@Hawthorne Very hard question to answer but from what I'm writing religions still do exist but instead they depict different variations of god's form and each religion has a different analysis of how they go acting their will.
@Hawthorne While set in 3000 bc, technology-wise I'll just set it at a renaissance level so crossbows, catapults, all that fun stuff will exist all because of human advancements due to gifts.

This character sheet is simply a prototype and while it may be the actual character sheet it is very much likely susceptible to change. I'm just wanting to see the span of everyone's characters and what everybody has in mind!
And in regards to the setting, the year will be somewhere around 3000 BC, I'm currently having difficulties with specifying the setting as it is very much our past with a fantasy twist and the active existence of God so I'm figuring out how to go about that, and because of the introduction of gifts technology is also advanced so if you guys want to do renaissance themed characters I am all for that, please don't force yourself to heavily dive into history as it doesn't matter that much.
If ya'll have any sort of questions please ask as I am currently finishing up the lore!
And forgive my dependency on you guys! I am just making sure that everything is to everyones interest so that we can all have fun >:O I'm not the best storyteller but I've had this prompt for a while and I wanna represent it properly c;
First Crusade - 20 years (Appearance of Gift, rough battle of reclaiming minor territories and stability. )
Second Crusade - 14 years (Stability and reclamation efforts of major civilizations )
Third Crusade - 30 ( The March of Fate, a million gathering on a march in the reclamation of Egypt ( where the abyss is )
Fourth Crusade, 10 (Fighting demonic forces in Egypt, at its end began construction of the castle on the abyss. )
Fifth Crusade ( Current crusade, the castle is completed, soldiers begin descending into the abyss. )
If intelligence is the only ability score that we can find I may end up adding ability scores like
Elemental and then Mystic scores defining the line between the control of in-world objects and then creating things such as lightning bolts or summonable shields and swords.
- And then Spirit, practically the mana of both gifts. The main problem is figuring out a secondary ability score that ISN'T spirit as it also factors in all the ability scores. Frankly, I have no idea what use I have for the wisdom ability score as that sort of relates to divinity type magic or holy magic, and essentially all types of feats and spellcasting are innately holy.
@Hawthorne@TheMushroomLord Thank you for both of you suggestions I will be taking them both into account as I create the system and the character sheets! I appreciate the help and I hope everyone can do the same! ^^
Aside from that, not much else is in my way, after this post, I'll be updating the final part of the gifts section which is the addition of the physical description and then it'll just be a light explanation of the setting and who your character is and thereafter will be the space detailing the system and sheets!
Everything should be ready by Wednesday! ^^ And if not around midnight ;p

Some major changes I ended up making were the removal of distortions which would've been the explanation for races though I can still add it in if ya'll would like a variety of humanoids to play as!
Yay! I'm so glad that you're interested @Luminosity hopefully whatever decision we or I make it'll benefit us all.
Also! I'm glad to announce that I've finally gone through the block that I've been blinded by, which was the spiritual category of gift users. I hope ya'll like its setup and if not please give me suggestions!
After this, updates should be flying by I am already working on the character sheets and stat setup!
