Kuro rolls his eyes but stays silent. Leaning against a stall door he watches the angel exit with vague interest, letting his pain flow for a bit to keep him from ust wandering out after Aoba. 'I know he means well, but truthfully, I've had worse, and I lived through it. I'm more worried about what I feel out there ehading this way. Damnit Dani, why did you have to transform!? I've got soooo many reasons to beat you when my blood stops flowing. . .' With a sigh he truns to watch the calf instead as it hobbles around his mother. His gaze becomes soft as it brays a few times before going in for another snack.

'I wonder what the Little Mouse is going to name it. The first life he's helpped into thei world as a mortal. Well, as mortal as they could make him. He's still technically immortal, but, whatever, I hurt. . .' He whines softly, wipeing more blood out of his eye before sealing the wound. 'I need to eat. . .I can feel the weakness getting to me. . .I haven't eaten in weeks. . . .' His focus shifts to the angel as he returns, herding all the pigs into a couple stalls where the grunt and dig through the hay. Rolling his eyes as Aoba begins talking to the pigs like Dani does in a way. 'Oh, right, we'll need him. . .'

Hobbling his way tot the barn door he takes a breath and steadys himself before stepping out, his pace now smooth and steady. 'Gotta do my best not to look weak right now' Right outside the door he spots Dani bounding over from the direction of the house, and excited look on his face. Catching him as he tries to pass he ignores the whinning, holding him still until he finally looks up at his little brother.

“But, but, I can feel, them, I can smell them! I wanna kill something!” Before Dani can ramble too much however Kuro swats his nose making him fall silent with a snarl.

“Yes, you can go kill them soon, but for now, we need your help getting the animals inside. They are coming from the direction of the pasture and if we don't get the animals in, we may lose some.” He speaks calmly, carefully, and tugs gently on one of Dani's wings bringing his focus around. The smaller demon whines and pouts then nods rapidly, getting the idea that he'll be able to kill things faster if he helps out. Calling out he motions for Aoba to take his place before moving over to the gate. Dani is herding the animals in record time and in no time Kuro has the gate open and the beasts are racing past. “Lottle Mouse, keep your wings out! They're in a bit of a hurry!” He smiles, knowing that by now the angel knows what he's doing, but he can't help but mother the angel.
~Seishu chuckles at Enasi's lazy admission and holds him a little bit tighter, glad that at least he's not simply blushing himself into oblivion at the thought. He hums along to the music, grinning at the kiss, and simply enjoying their time together before the inevitable pull into the waking world. His hair comes up to brush across Enasi's shoulder and he runs his fingers through the smaller male's burgundy locks. All too soon he feels his love being pulled away from him. He sits up, following Enasi in the kiss until he fades away completely. With a pout he watches Their World vanish and tries his best to tell himself to wake up. Only after a few moment he can feel the pull and he smiles on the inside.~

~*~*~*~*~

The Nightmare Guardian lets himself stay still as he wakes up, the panic and sadness coming off of Rue and the pain off of his counterpart actually rather relaxing. [b]'Wow, this is an interestingly nice way to wake up, but I'd rather not ever have to wake up to this particular soothing energy again. . .'[/i] Once Enasi says his bit, holding on to Rue whole he cries Seishu holds back a laugh at the whole “Cell” idea. After a few seconds of sobbing Seishu finally lets out a sigh and says, “Rue, if he tries to put you in a cell, I will personally examine his head since he would clearly be mentally impaired to try such a thing for nothing more than an accident. . . .I would say mistake, but I actually have some thoughts on this.” Lifting his head a little so he can see the crying male, his arm retracting from around Enasi so he's not pouring his energy straight in through the smaller male's wound. Rue peeks up with teary, questioning eyes. “Rue, how did you get here?”

Sniffing and hiccuping a few times he manages to whisper, “I flew too fast. . .”

Seishu simply nods, smiling warmly. The smile seems to confuse the fairy however he seems to calm down a bit because of it. Kaila lets Tyar greet their guardian first, moving out a ways to look at the cave entrance. Tyar turns into it's shadow self and crawls along the wall of the cave so he doesn't have to go too close to the other guardian to reach his own. He lets out a purr as Seishu sits up turning to run his fingers through his shadowy body just how he likes it. The purr turns into a confused noise. “Master Seishu? You feel. . .You feel, a little different. . .”

Seishu's brow furrows. “Is it bad?” he asks, trying to feel out his own energy.

Tyar shakes it's head, though no one could really tell. “No, it's just. . .different. . . .”

“Hmmm. . . .” Seishu looks at his mark, watching it flicker. 'I don't think it's Gin's doing. . . .Something probably happened to us since we had sex in Our World, but he says it's not bad. . .Well, we'll deal with that later. We need to think of travel now. . .'
*Giggles* Lai is so mad right now that all he wants to do is stick around to tick the demon off :P He also misses his cousins so he wants to hog the kids and keep them away from the evil evil demon :P
Oh, I love commissioned work. Shows some real devotion to the RP :P And bleh, RL peoples :P I'm a bit weird and aren't actually attracted to RL people on the whole. It's a psychological thing. *Huggles my boy friend* I do like a few though *Grin*

Sorry if I sound all pushy and judgmental. I've had a lot of bad experiences with partners and now I tend to screen a bit more than I use to :P However, I can see us working together just fine. . . .*Grin* I feel like getting creative. . . . *Pulls out NatGeo books full of animals* *Let's see. . . . .

Name: Shuraal (Shu) of the Moon Raven Clan

Race: Beastman (Serval breed)

Age: 24

Height: 6' 4”

Weight: 175lbs

Hair: Honey blond with two black streak running parallel from either side of the forehead all the way down to the tips of the hair. Hair is about waist length, strait and a little shaggy, tapering to a point in the back, and shaggy bangs that hide the eyes unless pushed back.

Eyes: Cloudy blue with cat slits.

Skin: Pale golden, just before tan.

Build: Long limbed, kinda lanky looking, but with faint muscle tone here and there and almost no body fat.

Extra: Short tail, just long enough to brush calves. Legs are like a felines where he walks on the ball of his foot, his foot several inches longer than a humans making his heel look almost like a backwards facing knee. Instead of human ears he has large serval ones that are settled high on his head and are movable like a cat's. His nails are pointed slightly, and tougher than a human's. His eye teeth are also a little longer giving him a fanged look.

Clothes: When discovered he is wearing a simple heel length blood stained red loincloth. A pale blue slightly bloody cloth belt/sash tied around the waist with a lapis lazuli stone in a simple silver setting directly below the navel. The sash knot is over the right hip. The stone has his house crest carved into it, a raven perched on the bottom part of a crescent moon. Loin cloth draped in both front and back, and sash is slightly open on the left his giving it a slanted look. (Like this but without the jangles.)

Accessories: Clipped to outside of left ear is a small silver ear cuff with a small blue stone danging from it.

Powers/Skills(If Applicable): Better hearing and sense of smell than a human, can jump higher than a human and almost appear to run up vertical surfaces like a feline. Has limited night vision that is better than a humans and is skilled with small blades. He is a trained fighter and can work in groups with little practice.

General Personality: Shuraal actually doesn't like fighting and almost seems to detach himself completely when he's in battle. Unlike his fellows he does not see the battles as a noble conquest, and surviving each clash is the only thing he is grateful for after each one. E's a bit of a loner despite his clan's natural drive to stick together in groups and as such he feels a little out of place among his own kind. He has a fondness for children, of any race, and can easily be distracted by them. He is soft spoken, and though he is a skilled fighter he only attacks when ordered, preferring to try and run or talk his way out of confrontation. Once in battle he is like a wild animal, stalking through the battlefield like a ghost and leaping on to his prey without warning. Once the battle is over he feels the loss of life and feels the need to be alone.

Background: As a cub Shuraal was the smallest of his siblings, three in total, and as such he got a lot less attention from his parents and other clan members. He spent a lot of time getting kicked around and brushed aside and as such he learned to take care of himself and play alone. As with the runt of any litter he was expected to die, though he managed to get his portions of food despite his siblings' best efforts. When he reached his tenth year, spending most of that time just trying to survive, he and the others of his age were taken out to meet humans for the first time. The nearest village was use to the tradition and ignored the beast children unless they began causing trouble. Shu found the odd creatures very interesting and decided to learn more about them.

He came back later in the night and watched through windows as parents cared for their little ones. Even in the houses with large families all the children seemed important to the ones caring for them and Shuraal could feel his envy building. After the first late night visit he would go back often, just to watch the children being cared for, and wondering why his parents are so different. Like all of his kind around the age of fifteen he began learning to use weapons, though the actual trainers paid little attention to the small one. He learned the simplest weapon, and trained on his own mostly, only showing up for training when he had to, and after only a couple years he'd mastered his weapons to their satisfaction.

He still returned often to the human village, however one such visit changed his life. He smelled the smoke long before he ever saw the orange glow of the fire in the sky. The village was under attack, the cries of the villagers echoing through the woods. He arrived to find half the village slain, and almost every building on fire. The attackers were a mix of many different races, a bandit group known for their brutality. Without thinking he did what he could to save the remaining humans, drawing the attackers away while the villagers fled into the forest. He was disgusted by the slaughter, and terrified of all the death around him. It was then that his other side came into being, that competitive animal instinct that his siblings had had since birth. He only took out a handful of the bandits, but it was enough to send them into a panicked confusion allowing Shu to slip away and herd the humans to safety.

His clan did not take kindly to the human invasion, but begrudgingly accepted them for a time after hearing about the village. After they were sure the bandits had left for good they made Shuraal lead the humans back out and he did so gladly. He stayed with them for over a year to help them rebuild and when the local militia came by a year later to offer assistance, only then getting word of the attack, Shu decided then to join the fight. He stayed with the small militia for only a few months before moving on to a new group, learning a little here and there, but mostly finding targets for his own plans. A few of the soldiers he worked with came to recognize how he went about his personal battle and approved, in general, of his tactics.

He became kind of well known for sneaking through the battlefield and attacking the leaders of the opposing side, as if all the other combatants were simply cover for his final pounce. Any time it became clear that the enemy was starting to recognize him he would leave his troop and head to another one as far away as he could. He picked which armies he would join carefully, only joining ones that did not kill indiscriminately, and ones that were on the defense, not the offense for the most part. He became driven by the need to protect, and would leave a troop as soon as their values no longer coincided with his own. Due to this, and his propensity for killing important people, there are a lot of people who would love to see him dead.

During the final battle with his last troop he did not realize that they were off to attack a village until it was too late. He took down a few guards before realizing that the village was mostly defenseless and stopped attacking. A few villagers managed to land a few strikes on him before they watched him turn on his own men and begin attacking. He managed to get a group of villagers, mostly children, into an underground cellar which protected them from the blaze overhead. His fellow attacked him, but he managed to survive, hiding inside a circle of flames. He fought hard and saved as many as he could, and eventually the attacking force retreated. Shuraal managed to make his way to the cellar before passing out from the smoke inhalation and blood loss, the survivors nursing him the best they could.
*Fixes double post*
*Giggles* This next post will likely be rather short :P
Hah. I see the King has about as much interest in Kir-Kon as anyone else in his life :P As in, none :P
Heheheh, "I think your rage broke Lai."
Feeling as if he'd just closed his eyes the angel jerks away at the sound of the knocking. It takes him half a moment to realize that he's not where he should be and with a sigh he rolls to his feet from the floor. 'I didn't even notice falling off the bed this time. . .I gotta stop doing that, the floor is not good for the joints. . .' Dusting himself off Lai wanders over to the door, actually quite relaxed despite his silent complaints. Opening it on to those wide innocent eyes helps to keep his mood uplifted despite the clear demonic aura around the letter in the child's hand Taking it with a light smile he avoids grimacing until the child races off.

Sticking out his tongue as if he's tasted something foul the angel reads it in the doorway rather than in his room, since he still plans on spending the night and doesn't want the taint to be hanging around all evening. Pulling out the letter he pops his neck before reading. 'What does that demon want that he can't say to my face, hmmm?' As he reads he has the good sense to turn at least towards his room so that when he 'accidentally' torches the letter no one sees him. The sheer nerve of the demon trying to tell him what he can and can't do removes all the relaxation he had only moments before and now it takes all the self control he can muster to not race off and take the demon's head the very instant the letter burns completely into ash.

The small sound of metal on stone draws Lai's energy charged eyes down to the floor where he spots the bullet with his name on it. The sudden show of whimsy and stile coming from the demon seems to extinguish the anger radiating off the angel like a high wind and he cracks a smile. Reaching down he carefully picks it up, looking it over like a fine piece of art before slipping it into an inner pocket. 'Well, this is different. . .He is either taunting me, or something I can not even fathom is going on here. . .' With a devilish grin equal to a demons in self satisfaction he heads out of his room, following the mass of bodies towards the smell of food. He does not really need to eat right now, and human food is hardly substantial to this holy being, however he decides to eat a little to be polite, letting those who need it more to eat without worrying that he's not doing so.

Coming to a halt in the archway leading into the place where everyone is gathered for the evening meal Laisander instinctively bows his head at the sound of the prayer. He recognizes the demon's voice however that does not lessen his respect for the praise for the lord. 'Even though your father resides in hell, in this house, all the praise goes to Him' As soon as the prayer is done Lai continues on his way, picking an empty stretch of a bench beside one of the many tables. However before he can take his seat the demon is right there, in front of him. His goggles now hanging around his neck the angel looks up at the demon with his clear calm gaze.

His anger from before seems a distant memory as he smiles at the false father, taking the bowl with his right hand. Before the demon can retract his own hand though Lai reaches out and grabs it by the fingers, like a gentleman preparing to kiss a lady's hand. His eyes narrow only a fraction as he brings the demon's hand in close, pressing it to his forehead in an old sign of respect for the clergy. Most watching to not recognize the gesture, but a few do and go back to eating without a word. “Yes I did, thank you, father.” he murmurs softly before releasing the man's fingers and continuing on his way to the bench.

After being seated he smirks to himself. 'That old blessing is to ward of demons. He had his message delivered to me through an innocent, the coward. At least I delivered mine in person' Sighing gently he says his own private prayer before taking a few bites. However his meal I interrupted only moments later when the boy from before appears carrying his own bowl of soup. His eyes are as wide and curious as ever and with a chuckle Lai decides to tease the demon a bit. The youth lets out a happy squeal as Laisander pulls the youth up on to one leg so he can set his bowl down and eat with the angel. The boy gets comfortable and looks up at the angel expectantly.

Laisander glances towards the false priest and with a gentle sigh lets the glow from his wings show just enough for only the demon to see before wrapping one around the young man so that the feathers are brushing his back ever so slightly. The gesture is a protective one, and the boy doesn't even notice it, however it would be clear to any angel or demon that he's being non hostile with the action. Taking another bite he looks down at the young man with a smile. The youth looks up into the angels face, taken by how pretty Lai is, as most humans are. In fact, several sets of eyes around the room glance over every so often. Some are a little leery about his looks, but most are just curious.

Lai finally breaks the silence between them. “So, what's your name, and what's got you so obsessed with how strong I am?”

The boy giggles, ducking his head down a little playfully. “My name is Javier, and I just wanna be strong like you and Father Xephos so I can help more.” He beams at the angel. “I like helping out!” He hangs his head a little. “But I'm so small, I can only do little things. . .”

Lai bounces him a few times, recalling how his smaller cousins like it. It works and the slightly down youth giggles. “Well, everyone starts with the small things. You keep working at it and you'll be strong one day. Just work hard, eat healthy, and don't forget to play every once in a while. Play is good for you.” The angel speaks with a serious tone, but with a sparkle in his eyes that makes the boy grin.

He takes a bite, looking back at the angel curiously. “Play is really important?”

“Yes!” Lai says with a laugh. The closeness of the innocence helps to keep the angel calm, keeping his temper from flaring at the idea of the demon being so close. He would never willingly let a child be hurt. “Play is very important. It helps you learn things that training can not, or even school work. . .Not that they aren't important too.” Eyes wide the boy eats and listens as Lai goes on to talk about how to grow up healthy, and many little modified tales of his own youth to make it sound like he grew up on earth. As he talks the adults around him slowly move off to bed for the evening while the children not so subtly make their way over to listen to the stories.

They try to pretend that they are not listening, but by the end Lai I sitting facing away from the table, talking about the time he followed a bird to the top of a tall tree only to have it fly off and have him stuck there for hours until his mother came to get him. Several of the children look a little sad at the mention of his mother, one even starts crying. With a sad look he slips Javier off his lap and scoops up the little pigtailed girl. He crying grows dimmer as he rocks her, shushing her gently, letting his holy aura flow through her. When at last she calm he smiles at her and tugs gently on one of his pigtails. She pouts and wraps her arms around his neck. The rest of the children seem happier now too and begin whining for another story.
Warming at the sight of his smile returned Viltez chuckles a little more, his own smile becoming a grin. It takes him a few seconds to realize that the man sitting between his knees is flushed, though once he does a flush comes to his own cheeks. 'He's probably embarrassed about falling and needing to be caught. He seems like a very proud man, and tumbling during a simple game must be embarrassing' Instead of pulling away though the half-breed stills and simply listens, letting his tail coil and squeeze the other's arm.

Feeling the other man's pulse beneath his fingers Viltez carefully removes his hands from his shoulders, settling them on the ground off to the sides to support their position. While he knows it should feel quite odd to have someone pressed so close, his panic stays far far away and his smile widens at his guest's words. “I guess we have that in common then. . .I may live in a village, but, I am mostly alone. . .I could never spend too much time around anyone without freaking out. . .” Stretching his shoulders Viltez looks to the sky, what little he can see of it. The place where the two of them have come to rest is clearer than most places in the forest, only a few paces away from a patch of flowers that can only grow in sunlight.

For a moment he is lost in thought. Not anything specific, just a sense of well being he's never experienced before and he mind and heart try desperately to figure out what it means, and how to keep it around. Speaking softly he says without thinking, “I wish this world were a place where children like me were able to life freely and openly. Where such stigmas did not drive us to hide ourselves. . .I wish my life on no other child, and I pray that the world will one day change.” Realizing that he's talking about his life as if it is the worse thing in to world the half-breed coughs lightly, coming to his senses. In a slightly more timid voice he adds, “Not that I hate the villagers or anything, but I have no doubts how they would react if they knew. . .Like you do. . . .”

His flush finally gets the better of him and with another cough he coaxes his tail to let go as he stands up slowly. Offering a hand to the other male he smiles warmly and tilts his head. “You have given me a great gift. I thank you for that. . . .” in the distance the wind blows, becoming only a faint rustling by the time it reaches the clearing. Fresh scents are carried on the wind and one in particular makes Viltez freeze. Like a deflating balloon the man seems to curl in on himself, his tail coiling automatically out of sight, his sharp eyes locked in the direction of the village. Taking a deeper breath he whispers, “Travelers, moving towards town through the woods. Passed not three hundred yards from here. . . .Gods I hope they didn't see me. . .” His breathing speeds up and a full blown panic seems to be building, his mind going over all the old attacks on himself when he feels that he has been foolish.
