MusokaPhysical changes are cool. Minor changes like those you mentioned are good examples. Hands could become claw-like, appearance of tiny horns, having slightly longer limbs, or just becoming a bit taller or more muscular.

I'm going for more of a subtle awakening that only a certain percentage of the population can see followed by a slow downfall. I've got a vague plot planned out but its probably gonna be similar to a social RP in a way. Making stuff up along the way is gonna be done a lot too.
Eschaton
It was a night like no other. The moonlit sky was suddenly blanketed by a sanguine-like glow, dyeing everything below it in a shroud of red. Aside from the eerie scenery that was created, only a few knew the significance and cause of what had happened. A rebaptism of the world was about to take place.
You will be playing a character who's inner demon has been awakened. How you realized this? It varies from one person to another. A nightmare perhaps? Or maybe through some strange visual or auditory hallucinations or pain-inducing transformation? The choice is up to you. The only thing you will all be experiencing is change. Your life will definitely be different from what it was before. How you handle this, is up to you?

Will we get a general update that's directed towards everyone that slightly dictates the flow of the story?
Although not officially part of this RP as of yet, I think the idea of splitting everyone into groups would be the way to go and like what X said, each group would just have their own adventure and during some points in the story, every could meet up again. Maybe something like participating in a war such as the War of the Best at Marineford or a gathering of pirates similar to the that in Saobody Archipelago.
Yeah, the coding in the forums is pretty bad, but you could make use of googledocs and just post the links. I've seen it done in other RPs. You don't have to do it with all though, just that ones that have massive amounts of text like the character sheets and curriculum.
