Current Think I'm gonna finally get to RPing here. Don't know if I'm gonna commit, don't know where to start, and don't know what I'm gonna do, but I'm gonna do it.

I've had Johnny Cash on my mind all day. Can't get "When the Man Comes Around" out of my head. Tempted to let it influence some writing or make it a character's "theme"

I'm a bit scattered brained lately, so if I need to respond to a roleplay response, just remind me, I could've forgotten.

Finally done with the college semester, so I decided to treat myself to a expensive burger and a walk on the beach

Finally got Kokotha thread up. It's gonna be awkward in the first day of moving it here.

Bio

Hello, I am Patches

I roleplay as a hobby, as well as designing OCs to be used in various types of roleplays. No matter the setting, I believe I have one just for the situation.

It's all good
The room he had entered into looked to be a bedroom of sorts. A large king sized bed in the center of the room. A fire place just across from it. Among other things, there was a vanity desk, and a few paintings in the room. Everything looked well kept, the bed made, not a spot of dust on the desk or fireplace mantle, and the paintings were kept in remarkable condition.

As for the paintings, they were all grey in color. Mostly drawings of the outside world, made in water color. Their messy appearance gave a more vague depiction of what the paintings portrayed; the courtyard outside the window, a young straight haired girl, and what looked like a fearsome ghoulish face.

Down the hall, a sound could be heard. A quiet, humming sound, like a young girl singing to herself.

Are you posting? Been waiting on a response for a while now.

Grapevine works! He said, getting up, putting money down on the table. You can find me there, just ask for me and I'll likely be there. If not, then hopefully we'll run into each other somewhere else. Maybe he'd run into the others in the meantime. He saw them as being helpful in the future as well. Until then, see you when I see you.
@MercuryNH

Have someway to contact me? Does your house have a phone? Did she have a house? She mentioned living on the lamb, didn't she? Maybe a meet up place. I usually hang out at the speakeasies or the Grapevine.

Yeah... Gregor said, nodding, ...And while the Universal Machine's technology looks fancy and sleek, even with their fancy servos, they can't beat the style and finesse of a rune-based flintlock~ He said with a chuckle. Flintlocks weren't used at all in Kokotha except by the occasional collector. The gun itself didn't always matter if you wanted the barebones of magic capabilities after all.

Tell you what, kid, meet up with me again? I might have a job for you if you need money. No dirty work. No law breaking. I'll be the only one getting my hands dirty. Hate to have you break laws for money as an adult.

Io growled in pain as the shard sliced her open. Feathers and blood sprouted from her face. This is nothing. she told herself, rubbing at her face, It doesn't hurt! No amount of pain or agony was enough to stop the shrike. Especially pain inflicted by such a weak tyrant. You want out huh...? You want to help?!

Io's thoughts were cut off as something hit the side of the building. Sending the Daybreaker flying out Debris giving way beneath her and debris falling above her. Large chunks of rock and rebar, falling on top of her, capable of crushing an average human to a paste. Through her one eye, the world was spinning, unable to keep her barrings on things.

As the dust cleared, a pile of stone was left on top of an adjacent building where Io had landed, blood pooling out from underneath it. Nothing but silence for a few seconds. Then, a rumbling came out from underneath the rubble. The stones began to shift, something coming out from underneath.

A giant wing. Two more. Then, all at once, 6 wings erupted from the pile of rubble; each of them attached to Io. Taking one of the stone feathers protruding from her cheek, she crushed it in her hand. If you want to help make yourself useful! You serve me, not the other way around, got that?!

Such anger, such pride, such superiority~ the demon within Io chuckled, That's what I like about you~
Forgot to post. I'll try to get to it after work

Broke her arm by punching a guy too hard. He hated to be on the receiving and giving end of that. That was exactly why he didn't like to fight with his fists unless necessary. At the mentioned of the previous job being her most difficult, he nodded, acknowledging it. It's been years since a job that difficult

Yoshimi sounds like a tough girl. Those Universal Machine types... Love what they're doing for the country. Love the progress they're making from around the world. I just don't think I can see eye to eye with a lot of them.
Not all bad. Some generally nasty people. If you ever get into the business, it's a rule of thumb to avoid the Drekka unless you know what you're doin', but I think you're already aware of that fact. he chuckled, pulling the color of his shirt down a bit til his collar bone was visible. Just below his collarbone was a small, circular scar. Got this from a Drekka "tax collector", due to a argument turned sour; just a hair off from being a lethal blow. Left me for dead at the side of the road in West Kokotha. Pulling the collar of his shirt back up, he nodded, What about you? Any nasty stories? This old man has plenty of his own to share.
