You're half approved. While I get the intent of what your abilities say, I think it's best you send me over PM a breakdown in simple terms of what each ability is, does, and how it does it. That way I have a reference if your character ever gets into any fights with anyone else and there's ever a dispute. I'd rather no debates turn into nasty arguments, as they so often do in RPs like this. You can post in the roleplay at NYC, but you can't get into any fights or use your abilities until your fully approved.

Yes, so far we have the Ayylien invasion group, The New Imperium of Man, and soon the _____ will appear somewhere on Earth as an NPC faction.

I also have my own designs and plans that I am working out with a few people. Things are getting interesting.

I kinda actually agree with Lmpkio, we'd best let people consolidate a bit more before we throw in even more opponents. However, I think when you do introduce them having them scout out the planet first would make logical sense, to see what enemies or (temporary/vassal)allies they can make.

You could have them set up a scouting base/forward command post somewhere in North America or the Caribbeans and have them scout us out.

Nah I'd prefer a pyramid esque kind of power scale for this RP, with the powerful characters built into factions(that you guys form, like the Imperium Nova is making) and few in number. That way things are naturally more balanced that way I think.

Post your initial application here, then once I approve it, go ahead and move it to the character section. How long it takes me depends on the application. Some of them take longer than others for reasons, but if I don't seem to respond to you for awhile throw a mention at me to make sure I didn't get busy and forget.

Nerfing him isn't necessary if all you need is a character to match him. I have plenty of PC characters just eager to shake their rust off.

We could have the chaos gods unite to seal his abilities a bit, sure. I'm fine with the idea of having the Emperor have some of his capabilities limited psyker wise, then he could work against that during the roleplay to gain his abilities back given time and resources. It'd highlight his leadership and warrior abilities a bit more rather than him just using his psychic abilities constantly.

Should make things a bit more interesting for you roleplay wise.

As for the details of it, I think I'll NPC the chaos gods since True is the closest thing to a champion they have in this world, and I don't want to control his character through that. If you or True ever need them, just tell me over PM that you need use them of in relation to the Emperor or the Daemon Prince. Then you can go ahead and post as them until whatever they were needed for is settled.

Well, at the moment, none of the characters are aware of the terminals or where they are. Nor do they have any real motive to move out until food gets scarce, and several characters are able to pull in gear/supplies, or create them on the spot. So I don't think there's going to be much travelling until we're aware of them.

Maybe Midori could tell Nova about the terminals, and then the Emperor and his allies could go explore em?

And the power levels are fairly balanced at the moment, as we have a few very powerful characters that aren't unkillable. I'm satisfied with where it is now and would like to keep it right where it is. However, you're right that we should start traveling to other worlds. Not every world will(or should) nerf powerful characters, necessarily. But they do make the playing ground more equal.

The point of having Arcadia desolate is that you essentially are forced to go to other worlds to gather resources and complete objectives. So you may be a powerful character, but unless you're a leader type who gets other people to do it for them, you will need to go to other worlds to accomplish most of what you want to do. To progress the plot and increase your own power, its imperative to use Terminals to reach other worlds where you may or may not be weaker than before. Arcadia is critical and is a hub world, but you can't sit there all day- it has no people or resources, its infrastructure is falling apart, and there are some really powerful monsters there.

Further, there are organized factions across the multiverse with a very vested interest in Arcadia, and you will need resources from other worlds to stop them from coming in and enslaving you, or taking over the Planet.

Speaking of, when the plot moves on, you'll be seeing the first of those. They won't be landing on Arcadia near us, but they'll notice you guys eventually. And well, when they do, they're going to try and get you rowdy kids off of their brand new lawn.
