Part of me really wants one of the canon characters to be the teacher, like Ox Ford or someone. Just to show the time lapse or something, or as a nod to the series or I don't know. Either way, having a definite teacher character is useful.
Wes hung up pretty quickly, most likely due to the fact that there really wasn't any time. A bell rang through the air, and Lexie watched as any people standing nearby began to scurry away. They really didn't have that long to get to class, but instead of following them, she walked over to one of the top steps and sat down, waiting for her Meister. After all, a duo such as they should stick together and support each other. Having accepted the fact that she was going to be late as well, she started mentally going through exactly how she would catch up on whatever class she missed today.
Lexie blinked in confusion. Early? It wasn't early at all... then the realization hit her - he clearly thought that it was a lot earlier than it actually was. Exactly how he'd managed to do that, she didn't know, but the whole scenario was typical of his luck.

"Um, Wes? You know, class actually begins in... less than 5 minutes now I believe? You're running late again."
Maybe so, Joey, but Lexie honestly doesn't know how very very early Nightwalker is, so she's assuming he's late :P
Lexie glanced at the time again, and sighed. "You guys go to class - I'm sure the other's won't be far behind. After all, its really their own fault if they're late."

Regardless of what the others did, Lexie walked off from them a little, and pulled out her phone. She quickly punched in Wes's number, and waited to see if he'd pick up. While she was sure that the others wouldn't be running too late, her Meister, on the other hand, was unlucky enough to be likely to be very very late.
"Ah the joys of cooking." Lexie murmured. She saw the dark haired Rhia emerge from the stairs, and offer a cheery wave, to which she nodded with a small smile, acknowledging her presence. Her eyes flicked to the clock nearby, and mentally she winced. Looks like it was going to be one of those days.
"Here." Lexie said to the pair, as she walked towards them. "Or rather, just one of 'everyone else'." She corrected herself. She glanced around, looking for Wes. Knowing him, he'd probably slept through his alarm or something like that. Then promptly forgot his books, had to run back to get them, only to realize he'd dropped his key. She hoped the scenario was just a large exaggeration.

"What have the two of you been up to?" She asked, having not seen either of them for a little while.
Books, I don't think this is your fault at all - we had to handle having two weapons in some way, and you seemed to be willing to work it through so everyone was somewhat pleased with the outcome, rather than just not letting Mnt even be considered as a character in the first place.
Fair enough, thanks for showing interest in it anyway :)
... Well Mnt sorted that out nicely. No need for duel wielding.
