Hello, I'm Paracosm. Since it's a commonly asked question:

A paracosm is a detailed imaginary world created inside one's mind. This fantasy world may involve humans, animals, and things that exist in reality; or it may also contain entities that are entirely imaginary, alien, and otherworldly.

I chose my name when I was 13 and had been rping for about a year. I feel like every Role play involves a sort of paracosm, particularly those that include fantasy elements. I think that it's a beautiful thing that we can create a world all our own.

I'd like to clarify that I put 18+ as a tag in my role plays as a precaution NOT because they are full of inappropriate content.

Skills: Ash is a master of sneaking. She moves silently when barefoot and is still nearly undetectable in full armor. She is an advanced archer and is proficient in crafting. She also has a bootknife which she is capable of attacking with in close combat but is not particularly skilled.

Background: When the dead began rising from their graves, Ash's mother and father tried to fight back. In the small ice fishing village of Shi'Hai, there were no trained warriors. The fishermen fought back with large hooks and rods and the women wove their nets in attempt to trap the grave walkers. Those who fought fell quickly. By the time the paladins arrived, there were few survivors. They gathered the orphans, Ash among them, and gave them sanctuary in the Crystal Enclave. Many of the boys were trained as warriors, sent to the front lines when hope was still rational. Most did not return. The girls were not required to fight, but many did. The woman who took care of Ash became her mentor. She taught her to step lightly, spreading her weight evenly through out her feet, and how to breath softly so as not to be heard. The old woman would take her to Vhanis's temple every morning before they began the daily chores. This continued until Ash came of age to join the efforts. She prayed to the deity Vhanis for courage and peace. Vhanis in turn blessed her with silence. For several years Ash infiltrated enemy territory, taking note of their numbers, rate of decay and mobility.
When it became evident that the war was lost and that there would be no more direct attacks on the enemy, Ash realized her skills were no longer needed. She instead turned her attention to the archers. They taught her well, being patient when she failed and encouraging when she succeeded. Eventually she joined their ranks. After several years fighting amongst them and raising in rank until she became the leader of her regiment, she was called for an assignment. A long forgotten warmth trickled into her as she learned of a new hope. She gathered her gear and set off in search of it.

Local law reinforcement tracked her down and asked her for information. She kept the gangs secrets, but is now seen as a threat. Now the gangs Father, Jameson wants her dead. She has moved from place to place ever since. Recently a member found her and shot her. He left her for dead. By sheer luck she survived.
In one hour I'm going to close this for the time being. I can only participate in perhaps 1 or 2 more rps and still be able to respond quickly.

(I was unsure of certain things, such as the deities and Enclaves so I made some up)


Working on a CS. Do we come up with enclave locations and deities on our own or are these specifics you would like to discuss together?
I would be interested in giving this a shot. If possible I would like my character to be the last one to get involved with the romance, that way the first two women will have a chance to blossom.
I feel like this would be interesting but I have never done a group rp without an entire forum dedicated to it. How would responses work without multiple locations. Would it be turn-based or just respond as appropriate?
I have a few ideas that I was wondering if anyone would be interested in. I like to shift between playing male and female characters depending On the type of role play. Due to content, I would prefer to rp over PM.
I tend to write 2 paragraph or more responses and I would prefer that you do the same, however I do understand that in fast paced moments this can be difficult and I am okay with one paragraph responses so long as they are high quality and contain enough detail to reply to. I will be active nearly every day and will post responses in a timely manner. If I am unable to respond for several days, I will try to inform you. Please only engage in an rp with me if you will be active and let me know if you lose interest. I am open to ideas for plot changes and/or any rp ideas you may have.

Here are some role plays I would be interested in. We can get into details together.

-Vampire/human- where I would play the male vampire and you would play the female human. The details of this can be discussed over PM as I am unsure if the content is appropriate.

-supernatural male/human female- where I would play the human and you would play the supernatural creature. I would prefer this to be a dark and twisted romance, perhaps with some violence.

-Demon male/human female- in which I would play the human female and you would play the demon male. I would prefer that this romance would take awhile to twelve into.

I really enjoy most any supernatural romance plot and I am open to ideas.
PM me if you are interested. I also don't mind Ooc chat and getting to know the people I rp with, so long as it is kept separate from the role play.
