Current Getting new RP ideas is agonizing when you realize you need to shelf them until you're less busy.

Darren Andrews

Location: Coventry Circus Grounds, Main Tent
Interacting With: Everyone in the Circus Tent, Aloise Zamora @Morose

Darren kept his arms up, watching Aloise closely as he nodded with an awkward, 'I don't know what to say' kind of chuckle as he cleared his throat. "Well, erm, yes, I died, I mean, not yet - technically." His stammering ceased as he realized that no matter what he said, Aloise would not be satisfied until he proved himself something other than a shifter, it was the kind of person she was. "I'll show you." He said quickly, reaching into his jacket as he grabbed his flashlight, bringing it up to flash over his eyes, keeping them open as he watched her.

"No flare, see? If you're still not convinced you can go get some silver and cut me with it." He appreciated when Seraphina moved up to start explaining the situation - he wasn't exactly sure how Aloise would take to it - the whole idea of time travel had been absolutely absurd to him. Little did Darren know, Aloise had more experience with the concept at this point - so perhaps she would accept the idea. That, or she'd just shoot him dead where he stood.

James stared at Aloise for a few moments, glancing towards Darren, before he looked back to Aloise, a sort of stunned look on his face. "The Devil killed him?" as absurd as the day had been so far, James had been regularly insisting to himself that it would not get any stranger, that things had gotten as bizarre as they were going to get. Of course, that was not the case - first, werewolves, then strange barriers which halted entry, now the devil? And Time travel? This was not the sort of thing that James signed up for.

Looking past Aloise and Darren into the circus tent, James wasn't quite sure what he was seeing as he looked around. Nothing around him at that point made sense, and he was still having some difficulty convincing himself that it would only get stranger. Shaking his head, he took in a deep breath, needing to pause an take it all in, before he could do any more.
I'll be getting a post up tomorrow morning. ^^
@Zoey White

Go ahead and toss the sheet here for me to take a look at, you're welcome to take on multiple characters at once, just no more than three at a time. ^^

Ah yes, another peaceful day in Silver Falls - things may seem grim, whether you're one of the many grieving a lost life, celebrating, or just one of the mob - things are all going smoothly... for now. Heed this warning, and heed it well - things will not remain so calm for long, indeed, Silver Falls and its inhabitants are about to be thrust into a nightmare, and this is one you can't wake up from, dear citizens. Prepare yourselves children, and heed well all the clues which you find here, they may be your only chances for survival in the battle to come.

For most, the drive to the community center is calm, the streets are busier towards the center of town, but everyone's on their way to the same place. However, not all have such a smooth ride. As Richard coasts down the quieter streets of town, a red mustang speeds past, cutting him off rather suddenly as it continues along. In Richard's rear-view mirror a car rapidly slams on the brakes to avoid running into Richard's rear-end suddenly, and honks the horn loudly, the driver in the car looks angry, uncharacteristically so of any of the town's residents.

The community center itself is surpsingly quiet, The car park is relatively full, but the interior only contains a little over half of the towns populace. On the stage there sits a small table with a chair and microphone, the quiet sound of muttering between family and friends in the crowd soon enough shushed by the sound of footsteps walking onto the stage. A lithe man, dressed in a suit with a badge on his belt, moves towards the table, taking a seat as he leans forward, clearing his throat. "Good afternoon - my name is Agent Donald Baker, I'm heading the investigation into Lucy Taylor's death." The man pauses, glancing off-stage for a moment before he clears his throat and looks back to the crowd.

"First off, the sheriff has decided that a curfew will be enacted from today onwards, no individuals under the age of eighteen are to be outside between the times of six in the evening and nine in the morning. The forest park is also going to be indefinitely closed to the public, for the duration of this investigation. Though the sound of the agent's voice fills the theatre, those sitting towards the back can't help but notice the muffled sounds of shouting and angered voices from the lobby outside. "I'll be happy to answer any questions - if there are any."

The update's going to be coming in the next few hours, considering there were some delays with people finishing characters I'm gonna be giving everyone a two-day extension on the usual timer once the update is posted.
Harry Walsh

Location: Gheit el Idda

Looking around the room, Harry turned back towards Aziza as she spoke up, giving her a nod. "I won't be long, I don't need too much." Fishing around near his bed for a moment or two, he brought out his duffel bag, setting it on the bed as he opened it up. Collecting a few changes of clothes, he tucked them away into the bag and moved about, sorting through the different pieces of paper and scripts which covered the room. Many of them were similar, stories of the war, his musings and recollections of combat and death - his horrors.

He glanced over a few, skipping over a few of the worse ones as he picked and chose, taking his time to stack together particular pieces of paper before bringing them over to the bag and tucking them away. He lingered at his typewriter for a moment, but figured - considering the way the guards had reacted to Haakon's notebook, they would not particularly enjoy the idea of Harry arriving with his typewriter. Sighing, he eventually had his bag fully packed, pausing for a moment as he looked into the corner. Sighing, he reached out and wrapped his hand around the rifle which sat there, disturbing a few spider webs as he pulled it up, adjusting the sling of it.

He watched the rifle for a few long moments, he'd brought it with him to Egypt, and carried it since the war, but it had been some time before Harry ever considered he'd possibly need to use it. Shifting his sling over his shoulder along with the bag as he glanced back towards Aziza, forcing a gentle smile. "On we go."

William Drake

Location: The Egyptian Museum

Grinning as the man took his money, William watched as he insisted he would return within a half hour, watching as the man began to move off. He glanced back down the hall towards Vera, he figured it would still be best for him not to return, and indeed, being there when the flowers arrived was still probably not a fantastic idea. Sighing, he shrugged his shoulders, lingering for a moment as he considered what next to do.

Sighing, William settled back upon the task at hand, their expedition. Though he had a particularly unusual way of going about such expeditions, William still knew quite well that preparation was key to such things. Sighing, William began to make his way down toward the museum's archives. Usually, Vera spent much more time down here than he had, but he had come here on occasion to solve specific puzzles or uncover clues - he was unsure how much he would come to understand, but he set to task on uncovering what he could about the symbols which had appeared on some of their party - and deeper into what they might have meant.
I got totally screwed by work and have only just got home (It's 2AM), so I'm going to pass out but a post will be up first thing in the morning, apologies for the delay but I'm exhausted.
I'll be posting when i'm home from work. ^^

Watching as the others began to work the lights, Darren's attention was dragged away as he saw Andromeda's body... Disappear. It wasn't really like anything he had seen before, it all just disappeared completely, in the blink of an eye. Looking around, Darren's eyes drifted between everyone there, particularly the wounded, dead and terrified. It dawned on him that Darren still really had no idea what was going on, or even where he was - and he hated it, all he could do was ride it out as well as he could, so he could get back 'home'.

As he saw Fairfax begin to work the spotlights, Darren gave a nod, moving back towards the barrier he'd been standing at before, watching as it slowly began to fade before it all disappeared into a mist. He groaned for a moment as the mist hit him, it was strange how it stung, but his attention was rather quickly drawn to Aloise in front of him as he saw the pistol aimed at his face. Holding his hands up, his eyes went wide for a moment, and he locked them with her. "Woah! Woah, woah, Aly - no need for that." He said quickly, using his own nickname for her as he glanced between her and the people she was with, appreciating the insistence of the woman that Aloise not immediately shoot him.

James raised an eyebrow at Aloise's answer to his query. She seemed fairly insistent on the fact that Darren was dead, her voice strained, and he could tell there was some sort of pain to it. He considered the fact that the two had known eachother well, once, perhaps that was why she was so troubled by his reappearance, often losing those close to you meant that it was hard to let them come back into your life. Though, James figured the situation was even more bizarre than it appeared. "I do hate to burst your bubble, but he looks plenty alive to me..."

James took a step back then as he saw the barrier dissipate, reaching down as he pulled his own gun, holding it low for now rather than raising it as Aloise had. Initially, he went to step up and interrupt, but stopped himself. Though he figured he should step in, and though he didn't exactly trust this hunter on her instincts, she seemed to have a much clearer idea on everything that was going on than he did. At least for now, he was content to follow.
