Current Think I'm gonna finally get to RPing here. Don't know if I'm gonna commit, don't know where to start, and don't know what I'm gonna do, but I'm gonna do it.

I've had Johnny Cash on my mind all day. Can't get "When the Man Comes Around" out of my head. Tempted to let it influence some writing or make it a character's "theme"

I'm a bit scattered brained lately, so if I need to respond to a roleplay response, just remind me, I could've forgotten.

Finally done with the college semester, so I decided to treat myself to a expensive burger and a walk on the beach

Finally got Kokotha thread up. It's gonna be awkward in the first day of moving it here.

Bio

Hello, I am Patches

I roleplay as a hobby, as well as designing OCs to be used in various types of roleplays. No matter the setting, I believe I have one just for the situation.

Thanks for understanding. Feel free to retcon Io out. I prefer that to her dying or something along those lines. I just don't think I can keep interested at this rate
Been busy with either working or playing P5
I'll try to stay interested in the rp but I've been finding it hard to get completely invested tbh

"The people here are quite friendly. I've found that Kokothans are rather open to new things. Forgive the stereotype." Standing in front of the blackboard Hueco began to write, looking at a piece of paper in his hand, his tail swaying back and forth as if he was excited. Well... They didn't send me here for this. I've been here for a bit over a month. THey just choose me because what we're dealing with has to do with Amalgamates. Hueco said, finishing drawing on the blackboard. The image drawn resembled a pair of wings with a crown floating above them... His art skills were a bit lacking, but at least it was apparent what it was suppose to be. Below the wings were the words "The Radiance."

@Ember Storm
This. Hueco said, pointing to the symbol. In recent times, this group has become quite popular within the country of Aubune. For an explanation if you're not aware, the Universal Machine lacks a branch in Aubune. We're planning on changing that. However before that can be done, the Universal Machine plans on making an alliance with this group. As Hueco spoke he began to write footnotes of what he was saying on the board. The Radiance is a enigmatic group... A group of monks who live alongside Amalgamates. Strangest of all, their number is surprisingly large. No one knows just how many countries they are in but their base of operations is in Aubune. Making an alliance with them would come with two benefits: It'd allow us to possibly understand things about Amalgamates we do not know and help us get a foothold in Aubune... Plus, having allies is a big plus. The Radiance doesn't seem like the type I'd like to anger... Any questions?
@Leotamer
A prison of sorts? Shen-Mu spoke up, breaking her silence. ...A high security one at that. Cannot be entered or exited. Pondering for a moment, the medium hummed, A place to rest will be good. I have had a long flight and car ride... A place to lie down would be good.
The humming was coming from down the hall in a room to the left, likely the room next door. There were more paintings on the walls. They looked like rooms in the house, but they continued to have the same appearance as the last ones; gray and rather messy, giving only a vague depiction of what the painting was of. Yet, they weren't terrible, despite their messy appearance.

No one was in the hallway though. Empty as the room he came in. All that was him, his avian companion, and a strange singing voice.
The beastkin carried himself with a polite stance. Standing up staight, keeping a friendly tone, maybe a bit too passive.

@Yomojo
Bowing, the beastkin properly introduced himself.Forgive me. You're not in trouble. All your questions will be answered in due time. Once formalities are out of the way. I am Hueco. Assistant Head Researcher of Amalgamate Research at the Gishkhan Branch. I was transferred here last month on orders from my boss. He said, showing his badge. Right there, below his name, was the aforementioned title. Looks like he wasn't kidding around.

@Ember Storm
Uh... Hueco waved a dismissive hand. Please no smoking here. It may disturb some of the creatures here. Plus, he had a sensitive nose. Smells of smoke, especially cigar smoke, were far too pungent for him. Putting a hand over his nose, he tried to not take in any of the fumes. "I can smell it from here!"

@Ember Storm@Yomojo
With his hand still over his nose, he continued. Follow me... It is just you two and myself for now. He said, as he opened the door to the next room. There, was a small meeting room of sorts. A table with chairs, a blackboard and some chalk, no details around the room, just your ordinary, sterile meeting room.

The Amalgamate Research Branch was always stereotyped as "that" research branch among those who made their stay at Ammonia Avenue. Their research after all, was centered around the studying of monsters that were once Casters, ones that were once friends and family. As the two would pass through the facility they would see the fruits of the branch's labor. Some caged Amalgamates, being kept docile via void stone, amalgamate runes being tested out, and in one testing chamber was a strange, ape like amalgamate, being taught sign language by a pair of researchers. From its body language and its docile nature, it was as if it could understand humans.

As the pair would reach the meeting location, they would come face to face with a youthful looking Beastkin standing in front of the door to the meeting location. From his facial features and tan skin, he must've been from the Gishkan Branch. What was someone from Gishka doing all the way in Kokotha over a meeting?

Juniper? Isambard? Are you the two who got the message? he said, plainly and professionally.
Far in the western desert of Kokotha, there lied a large industrial complex. Towering metal buildings, shining in the desert, away from society; allowing them to test any inventions freely before they are released to the general public or for testing dangerous ones away from anyone who could be hurt.

This was the Kokothan Branch of the Universal Machine's base of operations, Ammonia Avenue. Both the residence of some of their best and brightest and their CEO. From things to weapon development to better serve the Kokothan Military, Amalgamate Research to better understand what the creatures were, how they acted, and how they could benefit the world, and even things like general inventing on things that could be used by people around the world. It was no surprise that a common saying there was that no one could stop the progress that the Universal Machine was making.

It was here a meeting was called to a number of the members there. A letter would arrive to them, requesting to come to the Amalgamate Research Branch. What it could be was undisclosed, being labeled only as "matters to be discussed in person."
Taking the charm bracelet, having a bit of trouble grabbing it at first, the blind medium nodded.
I don't like this place She said, plainly, being up front with her feelings, I sense nothing but a void there. She said, turning in direction of the house, reaching out to touch the gate. What is this place? Something to mask the area?

She didn't acknowledge the others out loud, but in her head, she was paying attention to what they were doing. As everyone presented their SEO licenses, Shen-Mu reached into her coat pocket and removed a small, wallet. Opening it up, she showed the inside of it to her. There, inside where someone's driver's license would be, was her silver level SEO license. Putting it back, she adjusted her blindfold, humming, Surprised?

HK

Did she love herself? HK did feel good about herself and her skills, but did she truly love herself as much as Trish did? But yet, no matter how proud she felt about her skills or her body, she often wondered what others thought. Did she really feel proud of herself? She often found herself bashful about her size, always standing a head above other girls and some of the guys and sticking out like a sore thumb. HK put her drink down, pondering this.

But as Trish whispered in her ear, the large succubus flushed red. She's so close to me!

"Er... That's not an image I want in my head... The emporer and Luke doing it... She said, saying the first words that came to mind.
