Current My roleplay is all tabletop these days, and the part of the guild I used to hang out in doesn't exist anymore. To my friends from this site, I will think of you, and maybe I'll see you again someday.

To my friends from chat: I guess I'll see you around, since I'm still not using discord.

I don't actively RP on the site these days, but I might be convinced to come back if there's a cool fantasy or sci-fi group RP that can capture my interest. Catch me on Second Life, Wildstar, or Chat.

My life has gotten really chaotic. I'll be back to RPing when I can.

I need a good generic fantasy RP, but I can't find one.

So due to some stuff shifting around on my end, I'm not going to be available to post during the day anymore- no more wicked fast reply times, just morning and evening.
I just felt that Cruelty fit Sujurak really, really well.
Sujurak has Knowledge Religion and Intimidate. He's a scary son of a bitch.

Also, if someone ends up having to drop out, I found a friend who wouldn't mind joining- we have a backup, basically.
Oh I wasn't complaining, just remarking that holy crap, those scores are awesome. If I was complaining, I would have said what I disagreed with. I know that they're legit and all, I didn't mean the remark in that way.

Raised by a cannibalistic hag, her taste for blood is great to a point where she enjoys the struggle of her next meal. Though she is not sadistic it's all she ever knew.

Enjoying the struggling of her next meal is by definition sadistic.

oh crap, woos, ya wrong link, give me a sec lol. I was linking that image to someone in a chat while discussing another RP.Edit: Fixed, and as long as he can put his ego aside then we should be good.

Holy ability scores batman!
That's just a link to a random image.

He's fine working with them, he just thinks that he's better than they are and if they tell him to do something he thinks is stupid then he won't do it. He's not someone on whom "just trust me" is going to work as an explanation.
Sujurak isn't as much of a hedonist as that. He's cruel, even to the point of actually having a flaw for that, and has a mean sense of humour. He's got a bit of a superiority complex, and usually looks down on most others. That doesn't mean that he'll work against them or anything, he'll just feel that he's better than them.

Lucky for him, the little spirits that work with him seem to have a similar sort of personality. He regards them more as companions as opposed to a god to be worshipped, and so it's easy for others to think that he's not very pious at all when in fact he is, it's just expressed quite differently.
Hard to plan with someone when they aren't there :P Also, since Sujurak has 1d4 damage claws and +2 str mod, his coup de grace is also 22 while unarmed. That said, the monk is probably going to have an easier time outfighting a guard, so it WOULD make more sense having Solace do the coup de grace as it would result in better odds if they pass their saving throw. Either way, if either Solace or Sujurak got a coup de grace off, even if the guard made their saving throw they still would have gotten chunked for 12 damage in the opening round.

And yeah, I could see the Clerics getting along well potentially, as long as yours doesn't try to convert Sujurak too much :P He's pretty friendly with the little spirits, after all.

I'm totally fine with the breakout taking a while to accomplish. That'll just make it more awesome when it happens :D
There aren't many level one buffs with long duration- Magic Weapon, Ironbeard, Bless and Shield of Faith are the only ones that would be of much use to us. There are some others, but not really things that would help in this sort of a combat situation.

Really if that was the plan we chose to move forward with, I'd say to use Magic Weapon on a shank and use it for the coup de grace. That way the DC to not die will be 20, and even if he doesn't auto die, you already did ten damage with the opening hit.

Also, I only just noticed- how can you cast command six times? I mean to have five bonus level one spell slots at level one, you'd need a wisdom score of like 44. I'm not saying you can't do it, I'm just wondering how you wound up with that number. I mean I have two spells and then my domain slot.

I'm not gonna post again tonight, I'm going to bed. Look forward to continuing on about this later though, I love talking plans for D&D :D
Actually, another idea that seems solid- first, you grab a shank, since it'll do d4 damage and you can hide it from the guard. Get the guard to come into your cell- they don't need to think you're sick or anything, you just need them in there- then I'll cast Heartache from BoVD on them. Heartache makes them helpless for one round, which would let you do a coup de grace attack with the shiv. Assuming you have strength ten and don't bother casting magic weapon, that means that they'll have to make a DC 18 save or they die. I'd lure him into my cell to do it since I have more strength and the save DC against death would be higher, but I can't cast Heartache and spend a full-round action doing a coup-de-grace all at once.

This has the upside that if he DOES pass his save, his attention will be on the crazy lizardman chanting and trying to inflict a spell on him, and in that situation you likely WOULD have the flat-footed advantage to work with. Correct me if I'm missing anything, but I think that works best in all regards- if it succeeds then he's dead with no issues, if it fails then you're in a perfect setup to catch him off guard since someone else has his attention.
