Welcome one, welcome all to a running thread of my current interests and plot ideas! I will be updating this as I develop new plot ideas or as my interests change. Please feel free to peruse my ideas or ask me about yours. Cheers!

 GENERAL GUIDELINES 

I promise I am not some rule lover, but I do have a few guidelines that I stick by. I am extremely flexible though so please do not consider any of these too be ironclad. That being said, let’s get down to brass tax.
I’m only interested in Advanced RPs. That means no text talk, no one liners (or even one paragraphers unless it's a face-paced dialogue scene). If you can’t provide me with a proper post, let me know. I know what it’s like to be stuck. We can bounce ideas off until you can. I’d much rather wait and help out then receive a disappointing return.
Grammar and spelling as far as spell check should be fine. I shouldn’t have to decode your writing, but then again I can’t spell to save my life so I’m very forgiving.
I don’t have any post minimums but understand I will most likely reflect what you give me. Write me a novel and I’ll write you sequel. Give me a short but substantial action scene and I’ll be sure to return the punches. I truly believe RPing is like a dance, so try to keep on beat.
As of right now I’m more comfortable playing female main characters. I’m a bit rusty from RPing after taking a two year break and don’t trust my skills to offer you a well written male lead at this time, but I'm happy to double. However, I am a big fan of NPCs, and will be making many of them male to help me get back up to scratch with writing male characters.
For the same reasoning, I’m also refraining from and romantic pairings that are not hetero at this time. I know I can do FxF or MxM pairings, or at least I used to be able to, but I need a bit of time to get back into the swing of Rping before taking them back on. That being said, I am big fans of buddy-cop or non romantic, same sex pairings.
Communication is big for me. I’m very busy and I’m sure you are too. I just ask if you are taking a large break, please please please just give me a heads up. I’ll make sure to return the favor.
I don’t have any issues with mature themes and writing as long as it’s tasteful. Bring on all the sex drugs and fighting you want, but make it about the story.

While normally I like to stay away from fandoms and such, I can’t resist this world. However, I do ask that if we take this on, we both use our own OC characters and vaults. Just borrowing the environment. Perhaps we’re both in a vault where we have to sacrifice once every year by popular vote. Maybe a vault that at a set time was to release a neurotoxin that causes extreme paranoia. The world is our oyster.

This is an loose idea based on The Twilight Zone’s episode “It’s A Good Life”. While you don’t necessarily have to have seen it, I do highly recommend it just because! 

(Shamelessly taken from Wikipedia’s plot summary) “Six-year-old Anthony Fremont looks like any other little boy, but looks can be deceiving: he is a monster, a mutant with godlike mental powers, including mind reading. Years before, he isolated his town of Peaksville, Ohio. Everybody is under his rule, even his parents. Anthony controls what goes on in the grocery store (Tomato Soup, Ham, etc.); he has also banned soap from the town for a year. He has blocked TV signals, caused cars to not work, and, due to his controlling everything, he does not attend school. 

The children and adults, including his own parents, tiptoe nervously around him, constantly telling him how everything he does is "good," since displeasing him can get them wished away into a mystical "cornfield," an unknown place, from which there is no return. At one point, a dog is heard barking angrily. Anthony thinks the dog is "bad" and doesn't "like [him] at all," and wishes it into the cornfield. His father and mother are horrified, but they dare not show it.”

Our characters are some of the few remaining members of town, doing their best to live by Anthony’s ever-changing rules. Keeping him happy is the only way to survive. Someone can only live like this for so long before they snap. Any when you’ve been bent as far as the townspeople of Peaksville have, snapping comes easily.

What happens when a con artist who performs fake exorcists find themselves in the presence of a real ghost? 

So this might sound like a bad romance novel, but I've had this idea running around about a con artist (more of a group) end up at a circus where things that can't be explained are happening. At first, they are there to figure out how these weird things are occurring, seeing what kind of tricks they can steal for their next con. Soon, they find out that's it's not a ruse, but rather a real live (well dead) ghost/demon. I'm thinking this non-mortal is stuck by some curse/trap by someone else in the circus. The con artist then sets out to help free them without being killed or thrown out. It's all real rough in my mind, but I'm happy to talk through some of my ideas with you if you choose this plot!

This was an old RP I had going but never got more than a handful of posts into. I still have my old introductory post if anyone is interested. The main idea is an alternative history/ Woldenstein-esq (secret operations, occult experiments) WWII plot. In a small, occupied French town, a local girl has joined the secret Resistance against the German occupants. The Germans have recently arrived and started forcibly taking civilians for some kind of horrible experiment, alarming Character B. (Some have played this as an American bomber pilot, others as German occupants, but I'm down for whatever!)

Muse A is part of highly intelligent art thief group that has been constantly plaguing the rich and famous art world for years now. Art of all types go missing only to turn up on the black market. Whoever is helping stage these thefts is quick and smart at what they do, having avoiding any kind of police for years. However, one night when taking newly discovered paintings from a gala event, they run into Muse B, the child of one of the security guards who works at the museum. Either helping them escape or being bought off, their lives quickly become entangled as Muse B is brought into the dark underworld of Muse A.
