"What?" he asked, before turning to look at Erin, "Erin wouldn't do something like that, right?" Séamus wanted to comfort Jacen, but he didn't quite know how.

Jacen let out a scoff "Apparently, you'd be surprised my friend." He cast a side eye at grant and then looked to Esme as the muffins were offered.

"I'm down for a muffin." Jacen scored one out of the container and nearly devoured it whole before turning back to Seamus.

Hearing his friend agree to going off and having fun he grinned "We had better be off then-" he was stopped as Seamus, who was just finishing a joint he had been handed, offered it to him. He didn't even reply before he had the joint in hand, taking a long drag from it. "That was what I needed." He handed it back to the redhead and without a word to the others, began walking away. He beckoned Seamus with his hand to follow him.

"Where ya wanna go buddy? There's the arcade? Or we could grab a case of 'Adams with my fake ID and watch a movie marathon or play some video games. Or we could go to a strip club." He walked along, listening to what Seamus would have to reply. When they reached the parking lot he said "You wanna drive separate or ride together?"

He had half forgotten that Erin had ridden with him, but he didn't particularly care. She could find someone else to take her home for all he cared.

I too like the suicide idea. Here is a potential plot for Lexi, Erin, Grant, and Jacen that I had shared with those involved but I'll share with the rest of you. I feel like your idea, especially if it came after this, could really be a unifying storyline that could lead to some more fun stuff as a group. I feel like each character / relationship of characters should get their plot line. Jacen and Lexi are kinda having their moments but I'd love to explore Ely's depression and other stories as well. Anyways, my idea:

Jacen will continue the cold war with Lexi for now, kinda being abrasive with her, and try to ignore Erin. She'll work her way back in with him and tell him it was just a kiss to get the drugs and cigs and that it didn't mean anything, and after some brooding he'll let her back in.

Grant will take her back to his place after that and they'll have sex, and Jacen will show up to apologize for being pissed at Grant and want to hang out. He'll hear the sound of sex through the door and see her car in the parking lot and put 1+1 together.

He calls it off then and is on his way to go get drunk or do something stupid and he runs into Lexi on the way and she confronts him, and that's where the "You want to know how I feel? That's what you want?! I still love you. It's fucked up but I do. Are you happy now?!" from my relations sheet will happen. They'll kiss or something and then end up in some kinda tentative relationship. Then the story can progress on from there and we can find some new stories to tell with the characters. Once he's securely with Lexi, Jacen will start to realize it was for the better that things got bombed with Erin and forgive Grant.

Jacen let loose a little snort "I'm sure you did." he muttered half under his breath. "Hope you made sure they were fully burned. I know how looking at you turned them on. I'd hate for your new boyfriend to feel inadequate." Thought they hadn't spoken much since the breakup, Jacen knew Lexi had remained single. He didn't know why though. She was beautiful, funny, sweet, protective, and forgiving. He missed her, and that pain was coming out as cruelty and sarcasm at the moment.

He looked on as Seamus was walking up. "Took you long enough ass hole. What'd you see your hair the in the window and think it was a stop light again?"

He let a small grin creep onto his face and gave his friend a half hug. Answering the man's question his smile shrunk as he said "Infidelity." He shot his eyes over to Erin and Grant ontop of each other. He knew the two of them wouldn't be able to hear the comment. He figured Lexi probably would. Whether or not she retorted to it or not he didn't know. At her comment about the party he almost forgot about Erin's kissing grant and let a grin slip onto his face "That would be fun.. kinda like the time we hired the gay cuban DJ that tried to hook up Seamus..." he let his thoughts trail off as he remembered the rest of the party. That had been the first time he kissed Lexi in her bedroom and they had talked about getting together. His smile faded and he looked down "I'm for both black light and swim wear.."

He shot his eyes to the left and turned to face Seamus "What're you doing today buddy? Feel like going to do something we'll regret later?" Jacen had his backroom poker game tonight and he might see if his friend was interested in attending. He was feeling up for some weed and at least a case of beer.
