Moderator Weapon and Description: The ‘Kaze-Kage’ – a Japanese-style long sword with an accompanying sheath. The blade is sharp and keen – Silver, but with a black sheen to it. The sheath is a deep green, so as to ‘give impression of shadow retreating back into wind’.
Moderator’s Appearance: Malika is a fairly tall, quite thin woman with deep brown eyes and fairly long blonde hair (its styling seems to change whenever she feels it so). She has light freckles on her cheek, and despite her height and thin build manages to be fairly toned.
Moderator’s Bio: Malika was born to a fairly average family, and from her teen years she found herself immersed in the world of foreign television. The cold, cool gunslingers of the westerns, the bright, peppy girls who fought for love and justice, the cocky, sword-wielding apprentices learning the ropes – She became immersed in hundreds of different worlds the more she watched. Fairly regular for a teenager – But it didn’t stop at 18. Malika had lots of ‘personas’ she would adopt at different times, based on what she thought seemed ‘coolest’ at that moment. One thing in particular managed to pull her attention from the television screen of choice – The Moderators. Being part of a team, fighting bad guys in awesome coloured armour with cool weapons? It was exactly like the shows she’d watch! This was her chance to finally live that life! She couldn’t have filled in that application quickly. The application made her out as a very promising candidate – She had several sporting and athletic accolades, and she was above-average in terms of grades. However, it didn’t take the people in charge long to see that she just wasn’t cut out for the A-Team. Even at 21 she was surprisingly immature and constantly obsessed with what was ‘cool’ rather than what was practical (it took a very long time to talk her out of getting a sword crossed with a gun because she couldn’t decide which was ‘more coolest’). The reason given was that her they felt her personality would not make her fit for the serious standard the A-Team upheld. What they really thought was that Malika’s personality was insufferable. All of them. Overall though, Malika is a fairly nice and approachable person; though she may leave some people in the dust with her love of tangents and lack of understanding about when the best time to stop talking is, she isn’t anti-social and at least tries to make friends. At least, if she’s wearing the right ‘persona’…
