried to learn everything she could to make them happy, but try as she might she would always be known as the clan's troubled child.
Niyu lived with some of her species in a nearby lake system. When the mysterious camp appeared the heads of her clan tried to estimate the danger that a camp that had been erected close by posed. They needed more information but they could not risk any of their own, so Niyu was sent to do espionage for her clan. Niyu has hunted before and thought that she could try to use those skills to spy on the camp. However stalking prey was different then stalking people. It wasn't long before she was discovered. Niyu tried to flee but she was apprehended by the camp members. She tried to fight but she was easily overpowered and outnumbered. She thought it was going to be the end for her. But then one of the members of the camp approached her with offer: she could either work with them, or she could die right there. Niyu never had a choice in life and this was hardly a choice she wanted to make. But she didn't want to die either so she joined the camp.
Equipment:
Harpoon - A spear Niyu uses to hunt for hunting. She can throw it far, accurately, and very fast, and use her magic to retrieve it after she throws it.

Name: Torako
Appearance:
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Race: Tiger girl
Magic:
Magic carpenting:
Torako's magic allows her to shape rough wood to her will without having to physically saw, cut and nail things together. She only needs the materials for the construction around and she can, hands on, form the wood together into whatever form she wants.
Personality:
Torako is cheerful and happy, seemingly excited every second of the day, which contrasts with what her body had went through coming through that wormhole. On the outside, it seems that she is okay being a girl now and being half animal, but when alone and in her mind, she is struggling a lot with it. Though, she always tells herself, that is could have been worse, since society is so different in this world, she has dark thoughts and cries herself to sleep more often than not. But in the morning, she hides her feelings well, but distress will always reach her again, whenever some of her animal instincts surface or when she is reminded again of what she is now. However, it appears that she is slowly, day by day, edging closer to acceptance, seeing as she is already happy that she gained a lot of years of her life.
Background:
Born male in the previous world, under a different name than now, Torako grew up an orphan and had to overcome crushing loneliness. This is when he grew very fond of animals and caring for them, but he also learned to handle himself and survive on his own.
When he grew older, he applied to work at the local zoo and slowly worked his way up to caring for the tigers.
Over the years, the tigers grew to like him and even let him care for their kits. This was when it happened. One day he was working with the daughter of the first kit he ever was able to care for when, right in the middle of the cage, a portal opened up and sucked both the kit and him in.
Terrible pain racked him as his body changed. When he arrived in the other world, he was over half his age, half-tiger-human... and female.
