Also, Bahl is launched.

"Bahl...Ready..." Nine spoke through her comms, signaling to the crew in the control center seconds after Phantom Zero was shot into the open.

"Acknowledged Bahl, proceed to rail 2 after release." The crew from the control tower responded with efficiency. The large platform ferrying Bahl then continued on a coursed track towards rail 2.

"And Nine... don't get yourself killed out there. You aren't a one-girl army, alright? You can't expect to do this alone." What seemed to be the voice of Jeanne then nagged at Nine - to which Nine was somehow confused by the request.

"Women must be loyal... Lo...yal...?" Nine replied with a slow but monotonous voice, a rather irrelevant reply - which Jeanne would've found to be confusing. However, considering the time Jeanne have spent interacting with Nine, she would've recognized that it was one of the few ways that Nine was actually acknowledging her remarks.

Nine then continued to flick a few switches, initiating the undocking and launch sequence. The restraints on her NCM released, to which Bahl was aligned onto the electromagnetic rails. As the clamps locked it in place, Nine lowered Bahl's stature to that of a steady position as she prepares for launch. The rails charged as the clamps dropped, shooting the Bahl on to the surface where with the help of rocket anchors - less than a minute away from Phantom Zero that took the vanguard.

As the Tiger Viper joined the formation, a video comm-link was patched - with Eriko's face now appearing in the HUD. Eriko then queried, "So about that plan anyone have one?"

"I float like a butterfly and sting like a bee," Nine replied creepily, with her usually slow and monotonous voice.
Weight ups isn't just 'everything ups', you basically trade mobility and possible stealthiness for more guns and armor, so as long as you don't like, hug them or something and try to make sure they can't lock on for too long (so they can't fire too many missiles), (Which with Jeanne's training you'd definitely know already IC) you should be fine.

Well, some super robots which are 'extra-large extra-heavy' types actually have stealth units XD If you've watched the recent Aldnoah Zero - you'd be amazed lolol

Also, for mobility - adding that OB function I've been wanting would cover it - for the most parts lololol

---

Still, I personally favor heavies because of the ability to carry more weapons/house more ammunition. Say for example - if ammo count is actually tracked in real-time - you'd run through it really fast if you're going as a light / ultra-light NCM. Leaving you with only close quarter laser blades and the like as your only means of engagement.
Howling Sands might also want to invest in some transport planes - because med-heavies aren't exactly the most fuel efficient when it comes to covering long-distances in a short amount of time. Also, considering that Bahl isn't exactly a flight-type mecha - Bahl would be walking all the way to the area of engagement in order to minimize energy consumption XD
Hopefully Echos can fix up his post really quick and tell me to git gud at context and explaining soon enough. In any case, Nine also might reply to Jeanne's little comment.

lol actually I knew what was happening, mostly because I read Raymond's profile in the characters tab XD

Anyway @ClocktowerEchos, might wanna fix your post. That post you replied to IC was actually a 'third party NC pilot' - and if you've read the Characters tab, you'll know that S-N Corp very often hires him to do their dirty work :D

Edit: brb brunch
Nine is actually using a Medium - I wanted her to go with a heavy, but I fear it might've been too OP.
@Mokley If you don't mind the simple-ish art of Kino's Journey - the narrative is actually pretty thought provoking! I hope you'll enjoy the series as much as I did ^^

I'll pop my character in when I wake up. (It's 11am here and I have not slept yet as I was rushing for my final assignments...) Say, approximately 8-10 hours XD
Someone should just continue with the discussion in the briefing room - see it to an end. Then when everyone's suiting up and going into pre-launch checks, I'll post Nine launching and stuff :)
Being a huge fan of both Mushishi and Kino's Journey, my character as a herbalist/alchemist is actually inspired very much by how Ginko is always travelling with his box of goodies.
@MangoJuice Looks great! I'll pop that into my CS :D
