I'll have a look but if it's a motive that will encourage cooperation with the party it should work...honestly I'm not sure if my character is really evil or just unethical..hm I'll have a think on it and watch the video.

Also if my character was proficient in medicine and had the alchemist feat he would work as a sort of off-healer? During rests and such most likely, I've heard only wizards can make most potions.

@Ciaran would it be alright if my character came from a town with more significant disease issues? If you'd like to discuss that further we can sort it out over PMs or something, also would you rather characters were neutral or good? I think mine sorta borders evil, assuming you're using alignment at all.

Oh yeah and variant humans cool? They're part of the PHB but they're fairly strong so thought I'd check.

May I join? I'm abit of a DnD noob but I think I've played enough so I have a solid grasp of the game, I just might ask some questions here and there.

Also would you consider the Raven Queen Warlock subclass from UA broken? I have an idea for a character but I could probably modify the class and it would still work with his motivations.

Vuldur took a deep breath as he relished his victory and the adrenaline faded, a victory was a victory, even against one as young as him. "If they talk about a fire wielding beastkin, it's probably me. I wasn't aware I had much of a reputation." This was only partially true, Vuldur was well aware a beastkin from a northern tribe in Zauberheim but he had no idea he had been more than a interesting conversation topic after his arrival. People will talk he reason to himself

Vuldur growled at Ecthel before bowing his head for a moment, perhaps this was taken as a sign of submission but the beastkin was not yet done, slamming both of his hands onto the ground Vuldur unleashed an explosion of fire directly in front of him, assuming this unbalanced Ecthel as he intended it to he leaped at his opponent with the intent of incapacitating them,fury burning in his eyes.

Vlath the Voidcaller

Name: Vlath of the Shadowclaw Tribe
Gender: Male
Age: 150 years old
Race: Lycan
Alignment Neutral Evil
Personality: Vlath is cruel and brutal like many other lycans but also possesses a far greater zeal than most of his kind; befitting of his role as Voidcaller. Despite his cruelty Vlath is fairly diplomatic and cunning, more than happy to make new allies to meet his own ends. He is generally cold and often drifts off during conversations that are not of particular importance to him.

Background: Vlath was chosen to become a Voidweaver at birth,taken from his family to be trained in the various magics and the history of the lycan race, he excels at his studies and after several decades is personally selected by the High Voidcaller (the leader of the lycan race) to serve as one of his potential successors.
As the planet the Lycan Covenant had currently been inhabiting began to grow low on resources, the Voidcallers were prepared for the Ceremony of Succession; each of them would be exiled to a random point in the Great Beyond and would be expected to use their own power and cunning to find their way back, the first to return or the only survivor would be deemed the next High Voidcaller and any surviving Voidcallers could expect their power to be torn from their bodies and given to their successful rival. The event would be closely observed by the vast Lycan legions who would take note of the worlds visited by the Voidcallers and often invade them after the Ceremony is complete. For now however Vlath finds himself tumbling through the a portal to some unknown planet.
Abilities: Vlath wields powerful void magic capable of tearing rifts in reality itself, summoning nightmarish creatures from the void and tearing the minds of his victims asunder. While Vlath's magic is fueled by sacrifice he is still capable of utilizing basic spells through sheer will power and in a pinch can sacrifice his own life energy or blood to cast spells.

Physically Vlath is somewhat imposing, his lycan body making him swift and deadly. However due to decades of exposure to void magic he is somewhat brittle, physically and mentally in some cases. He also has an accute sense of smell and hearing although again exposure to the void has made his vision somewhat blurry and often distorted.

Vuldur

As Vuldur approached his target he summoned flames to each of his hands, but allowed them to remain their, the sensation became gradually more unpleasant but did not burn his hands as the flames whirled around his clawed fingers. Next after making some attempt to weave and duck around the arrows being fired towards him the beastkin leaped forwards and attempted to maul Ecthel with his now flaming claws,specifically trying to hit and break his bow before anywhere else.
