Anubis' Mothership, Hyperspace
.............................................En Route to Imperial Shuttle

"My lord," Her'ak said on the main screen. "The remnants of the Shol'va, Khonsu, forces are at your command."
"Good," Anubis responded to his First Prime. "The final leg of our journey commences. Now follow your god to victory!"

Four Ha'Tak-class motherships, three Al'kesh mid-range heavy attack ships, and their associated wings of death gliders leapt into hyperspace after Anubis' partially-reconstructed Mothership.


Imperial Shuttle

Someone was coming. Someone powerful.

Emperor Palpatine asked, "How many ships have their weapons powered?"
"Two ships have energy signatures matching powered weaponry, Your Majesty," Captain Bonma replied.
"Fools."

Palpatine barely registered his alarmingly smaller crew. Whatever had brought them here hadn't seen fit to bring all of his guard. Yet another reason to meet whomever was coming with strength.

He stood, and walked to the communications console. The crew scrambled out of his way in a shockingly respectful manner. They had no idea who or what was contained in the other ships, except perhaps a Jedi from the Clone Era. Another ship looked Mandalorian. If only there was enough time to properly unite the rabble behind him!

Palpatine thumbed the comms, wide band, all frequencies.

"Attention ships. There is a greater threat approaching from the" -Palpatine felt for the ripples in the Force- "Galactic Center. We must stand together or be destroyed. As this shuttle is lightly armed, I... suggest... you protect it."


Stargate Command, Earth
............................................Conference Room
"Anyone else think it's been a bit..." Jack said.
"Quiet?" Daniel offered.
"I was going to say dull."
"Well, Anubis is busy defeating the other System Lords." Carter said.
"Right." Jack responded.
"And Tok'ra intelligence has Ba'al gearing up to fight Anubis." Carter continued.
"So, we're just not in the middle of the action." Jack looked around. "Does that bother anyone else?"

Carter frowned.

"Oh, I don't know. It's, uh, relaxing. Like a vacation." Daniel said.
"A year in the higher plane of existence wasn't enough for you, huh?"

Daniel sighed.

"Many have joined the ranks of the Free Jaffa while their masters fight." Teal'c countered.
"I just feel like we're missing something." Jack said.

@Queen Raidne I know I haven't been around much lately but that's due to trying to find a job and travelling, am I still in this RP?


Yes, of course! We're planning on a fight sequence coming up soon, so probably try to be around for that. And I'll be sure to keep the summary on the zeroth post updated, so that way catching up won't be horrific.

I'm definitely in the minority of people that have an obnoxious amount of free time in their lives at the moment.

Edit: And good luck on the job search! What field are you looking for, if you don't mind me asking?

I know a new editor is in the works. Meanwhile, I'm going to take a crack at these. At the least, I'll try and get you some pull requests to fix the bugs.

I've also noticed that comparable roleplaying sites have [div] tags, which opens up BBCode for insane uses. I don't know how I feel about that, let alone how you feel about that, so I'm not going to touch it.

I'd reply this to your dev blog if it weren't necro'd out.

Yeah, @Lmpkio, that was my intent. I always strive to make interaction happen with my posts. Unless they're exposition dumps. I must have missed your crew count - my bad.
Or a really awesome fight scene between NPC's which I already wrote.

@Assallya I anticipate opening it back up in a week or two. I'll change the join status tag to reflect that.

Oh, good, I can reply to the OOC again.

Interesting. I'm noticing two main camps forming, so far - the EVE ships and the Star Wars ships. Makes sense; the crews would cling to something familiar. Although there's also a few people who haven't posted their intro yet, so who knows what will end up coalescing.

Also, NanoFreakV2 pointed out something amusing: we have no idea which ships use shields and which don't. Hopefully that won't end up being important.

@DocTachyon Wait, how long has your ship been named the same as one of the NPC's?
