I've been roleplaying since I was 11 years old. Back then I wrote stories in notebooks with a friend, we passed them back and forth in and out of school whenever possible. My first online RP experience was when I was 13. To this day, I still chat with the guy who introduced me to the site, he's my best friend.
Both my interests and preferences widely vary, from original ideas and characters to fandoms and canon, in all sorts of genres. Please message me if you're curious and I'm happy to answer. I prefer to stick to PM and/or Discord (preferred) for roleplays, for several reasons that I'm glad to share!
I am interested, and have a district 2 female I used ages ago in another story but never really got the chance to play her out.
I replied to your PM - go ahead and modify her character sheet to match ours if you'd like, and @LoneSilverWolf and I will take a look at it! A couple of the players we have enlisted are using old characters as well, actually. :)
It's been seven years now since they began. The death games. Children being torn away from their families and thrust into a nightmare. A nightmare consisting of everything a child should be kept away from, be kept safe from. The heinousness of starvation, murder, brutality, greed, desperation, and those who watched. It was a way to keep the peace, this exposition, this...display. The families of those taken dared not rebel against the "natural order" due to fear. Fear that those they might leave behind would die an even more cruel fate because of their actions. Fear they might suffer. Fear of death. Or, perhaps it was fascination and curiosity. Curious to know what will become of the people that once lived there, curious to know who might be alive after it's all over. Those who were fascinated were the ones who had everything, the ones who weren't thrust into a nightmare year after year.
Yet, the cycle goes on and on...welcome to the Hunger Games. And may the odds be ever in your favor.
First off, @LoneSilverWolf will be co-GM'ing this along with yours truly.
1. Doubling is allowed, but NOT from the same district. You are not required to double.
2. As far as posting, we want people who will post consistently. If you are idle for more than two days, please let us know. We don't care WHY, but we need to know to continue the story without you. If you don't notify us are you are gone for more than five days, we will (regrettably) kick you and eliminate your character. This can be avoided if you contact us, obviously.
3. God-modding is not allowed, however, the GMs will do so in extreme circumstances (i.e: see rule two).
4. The order of deaths (including who will be victor) will be determined by a random generator, and we will create the story around this. We will not be revealing this, however, when it comes time for your character to die, one of us will PM you and give you the opportunity to kill them yourself, with minor coordination regarding the details. Written characters WILL die off after the NPC tributes, unless otherwise requested/dictated by posting rules.
5. You will be allowed to PM with the other tributes for alliance purposes, but keep it realistic. You obviously cannot communicate if you're on opposite sides of the arena.
6. You are welcome to write anything (including violence, gore, and swearing), but, per Guild rules, all smut will be required to be taken to PMs. Anything beyond huddling for warmth, kissing, cuddling, vanilla romance, needs to go.
7. NPC tributes can be controlled collectively, however you do need to pay attention to where they are so there is no confusion. That even extends to killing them for drama purposes, but check with one of us if you would like to kill them, especially during the bloodbath. We don't want too many characters dying at once.
Tributes are given one entry per ear, cumulative. So at 18, children have 7 entries on age alone. Tesserae can be taken once per year per family--but each tesserae taken adds one additional entry into the games. Using our 18 year old example, if he took out Tesserae for himself and his mother for one year, he would have 9 entries into the games.

There will be a side plot written by yours truly. Please be sure to pay attention to these, as they will affect how the story plays out.
The arena details will be posted after it is revealed in the storyline, although you do have a hint in the banner.
Hello! Welcome to the Hunger Games! In this RP, we are looking for a group of six people, currently we have four. Myself and @LoneSilverWolf will be co-GM'ing it. He and I have come up with all of this together, so feel free to contact either of us.

This is where you apply, so post your Character sheets on this thread. Do NOT clutter up the OOC. You will be rejected if you do so.
I have never ever talked to you before, but congratulations! I definitely know the feeling of a great boyfriend that you just love that much (even on the grey stormy days)!
I still get to be a cyber whore though, he's a Guild nerd too. (Yes, @LoneSilverWolf, I just called you a nerd.)
@LoneSilverWolf You'd actually be surprised. I suppose so long as you stay within the US, it'll be okay. Being so far away from everyone while overseas destroyed me. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.
True, it would be super damn hard. BUT - the only people I'd really miss are my Mom and Sister anyway - I don't really have any friends. I'm kind of a bitch.
*shrug* I do hope Vivian handles being a future dependa with grace.
I'm sure she will. She shows a lot of promise right now xD
Seriously tho, I think she can handle it. You know, despite some of the downs, you seem to have handled it pretty well yourself you know c:
Er...thanks, you two...I think...
*is drawing a blank*
I'm sure I'll be fine? I am not actually thinking about dependency, mostly just getting down there in the first place. The prospect of actually being there is more exciting than thinking about other things like that right now.
