Tagging @Stern Algorithm cause I forgot to do it ij my post

@Zelosse Can I get a recap on what thr students have to do? I feel as clueless as Lyra (who was half-asleep when they told the rules), which is probably great for roleplaying as her, but not for, err, moving things on.

With the way her eyes look, which is always far away, and the way she walks, which is always like she'll stumble into a pit without realising it, it's hard to tell whether Lyra is going somehwhere or just aimlessly ambling around. But be assured, this time she had a goal: finding the water squirters. to... you know what, she hadn't thought this through. To tell them off for their lame trick, she supposed.

"I-I don't think we should go looking for trouble!" ShiZen wa saying. Lyra brushed it off.

"My Dad always told me to leave no puzzle unsolved. I'm not leaving this one until I had it."

But with this fog and the dark and because the forest was unfamiliar, she couldn't manage more than running around on instinct, avoiding trees and sounds of trouble (was that a crashing sound? It's like someone---maybeee two students with the help of some wind magic?---fell off a tree).

"Hmm, it's a bit hard to find our way around, isn't it?" A thought occured to her. "Hey you're water elemental aren't you? Can you, mmm, sense something in the fog? Fog's made of water."

Then her ears perked up. Something was blowing in the wind too: sounds. There were chatters, footsteps, and, very faintly, the sound of running water. "I think I'm hearing something. Water? Hmm, the fountain?"

Was there something they were supposed to do at the fountain? Lyra couldn't really remember.

Still here! Been thrown around random encounters with old friends and housecleaning and ruined sleeping schedule after I got back from my trip. Am chilling out and reading the posts right now.
Gah, well, that take longer than I expected. Am back and able to roleplay again... And uhh... I'm surprised there aren't any new posts. I don't mind slow (I might actually need slow thanks to RL), but now I'm just worried.

Where are you folks? @ZeroCuero @Man Jack Frost @Lady Selune @Framing A Moose @RinOkumara @Infamous Empath

Yet another reminder: This roleplay is pretty relaxed about people coming and going. If you don't feel like continuing at the moment, that's totally okay. Just leave a note and have your characters leave the scene, so those who are actually playing won't have to wait for you.
Oookay those are some long posts.

I'm generally okay with it, @Sundrop, but I'm worried if you might get too busy talking with yourself and not interact as much with other players?

Hey, @Night_ Star, Eid mubarak! :)

@Folks: I might be gone for the next couple of days. Got to travel and visit some relations. Be back soon.

In case I've got fellow muslims here: Eid Mubarak!

Also, apparently there'll be plenty of travelling to visit families the next few days for me, so I might not get good enough internet. Sorry if I end up being a little late.

Let it be known that my mind is currently rubbish at writing, so apologies if my writing is currently awkward and hand-wavy.

I don't actually remember if Lyra knows Jordan is an earth elementalist, buut I'm gonna assume she does so it'll flow better, hehe.

"Oh, is that..." It was rather difficult to look past the fog, but yes, the two people up on the tree seemed to big to be students. Teachers, then, and, well, one of them was flying, so who else could it be but, "Ms. Hargreaves?"

Lyra registered the rest of the scene a moment later. "Oh, oh! Are you two having a moment?" she half-whispered. "And is that Mr... err-" He looked familiar. Must be one of those she saw during the speech? The name, inexplicably, came to her. "Mr. Manilow? Ooh."

You wouldn't be able to tell just by looking at her that Lyra was into scandal, and she wasn't, really. She was, however, excessively curious. Her interest was more of an academic nature, sure, but the questions forming in her mind were worthy of a blackmailer. Are you two really a thing? Is the principal okay with this? Does anyone else know about you two?

"Do you think the other teachers know about this?" she whispered, quiet enough that only ShiZen could hear her. "Do you think... hey wait!"

They were here to find whoever had been shooting water at them, right? Okay, but it can't be either of these teachers! Ms. Hargreaves' a wind elementalist. Mr. Manilow's an earth elementalist. And there's no water gun anywhere! No, it can't be them.

She told ShiZhen this reasoning. "And I'm not letting those water squirters go. Come on, let's look for them." Before she walked off further into the fog, she called out to the pair of teachers up in the tree, like an afterthought, "Sorry for the interruption, Ma'am! Sir!"

The blackmail materials had already wobbled off her mind.

For a second after the "attack", Lyra just stood there, looking at her wet clothes. It took her a while for the ridiculousness of the situation to sink in, but afterwards, Lyra laughed. It was a ridiculous, excessively amused sort of laugh. People from miles away would be able to hear, completely ruining the creepy atmosphere that the fog was making, or perhaps, for certain kinds of people, making it creepier. She couldn't help it.

"Ohheeheehe! What was that? Water gun? Water elementalist? Creepy fog and all and they're splashing water at us? That was so," she laughed again, "it's so silly."

"It's probably just some upperclassmen playing a prank on us, in fact, this whole thing might just be one big joke," ShiZen was saying. "Do you want to just go back to our dorm?

"Oh, probably a prank. Definitely one big joke. But come on, you're not gonna let them win, are you?"

With the fog and the increased dampness it was basically impossible to see very far away. It didn't seem to deter Lyra, however, as she walked on right through it in the direction where she thought the water came from. "Hellooo?"

I think I'm well enough to get back to the RP, yeah~. Doing some catch-up reading now and then I'll see if I can get a post up before tomorrow.
