Kusari found herself face down in a puddle of mud, her legs aching as they began to heal. She couldn't stand up yet, so she didn't bother doing more than sit up and look around with a dazed expression. She focused on the pier, and was distraught to see that they had failed to stop the amigos from escaping. If Angel was with them, she was far out of reach now. She couldn't help but wonder who it was that had enough power to create a tidal wave of that size. If they had that much power surely they could have used it from the start? As Kusari was drowning in self pity she noticed a stinging pain searing up her leg. You have got to be kidding me. Zoe was seriously doing this, right now.

She looked to the redhead and instantly frowned. The girl had lost it, blathering to herself with a crazed smile plastered on her face. This was the last time she trusted an Aberration with her body. She let out a sigh and went to cut off her leg in an attempt to halt the rot, but it was too late. Her heart skipped a beat, and her eyes opened wide in shock and fear.

She could feel it spreading through in her body, destroying her insides. A normal person would be dead, but Kusari was very much alive, and very much in extreme pain. "Stop it stop it stop it stop stop stop!" She yelled as her gut poured open like a rotting caracass. She dropped to her knees, which then gave out like moldy chopsticks. She fell to her hands as the rot began to reach her brain.

She screamed at Zoe as blood poured from her mouth, not even realizing she was speaking Japanese as her brain broke down, not that it mattered as she was speaking gibberish. Her consciousness was fading, and she didn't know if she was dying or simply passing out. She was scared, she didn't want to die after all, not like this. "Daddy, Where? I'm sorry. Why?" Her mind played random events in her head like a chopped up film. But she couldn't see her father's face, it was blurred out like ink smeared wet, her last thoughts before she stopped consciously thinking. Her body convulsed and she fell to the ground, her eyes empty.

Oh this is full now? I was working on a character... Can I join if people drop out?
"How are these things still coming!?" Kusari screamed as she tore into another tree. For every one they destroyed another just replaced it, at this rate they'd get nowhere. As she sliced through another trunk with her claws the sandstorm suddenly increased in ferocity. She winced as sand caused nicks in her skin. She could ignore it as her magic would heal it, but the others didn't have that luxury.

Ernest's voice spoke through her cuff, he wanted to retreat? Kusari shook her head as if he were right there. She didn't want to run away, not now. They were trying so hard to keep them away, she wanted to know why. Why come here just to then turn tail and escape?

Even still, regrouping and coming up with a plan would be a good idea. Kusari ran back to the front of the lighthouse to meet the others. As she arrived she ran into Callan and Sander. She looked towards the direction their fight had taken place, the large monster was gone. As expected of Callan and Sander she supposed. Regardless, she was glad they were alright.

As Kusari was about to speak she heard Allison's voice transmit to her. For a moment she froze in place. Angel being taken made sense, it would explain why they didn't want them to get close, and why they wanted to escape so quickly. Allison's voice seemed odd, but she didn't dwell on it.

"I'll g- Transmit, I'll go. Whatever it takes to get her back I'll do it. End transmission."
Seems that way, unfortunately.
Kusari blinked and squinted her eyes at the scene outside a lighthouse window. She couldn't see as well as she wanted with the storm already, but now sand was rampaging around too. Even still, she was able to make out the raised wall in the distance, along with what looked like a blurry black figure with a small army of... trees? Kusari scrambled to a corner of the room and grabbed the axe she'd brought with her. She didn't give herself time to think about the pain she was about to inflict upon herself, she simply swung.

The sharp edge of the axe sliced into her arm just below her shoulder. She grit her teeth and swung again, her thin pale arm falling to the floor. She flopped onto her backside and took the axe to her right leg as her left arm began to reform, cutting just below her hip. So much blood, her fake school uniform was soiled in red. Oh well, she had more. Her left arm had formed by now, she took her all too familiar claws and sliced her right arm off. She was about to take off her left leg when she looked at her cuff. She looked back to one of the maids.

"I need to take this off, don't freak out, alright!?" She said more aggressively than intended, but to be fair she was also in far more pain than intended. Off went her left leg as well, and as soon as it was the cuff's alarm went off. She hoped someone could turn the damn thing off, but she didn't think anyone was in a position to do that at the moment. She clumsily shoved the cuff into her pocket and ran outside to Callan once her other leg had formed. She choose for all of her limbs to have claws, and it was the first time she'd done so. Unlike the other times she had monstrous limbs she was balanced and felt she could move much easier.

"I can't just sit here, they're blocking our way out, if we just wait we'll be like fish in a barrel. We've got no choice but to fight!" Kusari vehemently disagreed with Callan's idea of staying inside. It wasn't as if the lighthouse was a fort or castle, they were effectively backing themselves into a corner by staying inside. Kusari braced herself for combat, insisting to herself that she wouldn't let anything past her. They had to break through and make a path for the ferry.
Kusari let out a heavy sigh as she watched Chris leave. Looks like they were going to end up fighting after all. She couldn't see them making it to the ferry in time now, not with people missing. She rubbed the surface of the gun she'd taken with her thumb, her mind forcing her to think about Gregory. She didn't even get to know him, and just like that he was gone. Ah... I really can't take this. She could feel herself starting to become numb to the notion of death, as if it were bad enough that she felt numb to living.

She didn't want to die, no, more like she was starting to not care either way. The good in life was meant to offset how terrible things could be, but it seemed as if justice was blind and therefore had no idea that the scales had long since tipped far off balance.

Kusari grinded her teeth in irritation, this wasn't the time to be thinking so much. She stood from the bottom of the lighthouse's staircase and looked up. She was tempted to follow after Emma and Marcus, but she didn't want to leave the front entrance unattended. She was curious about the blood as well, but indulging curiosity for curiosity's sake seemed like a foolish thing to do in this circumstance. "If you two see anything bad, call out to us!" She yelled just loud enough for the two of them to hear her.
Honestly if fast moving robots is too out there you may end up asking a lot of questions in the future.
It's not weak to the point that it'd break apart from it's speed. And it's not all titanium, there's also synthetic material in them that would absorb some of the impact from moving.
