Haha I know I was like shiiiit. I could have made it more evenly matched but I just went with a random selection. Anyways I'm on for a little bit right now so I'm going to work on the IC and get this thing up and running.

edit: Also Derp were you saying that the name is supposed to be Kyler, or were you pointing out that it wasn't supposed to be kyler? I was pretty tired so I probably just messed up. Also I edited your characters weight, I kinda thought he wasn't 40. That seemed a little bit skinny.

We have 8 gladiators, perfect! this will work out great. I have all of the characters in the first post, and I am now working on setting up the fights. We'll be started soon.

Edit: Right now I've got to sleep actually. I made a random bracket. Here it is so you can look at the upcoming fights at least, and then hopefully by tonight I will have the IC up and we can begin posting.

History: It all started when Aiden was born. Aiden was born to parents who lived in the streets and didn't want children, and because of this he didn't receive the right care and love to properly develop. Aiden didn't receive the love he needed within the first 7 month of his infancy and as a result he developed without a conscience. It wasn't long before he was taken away and put up for adoption. At the orphanage they always knew that he was different. Nobody seemed to want to adopt him, and all the other children didn't take kindly to him. Little did they know he couldn't differentiate between good and evil. Everything around him was just another mean to an end. Everyone, and everything was his tool. After years of controlling the children in the orphanage the long awaited day came when Aiden turned 18.

When he turned 18 Aiden knew exactly what he wanted to do, and how he was going to achieve it. He started in the oil industry. Not manual labor, such as working where the oil was collected, but in the offices. It didn't pay as much but for what Aiden wanted he needed to start here. When he was in the interview he could tell that they were not likely to hire him so he changed that. He used pity. He told the interviewer his situation, and how bad he was in need of a job and how hard he would work on this job. It worked, the lady interviewing him felt sorry and gave him the job. Unfortunately everything he had said was true, and he was in fact homeless. But there were tools all around him. He used places like the homeless shelter to stay at until he could afford a cheap apartment.

It wasn't long until he was able to move up the ladder. He had proved that he was a fast learner and could do any job better than his coworkers. By time he was 20 he was working with some of the top dogs at the company. He had accelerated at an alarmingly fast pace. Then one day Aiden was talking with the CEO on the balcony of his 32nd floor penthouse. The CEO was just passing through town and had heard how Aiden had accelerated through the ranks so he invited Aiden over to congratulate him personally. Aiden likes what he saw in this penthouse and wanted it. He was making more than enough for the average person, but it wasn't all about making money. He wanted control of the company.

Aiden looked down from the balcony, it was a long way down. Without a second thought Aiden stepped back then lifted the CEO over the balcony and threw him over the edge. Luckily Aiden decided to stay in shape, unlike the overweight pompous CEO, or ex CEO, of the company. Aiden smiled and dialed 911. He was able to play off panicked pretty well, and told them how everything seemed fine then made up a story about how the man's life was in shambles, then he leaped from the balcony to end his life. Of course being the good guy he was tried to stop him but couldn't hold on. Everything played out perfectly.

With no CEO the position was open, and Aiden could finally take the next step on the ladder he had been climbing. When the board of directors met to discuss who would be the next CEO Aiden came in extremely aggressive. He stated his case and pushed to get this position. Not many really agreed, so Aiden collected himself and explained exactly why he thought he should be the new CEO. After hearing him out they decided they would give him a chance. After all he had made it this far in only two years, imagine how much further he could take the company with ambitions like these?

The next year was the time of his life. He was traveling around the world, using his company to play games around the globe. It was his dream, to be entertained at last. What he didn't know is that not everyone believed his predecessor would have committed suicide. His wife was left with his inheritance and also collected a large life insurance policy, she used her wealth to fund an investigation. It took some time but they finally got enough evidence to prosecute Aiden Kaiser for murder. Aiden had made a huge mistake, the surrounding buildings had camera's. It had taken some time to find all of the right angles to determine that it was in fact murder, but they did it. He tried to buy his way out but unfortunately the small fortune he had amassed during his time as CEO wasn't enough to fight the wealth of his predecessor and his wife's insurance money.

In the past three years of his life Aiden had risen to the top of a huge oil corporation, and now was going to be competing in the Colosseum. How Ironic, he always fancied the show. Even attended an event once.

Specialty: Aiden is a user and a deceiver. He's also extremely smart. He uses his speed and agility to maneuver around his opponents, and uses his knowledge of the human body to take his opponent down. (while working at the company he took a course about the human anatomy in his spare time). His weapons of choice are small knives or daggers, and on occasion will use a shield.

Yeah I was going to say that as well, it's all good as long as you fix his weight you're fine. Everyone is accepted, just remember there are no guns or bows and arrows. Item's you are able to throw, and slingshots are allowed though. And I'm not too sure about the commentator. What does everyone else think?

Asylum

I followed Vlad out of the room we had met in to go see what this gym class was going to be. I noticed Esther was no longer in this room. What ever could have happened to her... As we walked out into the main lobby area he saw someone else knew, someone in a wheel chair. I couldn't help but smile thinking of the irony, gym class for a cripple. This should be entertaining. When he said children, it hit a sour note with me. I could completely overshadow a simple doctor for some asylum if I could only get out.

Glad to see such a great turn out! I'm reading the character sheets now so the the IC should be up tonight. Also unfortunately I didn't mention, there will be no guns. Throwing knives, spears, and things you can chuck with your hands will be fine. I'll accept sling shots as well. But as for guns and bows and arrows there will be none of those. Anyways I'll be back momentarily to accept character sheet's and get this show on the road!

"Ow what the fuck!" I shouted, the random jab in the arm was quite startling, and painful. "Isn't there supposed to be some sort of vein you put it in, not just jabbing it in my arm?" I questioned. "Are you sure you know what you're doing?" I asked looking at the blood that was flowing out of my body. What if this man was crazier than all of us? I mean I had blood drawn before. Even though we were in a mental institution we still needed to get annual check ups. This was not how blood was drawn. Instantly Aiden knew he had to do something, because this wasn't right. Luckily he had nothing to hold him back. He just had to think of a way to either escape this prison, or drive the doctor away.

Coming to a television station near you! Many people have complained about how we spend too much money on our prisoners, and how they're treated to well. Well now things are changing, just like everyone has asked! Now instead of spending money on the criminally insane, we will boost the economy with them! Modern day arena's are being built around the world, In them any criminal with a life sentence will be sent to a battle. These battles will be much like the Gladiator games of old, but a little more modern! Now featuring baseball bats, crow bars, and many more weapons to choose from! The contestants will be kept in conditions not even fit for animals to live in, like the scum they are! Also we will be featuring in arena, and online betting for all! So what are you waiting for, and order Colosseum on HBO now!

The government of the United States has made it possible to pit criminals against each other for profit and broadcast it on television. By doing this they not only make a profit on the television show, but save money by keeping the criminals in the worst conditions imaginable with only enough food to stay healthy. No amenities, just a bed and an open area for whatever the criminals may want to use it for. As the criminals win they receive only a portion of the prize money and are allowed to buy weapons and armor for the arena. Tickets will be available for those who want to see the fight in person. These games will be much like the old games, as has been stated, The criminals can be purchased, and will be treated as property. If a criminal is owned it will be the owners responsibility to keep him under lock and key, and to keep him fed enough to fight.

Crime: Two bank heists, murder of his own family and rape.

History: Growing up in the run-down parts of Chicago, Kyle had seen some messed up shit. His parents beat him and his siblings were assholes. And from it, he decided: He had an ambition. An ambition for wealth. For power. To achieve this, he had to take out one of his major annoyances: His family. A brutal slaughter when he was eighteen. Afterwards, he had found a girl from his old high school. What transpired had alot of screaming, crying and an alleyway. At the age of twenty five, he had formed a gang and robbed a bank, drilling into the vault and taking the money. But he wanted more. He did another bank robbery: This time, he was caught. He was brought to death row, before being sent to the Colosseum to fight other prisoners and be betted on. And that brings us to now.

Specialty: Blunt objects and ranged weapons.

Jarred Walston

Name: Jarred Walston

Looks: Jarred has naturally stiff dirty blonde hair which he keep fairly short. He has a beard that consists of basically anywhere facial hair can grow. He has a fairly muscular build and can lift his own in body weight. He has a bit of fat on him.

Crime: accused of murder

History: Jarred had a normal upbringing. He did ok in school played on the football team and so on. When he grew up and left his home and began working as a construction worker. One day while taking a lunch brake at his site but he was interrupted sirens and when the sirens came just across the road he got worried. There had been a murder across the street in the alley way and the murder weapon had been Jarred's old construction hat which he claimed to have lost a day prior. With the only finger prints being Jarred's he was naturally convicted of the crime and sent to the colosseum.

Specialty: He's good with his fists, shield and blunt weapons.

Ken Hall

Name: Ken Hall

Crime: He would knock people unconscious and put them in large holes, then when they woke up, he poured blood in the holes, so that the blood was up to their necks. after a while of them sitting in the blood, he would cut off their arms and let them die.

History: Ken was born and raised as an only child. When he was six, his father mother and father were murdered, and this scarred Ken, making him insane. He was then raised in an orphanage, that was abusive and would beat him and make him do physical labor for hours every day, causing him to slowly go into insanity. Finally, when he turned nineteen, he knocked random people, who were unlucky enough to walk by his alleyway, unconscious, and he would take them and put them in holes. Then, he would go and kidnap random people, and murder them. He would then steal their blood. He took buckets of blood at a time and go back to the people in the holes, where he would pour the blood into the hole, and it would go up to their necks. He would leave them there for hours, and then he would cut there arms off, causing them to feel intense pain, and then die. He was eventually found when he had knocked a lady unconscious while a police was watching, making him end up in The Colosseum .

Specialty: He's good with knives, cleavers, basically anything sharp and melee. He's also very fast and swift. His insanity makes him do crazy things.

Sophia LeBlanc

Name: Sophia LeBlanc

Age: 16.

Height: 4' 8''.

Weight: 103 lbs.

Crime: Murder.

History: Sophia was born and raised in downtown Manhattan in New York. Her father was the leader of an infamous motorcycle gang called "The Reaper's Blades", so he told her stories about his crimes and the like. Her mother, on the other hand, was as well-behaved as an angel sent down from heaven to protect those that are pure of heart. She worked in a motorcycle shop. However, this choice of a profession wasn't the wisest considering what her husband did for a living. After she came home from school one day, her parents were having an argument upstairs over her father's motorcycle accidentally getting a large dent during its remodeling. Her father was incredibly conscious towards things like this, so he threatened to kill her if she didn't fix it right away, free of charge. Sophia's mother, being the angel she is, had to refuse, otherwise her boss would have to fire her. At this point, Sophia gathered up her courage and peeked into her parents' upstairs room just in time to see her father stab his wife through the heart with one of his many various knives. Sophia was traumatized by this scene, and had one thing on her mind: Revenge. She made a mad dash towards the cupboard where her father kept his knives, and grabbed two: one for throwing and another for stabbing and possibly slashing. She ran back to her parents' room and threw a butcher knife at one of her father's eyes, blinding and stunning him, and ran towards him. When she reached her father, she drew a combat knife from its sheath and repeatedly stabbed and cut her father, only stopping when civilians noticed the window stained with blood and called the NYPD. By this point, her father was beyond dead: He was slaughtered. When the police arrested her and demanded she explain herself, she had but one thing to say: "I was just avenging a fallen angel."

Specialty: Weapons such as swords, knives, and lightweight spears. So mainly light to medium weaponry, which doesn't include axes, hammers, etc. mind you. Those things would strain Sophia's back so damn much.

Grace Tully

Name: Grace Tully
Age: 20
Height: A whopping 5'0", even with her shoes on.
Weight: 95 lbs, soaking wet.

Grace isn't what one would consider a threat, due to her stunted growth as a child. She's short, her frame is slight, and try though she may, she's never managed to tip the scale much past 100 lbs. What little muscle she has consists primarily of fast-twitch fibres. She's quick, but not powerful enough to hold her own in hand-to-hand combat. A single punch would send her down.

Her dark hair is too fine to be restrained by a ponytail. As a result, pieces are often falling out, hanging in haphazard layers around her face. Even her expression is one of deceptive innocence. With large, dark, eyes and a small mouth, her features resemble a child's. Most people make their mistake by instinctively trusting her.

Crime:
Grace is a feminist and a sadist. Her crimes consist of nine counts of torture and murder over the course of four years, nearly all of the victims male.

History:
Grace grew up in a strictly Catholic home in rural Maine. Though her parents hated each other, the divorce that should have happened shortly after Grace's birth never went through. Her father was abusive, her mother perpetually depressed. Grace is unable to remember a time when there weren't bruises on her body from both her parents. Although the idea of religion was beat into her weekly, she was never able to consider the idea of a God. No greater power would let her live the life she'd been forced into. They say some people get pushed over the edge. That they reach their limit and just snap. If some people are pushed...Grace Tully jumped.

Her first double-murder was weeks in the preparation. She was sixteen years old. She planned out every detail with uncanny accuracy. When her parents came home on November the 24th, she hid in the shadows of their run-down home. A frying pan to the head knocked them unconscious. Hours of knives, irons, and screaming later, they both lay in an unmoving heap on the kitchen floor. Grace ran.

She made it to New York City, where her crimes continued. Filled with a hatred towards everyone who took away the power of another, she made it her goal to end their lives. Abusive parents and rapists topped her list. Her crimes were always flawless. No trace evidence whatsoever.

When she heard about the potential of the Colosseum, she allowed herself to slip up. She left a trail of evidence on her last murder just wide enough to be followed, without being suspicious. Because Grace knew that the Colosseum would be filled with vicious murderers, rapists, and lord only knows what else. The exact sort of people she had made it her goal to end.

Specialty: Grace is deceptive. If it suits her, she will play the part of the frightened little girl in order to get pity from her victims, and then strike when they don't expect it. In other cases, she relies on stealth. Grace can hide in the smallest of corners, waiting to bash skulls with a heavy object. From there, her style consists of a very slow, very painful, death. Only after she's made her victim pronounce a verbal apology for their crimes will she let them die.

Aleksey Litovchenko

History: Aleksey was born in the port city of Odessa, Ukraine. He and his parents moved to Los Angeles, USA when Aleksey was 7 years old, seeking a better life. Although life in a foreign country proved to be harder then it would seem at a first glance, he and his family adapted quite well. Teachers loved Aleksey because he was a good and hard working kid. As a teenager he started to take lessons in mixed martial arts and at the age of 22, after a couple of years of fighting as an amateur, he signed a contract with UFC and began his career as a pro. His debut was sensational, with a KO victory in the 2nd round against a much tougher and more experienced oponent. At the time, many argued that if he would continue this way he would become a very successfull and appreciated fighter. Which he did. Throughout the course of 5 years, from the age of 22 to the age of 27, Aleksey fought in 11 matches, winning all of them, out of which 8 were KO's.

One day, after a routine drug test which he had to do, illegal substances were discovered in his body. From that point forward Aleksey's career went downhill. He was stripped of the Light Heavyweight title that he won in his 9th match and he was also cut from the UFC effective imidieatly. After that Aleksey was done as an MMA fighter. Fortunately for him, his wife Juliet stood by his side in those dark times. Using the money he won from fighting, Aleksey and his wife moved to Miami, Florida, where they bought a nice house in Dade County. Aleksey also opened a gym where he trained in MMA anyone willing to learn. What was interesting about him and what attracted people to his gym was the fact that the price for the training was not standard and Aleksey was willing to negociable if some people wanted to train but they didn't have too much money. The place was administered by his wife.

One night Aleksey and Juliet were coming outside of a restaurant. As they were crossing the street towards the parking lot where Aleksey's car was, they were both hit by two guys which apparently were having a street race. Due to his toughness, Aleksey survived with just a couple of bruises and 3 broken ribs. His wife on the other hand, suffered very serious damage and ended in a coma at the hospital. After two weeks of investigation the police discovered the two racers and arrested them. One of them died though, because he opposed arrest and attacked the cop with was forced to shoot him down. The other one however, managed to escape prison because he had certain important friends that lended him a hand. The cops that investigated the case apologised to Aleksey and said that they really can't do anything anymore.

It was then when Aleksey took matters into his own hands and decided that if justice won't be delivered to him and his broken wife which was lying in a coma on a hospital bed then he will do justice himself by punishing the man responsible for the situation. One night as the man left his car shop and headed home, Aleksey followed and kidnapped him, taking him into a secluded place where he comfronted him, tortured him and eventually killed him by setting him on fire. After that event, Aleksey became a shadow of his former self. He succumbed to alcohol and started smoking marijuana. He was even close to losing his gym because of debts that were piling up, but some of his friends helped him with money. Juliet's sister told Aleksey that he needs to return to the man he used to be and stay strong for his wife, but that was one fight that Aleksey could not win even if he would try.

One night while Aleksey was walking on the streets with no aim whatsoever, he stumbled upon a hooker who started hitting on him. At that point Aleksey snapped, dragged the hooker into an alley and started beating the living daylights out of her, releasing all of the frustration that gathered in him all this time. As he was doing that, two large men, dressed in black suits came from behind and started beating up Aleksey, these men possibly worked for the hooker's pimp. Unfortunately for them Aleksey had a folding knife with him, which he used, killing both men. After that he walked away as if nothing happened. The next morning cops were at his door. Aleksey was arrested and sent to prison. His trial was very short, as Aleksey declared himself guilty of the crimes he was convicted of: 2 counts of murder and assault and battery.

But at the same trial, to everyone's surprise, Aleksey confessed that he also tortured and killed Billy McIntyre, a 28 year old street racer, and one of the two people that hit him and his wife that night some time ago. He recounted in detail exactly how everything happened and also said that he filmed the whole thing and that he has a tape back home. The cops found the tape and next day in a short session of his trial, Aleksey was found guilty of 3 counts of murder, assault and battery, torture and kidnapping and was sentenced to prison for life. Unbeknownst to Aleksey, his wife Juliet, woke up from her coma and she is recovering nicely but was left shocked after hearing everything that her husband has been doing while she was in the coma and will have to learn to deal with the situation.

Specialty: Trained in mixed martial arts, also knows how to use various types of knives including kukri's and throwing knives.

Crime: Hit and Run + First Degree Murder
History: Wilson Wredrun was a limo driver for a respected California senator, Jennifer Lynne, who had helped the Colosseum become a legal enterprise when the legislation came around. Wilson never really cared for politics - he only drove so he could afford his gym membership. He was a very healthy man, with a hearty appetite, and spent almost all of his free time working out. He didn't really know why, but exercise was the perfect mental and physical release for all of his frustration. Watching his progress made him feel productive, and being strong lent him a great deal of confidence. He was a humble, simple, and happy man.

The problem came on WIlson's 39th birthday, on the 21st of June. While driving Mrs. Lynne home from a speech, a traffic accident occurred in the intersection ahead of him. When he swerved to avoid it, he plowed through a fourteen year old boy who had been waiting to cross the street. Terrified and out of his wits, Wilson quickly sped home with the screaming senator in the backseat. In the confusion of the accident, he was not followed, nor was his license plate noted. Arriving at Mrs. Lynne's home, he staggered out of the car in a haze. The senator emerged and began screaming at him, with tear-filled eyes, and calling him a murderer and a coward and a hundred other things in her own hysteria - mostly concerned that the hit and run would be blamed on her, as media politics usually go. Deliriously, she began to claw and beat at his face. Wilson, already under a tremendous deal of mental duress, clocked her in the face so hard that a splinter of her nose bone shot up deeper into her head. She fell, with some bone pierced into the front of her skull, and Wilson fell upon her with his hickory tire knocker (a stick of wood with a steel shaft in the center), beating her face in until it began a bloody smush, with her lower jaw nearly cracked in half and mangy clumps of bloody hair on his hands and arms.

A neighbor called the police, and Wilson was arrested. He was placed into the Colosseum program, in honor of Mrs. Lynne. He was not given a mental evaluation, and it was not found that Wilson was now struggling with post traumatic stress disorder. His first few weeks were numb and distant, but after his first few bouts in the Colosseum, the PTSD began to evolve into a complete mental deadening where his compassion was. He didn't feel any consequence for killing, anymore - he didn't relish in it, but it never bothered him ever again. Now, fighting for his life is his new 'exercise' - the only thing to keep him feeling productive, and sane.

Specialty: Wilson possesses great strength and endurance, and can easily kill anyone with his raw strength, unarmed, if given the upper hand in a close quarters fight. He lacks training or finesse for real combat and techniques.

Not many really agreed, so Aiden collected himself and explained exactly why he thought he should be the new CEO. After hearing him out they decided they would give him a chance. After all he had made it this far in only two years, imagine how much further he could take the company with ambitions like these?

The next year was the time of his life. He was traveling around the world, using his company to play games around the globe. It was his dream, to be entertained at last. What he didn't know is that not everyone believed his predecessor would have committed suicide. His wife was left with his inheritance and also collected a large life insurance policy, she used her wealth to fund an investigation. It took some time but they finally got enough evidence to prosecute Aiden Kaiser for murder. Aiden had made a huge mistake, the surrounding buildings had camera's. It had taken some time to find all of the right angles to determine that it was in fact murder, but they did it. He tried to buy his way out but unfortunately the small fortune he had amassed during his time as CEO wasn't enough to fight the wealth of his predecessor and his wife's insurance money.

In the past three years of his life Aiden had risen to the top of a huge oil corporation, and now was going to be competing in the Colosseum. How Ironic, he always fancied the show. Even attended an event once.

Specialty: Aiden is a user and a deceiver. He's also extremely smart. He uses his speed and agility to maneuver around his opponents, and uses his knowledge of the human body to take his opponent down. (while working at the company he took a course about the human anatomy in his spare time). His weapons of choice are small knives or daggers, and on occasion will use a shield.
