When the occasion calls for it, he'll swap the suit out for his standard FBI vest and field dress. His suits don't vary much in style or colour, though he does own a vast assortment of ties which he will cycle between through the week, having one for every day.
Charming * Proud * Dedicated * Stubborn * Intelligent * Overbearing
Sexuality: Bisexual
Relationship Status: Single
Personality: Donald is an approachable and open individual, always making strides to get to know and have amicable relationships with those he is around. Donald is usually able to become friendly with anyone he approaches, and takes pride in that, along with most of his other achievements. Sometimes he can be considered too proud, and almost hubristic in regards to his pride, sometimes overstepping into bragging from time to time. It is Donald's intelligence which he is most proud of, as he puts a great deal of thought into everything he does.
When he sets his mind to something, Donald does everything in his power to meet his goal, seeing everything to its fruition. However, it can be difficult for anyone to try and turn Donald away from any goal he has in mind, and he often falls into a problem of tunnel-vision. Often this dedication can hamper him somewhat during his investigations, as he makes an effort to keep track of anyone and everyone of importance to the investigation.

Life Before the Murder: Born as the son of an actress-director couple in Los Angeles, theatre was in Donald's life since he was young. Though he never particularly took to theatre, he learned from a young age to notice the differences between characters, and by the time he was fifteen, Donald had developed an uncanny ability to know when people were lying or play a part. Particularly enjoying this ability, and driven by a younger love of books such as Sherlock Holmes, Donald began to set his mind towards becoming a detective, much to the displeasure of his parents.
Moving to Stanford for university once he graduated, Donald began to study Criminology and Psychology to further his abilities while getting in contact with local law enforcement about the possibility of being able to join as a detective. It was while he was at university however that Donald encountered an FBI recruiter who spoke to some of his classes about potential careers. Won over by the man, Donald went through the application process to join the Bureau in his final year, being accepted and eventually passing at the top of his class during training.
Donald spent the next number of years of his life working cases across the country, though primarily in big cities, tracking down murderers and drug dealers. It was only after one particularly grisly case that he was told he'd be moving to Washington State to investigate another similar murder in the town of Silver Falls.
History with Lucy Taylor: Though he has no direct connection with Lucy Taylor, Donald has just finished with an investigation into an almost identical murder in New York. Donald is fairly sure that even if Lucy has no connection to the previous victim, these murders are connected in one way or another, and so he is devoted to doing his best to make sure he achieves justice for her murder.
