Current Some events have happened in my life which has driven me to decide between leaving or staying here. I've decided to leave. I will no longer be on this site to roleplay. I may come back as Rae Zerg .

Well, my Father was in the ER after throwing up blood today. Apparently an ulcer burst and now he can't eat anything more than soup. I'll be home for the next two days off of work though.

The cans I mentioned finding in the intro for Tori and Benjamin are the two cans Tori has listed in her inventory.
Five Points Station/Metropolitan,
Atlanta, Georgia
United States of America

One Day Before

One hundred and fourty miles. That was the distance between Atlanta and Birmingham. A two hour car drive at most but walking said distance took Tori and Benjamin took a week and three days. They couldn't stay on the interstate otherwise they would encounter infected so they stuck to the railways running between the two. The car was abandoned back in Birmingham. It raised the chance of attracting the attention of infected or bandits which meant they had to walk all the way to Atlanta hoping that there was a safe place there. Walking a mile wasn't too difficult but the walking of miles everyday had worn on the pair. Spirits were low and supplies were starting to run thin as little hope held out that anywhere was safe at all.

Five Points Station was the final stop along their journey between the two cities and one which they hope would bear fruit unlike the others along the way. But hopes weren't always fulfilled no matter how hard one tried. It was obvious from a distance that Five Points was not safe enough to stay at with quite a few infected shambling across the tracks and on the platform. The feeling of trying as hard as possible to find safety and failing hit the pair hard under the noon sun. Tori stiffled tears as they walked up to Marietta street. Cars abandoned long ago were scattered in the road. A few corpses littered the ground, some were human others infected.

After thirty minutes of walking, the pair arrived at Metroploitan. The apartment buildings were obviously upper end which meant looters probably had already gone through there which meant it was safe from bandits at the very least. "I..I think we should stay here for the night. Maybe we can find some supplies in there which haven't been taken or completely ruined." Tori said to Benjamin as they stood in the foyer. Benjamin was slow to answer Tori with a dejected "Sounds like a plan." as they walked as silently as possible through the ransacked foyer. Of course there would be nothing supply wise in foyer but there were three spare keys to rooms in the Metropolitan.

Searching through the apartments gave no more than a few cans of food which Tori placed into her backpack. The third room they searched was on the fourth floor and near the stair well. It seemed like somebody had prepared to stay in that room by blocking the door with a dresser which Benjamin promptly moved out of the way. The bed itself was thrown on the floor and the covers were taped over the windows. The TV which had been in the room was stolen long ago but several candles were strewn throughout the room showing signs of having been used, though not recently. The pair decided to shack down in the room for the night. Their hopes were to move on once again in the morning to find survivors in the area and scavenge for supplies while they could.
Dante Calogero
Outside the Church on the Hill, Chernyy Ushchel'ye

Dante stared up at the Church as Saber spoke to him. He stood a fair distance from Church so that nobody would pick up his answers to her questions. Knowledge of one's enemy was very much the makings of an easy kill. You could never be careful enough once the Grail War begins. So long as he was on Church grounds, he was safe enough but that doesn't mean that his secrets were safe.

"Sure, you can call me Dante if you wish. As for my magecraft, I know the basics of quite a few branches but I focus on healing, pyromancy, transmutation, and I've got knowledge of very basic Holy Sacraments. My Family line, well I''m the son of an upstart family known as the Calogeros in Italy but my mother is from the older family known as the Galleranis. As for my strength, I'm above average in my magical capabilities. As compared to Rin Tohsaka, I'm not that strong but I've got thirty-five magical circuits which can produce five hundred units. I should be able to take down the other Masters physically if I can't do it with magic." Dante said all of this to the cloaked Saber. Dante always liked to boast about his rather nice amount of circuits and their output capabilities. He chided himself for having boasted about his powers like a child especially considering the situation he was in at this moment.

Dante looked back at the Church he was standing in front of. Practical as it was, it made Dante cringe. The years had not worn well on the exterior of the building in a place where there were only two settings on temperature, cold and colder. He felt that his conversation was finished with Saber so he walked back to the doors of the Church and stood still for a moment. Dante was uncomfortable to walk in there to meet the Supervisors but it was necessary. He gently pushed up the doors to the Church and walked in to see the two Supervisors up on the nave and both Executioners and Orthodox Knights on seperate sides of the Church. He didn't say anything to the congregation after entering and simply sat down on a pew closest to the door but slightly in the shadows.

Berserker
Abandoned Warehouse, Uptown

Information about him. How could one answer such a question? He remembered little about himself and more about his job. Basics, what he needed to remember was basics. Only one word appeared in the massive expanse that was inside Berserker's mind. Thor. It was quite obviously a name, perhaps his but he wasn't sure. He struggled to form the name on his lips to answer and nearly smashed his hammer into the ground in anger due to his failure.

"Th...Thor. Name, Thor." Berserker said to his small Master. His deep voice rumbled throughout the building like thunder itself. It had been a long time since he heard his own voice. His own astonishment was short lived before he noticed the weight of something heavy in his hands, well heavy for a human. He looked down and saw a hammer, one which he knew well even in his current state. Now for another furious attempt to stutter out its name in anger.

"Mj ..Mjölnir. Hammer" was all Berserker could say as he eventually gave into his anger. He tossed the hammer in the air once before throwing it at a steel crate left in the warehouse. The hammer smashed the crate into near nothing and practically shreaded the crate behind it as well. He quickly recalled Mjölnir to himself and looked back at his Master. She likely disagreed with his anger but Berserker cared little about what people cared for anymore.
@ulsterwarrior, it seems that Aranor shares the same flag as Operian. Then again, I have three flags with the one your using representing the royal flag in Operian.

Thanks. I should be done with the NS soon. I was wondering how you guys made those border adjustments. I'm not sure how to do it.

I used imgur's editing software which allows you to draw on a picture. I'm not sure about everybody else.
Seems rather interesting. I'll get to work on a character.

A Guide to Romance in Roleplays

Yep, you read that right, this right here is going to be a Guide to Romance in Roleplays. Now you may be saying "I don't need this, I already know how to work with Romance." but I'm not sure many people know how to write Romance without it feeling awkward or forced. As a writer, I can understand that it is difficult to write a Romance scene for a character you aren't likely to have any connection to and you feel awkward writing for a bunch of people to look over it. This guide right here is going to explain how to write Romance between characters in a Roleplay.

The Dos and Don'ts of Romance

In Romance there can be as many Dos as Don'ts but this shouldn't put you off. Romance is meant to not be perfect. No couple will be perfect even if it is in anime or writing. The 'Perfect Couple' is often a boring archetype to work with and even then it comes in two forms. The Perfect Couple(True) can be a couple who is literally perfect in every way. They have no problems in life, they live together without any disagreements, and they have no problem caring for each other. But, the Perfect Couple(False) can also be an archetype of a relationship which displays the relationship as perfect. Said relationship can have a partner who is cheating on the other or perhaps is abusing the other physically or mentally. Now, these archetypes may seem familiar due to the fact that they actually are commonly used in movies and books. But, both Perfect Couples are boring since there isn't really going to be a whole lot of character development in either that contributes to the writing all of that often.

When writing Romance, you have to consider the feelings of both Parties. If the character who you want to involve in the romance is unwilling to become involved then don't force it. This doesn't mean that romance isn't possible, feelings do change over time even in roleplays. But, one cannot force romance between two characters without making it awkward or very creepy and trust me, you don't want awkward romance in an already awkward situation. You also don't want to advance the Romance too quickly. You don't want to jump from having just met each other to instantly snogging in the hallway in front of everybody. This isn't high school where snogging right away is normal, though if it is a high school rp I would still suggest moving slowly. Let your characters get to know each other before you take the next step.

Alright, you better be listening for this one cause it is important. Go with the flow. You don't want to just pick and choose who you like best out of the other characters and go with them for romance. Go with what feels natural to you after you make your character. If you feel like the person who would best fit your character is an awkward anti-socialite then go for it. Just make sure that you don't force its time comes to truly begin. Timing is essential in when romance should begin between characters. You don't want to start too early but you also don't want to start too late. This doesn't mean there is a particular point in a roleplay when every romance should begin, quite the opposite actually. The time at which one may begin a romance varies between characters. Let's say that an anti-socialite and a guitarist are paired together. One must first get the anti, as I shall call them, to open up and talk to the guitarist. Does this mean that you immediately start the relationship? No, it would be best to wait a little while more till the two are comfortable together. Then, one makes the move to ask the other out and you begin the relationship for sure.

When the relationship does begin, you may want to start it instantly hand holding but be careful there. Certain relationships would begin this way but if your characters are still somewhat uncomfortable with each being in a relationship then start with something more basic like being together more often or such. If a character is insecure even in a relationship then build trust first. Begin with basics then advance at a pace that seems natural. Don't try and throw curveballs in the relationship unless they actually progress the relationship. Hell, if it regresses the relationship it is still good character progression for then you have a obstacle to overcome, a chance to grow.

Work With the Plot, Not Around

In a roleplay, plot comes first more often than romance does. Romance takes a second position when it comes to the Plot of a roleplay unless said roleplay's plot focuses on romance. Then, there are those roleplays where romance is ill advised. While I must agree that there are certain roleplays where romance would be difficult, there is never going to be a roleplay where romance is impossible. Romance can flourish in the middle of a battle between two characters The key thing is to ask the GM if they would be willing to alllow romance if it is not stated in the rules.

If the GM is willing to work with romance then you are certainly welcome to do so. Don't try to force romance in a roleplay where the GM doesn't agree to it. When working with the Plot you need to be considerate and allow the plot to advance at its set speed while following romance as a subplot. This can be difficult when writing since developing romance should be taken slowly The goal is to make time in your post to fit romance in when it is the right time to do so. That is all there is to it really, there isn't some special way to work with the plot you just use your writings to their best in order to fit in romance.

The Barrier of Awkward

Awkward moments happen all the time in life and they also happen in roleplays. It is awkward to write a romance scene that is anything more than talking. Kissing scenes can be awkward in a roleplay but this shouldn't stop you from writting them. Instead, treat these scenes like they are awkward for the characters as well. It is better to assume that a character is awkward when they kiss in the rp as you were writing them. Imagine your characters are two teens kissing in the hallway for the first time. They might be comfortable around each other but being able to be comfortable kissing each other with and without people around is going to be at least slightly difficult.

Take it this way, say you are going out with the girl or guy of your dreams. You've been dating for say two or three weeks and you feel like you are ready to move on to kissing. It would be awkward, not cause you are uncomfortable but because this is the first kiss in the entire relationship. You would be excited to kiss her/him and thus butterflies would be fitting at this moment or what one could take as sort of awkward nervousness. So, by being awkward you are capable of conveying said awkwardness to the romance at the very beginning until you are comfortable writting any romance for that character.

Final Remarks

I am not a master of writing romance but these are things I have discovered writing romance through out my four years of writing. Everything said here will not fit into every situation of romance you have. Every romance is unique in its functions and progression and no one romance should truly be exactly the same as the other. I'm not saying that all of this will work for every person but it has certainly worked for me over the years. Anyway, thank you for reading all of this if you are still here. If you have any suggestions to help with this be free to say them.
Love has existed since the creation of this small world we live on. Since the very beginning of life there has been love. But, Humans were truly the ones who personified love. Our capability to love a partner for more than just their physical capabilities placed us at the head of the leaderboards when it came to love. No matter what, a man or woman could love their partner for who they are rather than what they look like or their genes. If their love was true enough, a couple would be capable to surpass anything including mental diseases. There are hundreds, possibly thousands, of couples out there who have watched as one of the partners involved in the realtionship fall deeper and deeper into the pit of mental disease.

A man can watch his wife of twenty years suffer from dementia and still stay with her. While some people would leave the moment they realized that their partner wasn't perfect, there are others out there who will stay with them no matter what. I once heard a story of a woman who had come back from war and was suffering from PTSD. One night, it was particularly bad and she was alone in her house. She heard the door open and close downstairs and rushed to get her gun from her night stand. She waited for the intruder to enter and, when he flipped on a light, she shot him right in the chest. The intruder turned out to be her husband coming home from a late night of work. He was in surgery for three hours before he came back out. It was a success but his wife was killing herself from grief.

He told her that she wasn't to blame, that it wasn't her fault, and that he would stay with her no matter what. The husband stayed true to his word and stayed with his Wife. Now, put yourself in the exact same position as the husband. If your wife shot you because of PTSD would you really stay with her? Would you be willing to work with her to ease the guilt from shooting you and help her overcome her PTSD? Half of you might say yes, half might say no. The point is, those half who say yes show that humans truly are the best at love. We might make wars like they're candies but they don't overshadow all the love we are capable of. Those soldiers who fight terrorist organizations looking to destroy our worlds do it not just because they believe the terrorist evil but also because of their loved ones back at home.

The soldiers fight for a better world for their family and friends. I never quite understood why people were always disgusted by war. From my view, war wasn't necessary but the fact that our soldiers were willing to go out of their way to protect us and our world as it is shows the depth of their love for loved ones. Yet, there are those who believe that humans can only love as much as they hate. I call that true for you can hate somebody enough to committ murder but you can love somebody enough to die for them. Most people would call me crazy for having even written this but I don't give a fuck. I'm seventeen, never had a partner, and yet I feel as if this is the truth behind the human capability to love.
Ask a dozen children in a Elementary school in every Country in the world and they will give you a dozen different answers at every school. Ask a dozen adults stuck in a desk job the exact same thing and you may get two or three answers. The definition of a Hero is fluid. It depends on how your early life was, how you understand the world at large, and how you see the world. A starving child would call the man who gave them a weeks worth of food a hero. The homeless person sitting in a cardbord box in the alleyway would call the woman who gave them a hotel room for a week a hero.

Superheroes were designed by Humanity to do what the average person can't. They can change the lives of millions just by living and save thousands with their actions. But, every Superhero has always had a villan no matter what. There is always somebody who tries to thwart their plans. Yet, every human is taught that life quite simply isn't so black and white. Sometimes a hero kills the villan to save the city. Does the act of saving the city truly outweigh the act of taking a life? Is the hero truly better than the villan when he was so willing to kill a person? If a hero can kill once than what is there stop him from doing it again. And again. And again.

When the Oracle came we all thought it to be a miracle. A perfect sphere which looked as if it was made from pure silver just appears in the sky above Earth. It doesn't come crashing down nore does it try and assault us. It just sits in the sky and watches Earth like an Oracle. About a month after its apperance, people all across Earth started developing powers. One person could teleport as far as his eyes could see. Another could harden her body into what was essentially a metal. No one person had the same power as another and no one person could be controlled by those without powers. Criminals started to use their powers to perform their crimes. The Feds tried to control them but ended up pass the Citizens with Powers Act which gave those with powers free reign to use them as they wished. Entire cities became domain to those powerful enough to control them.

In New York City, a Power wielder known as Powder Keg claimed domain around thirty years back. Under his Tyranny, New York City was encased by a reflective field made by a Power wielder known only as Reflect. Nobody could leave nor enter New York City without the permission of Powder Keg. The subways became homes for refugees from destroyed sections of the city and also home to rebels. Those who resisted Powder Keg and his Gang were made into examples for the others. The seemingly invincible Powder Keg has ruled New York City for thirty years but the time has come for his rule to come to an end. Rumors run around of a man capable of killing Powerder Keg known only as Light. Hundreds gather in an underground station to meet Light, few may join him.
Dante Calogero
Saldrisk Apartments, Floor 10, Uptown

Dante stood still as his eyes adjusted to the darkness once more. Inside the circle stood a woman with a sword at her hip. She stated that she was Dante's sword, an obvious way to state that she was Saber. Dante unrolled his sleeves and buttoned his simple, white shirt up before he said anything. "You are the Saber class Servant eh? Well, not really a question as you've already stated your class. Before we start anything I will tell you my name. I am Dante Benito Calogero. Pleasure to meet you Saber." Dante said as he bowed to the Servant.

His family would have called him a disgrace for bowing to the Servant he summoned but it was only fitting a way to welcome a Servant to Earth once more. Dante opened the door to the hallway before he turned back to Saber. He motioned for her to follow him as he walked out of the room. He removed the golden chains from the elevator grate and threw them across the floor. "We need to get going now. Gotta meet with the Supervivors at the Church for our Rules and Regs ya know. We can talk afterwards about your powers in such. I'm not rushing to eliminate everybody else anyway." Dante said as he and Saber stepped into the elevator before going now down to the first floor.

Dante left the building and looked up at the Church on the hill not far away. It wasn't even half as grand as the Churches back in Rome but Dante actually prefered the simplistic building, less of a focus on filigrie and more on function. Saber stood next to Dante as he stood outside. "Keep your distance but don't be too far away. The others have probably summoned their Servants already and we don't want to be vunerable and eliminated before the War actually begins." Dante said. He knew he wasn't the strongest magically nor physically but he could certainly put a damper on any person's plan to eliminate him so long as he wasn't alone. He looked at the Church once more before hoping on a motorcycle he had rented and riding for the Church to meet the Supervisors.

Berserker
Abandoned Warehouse, Uptown

The time for Battle had come. He had been summoned once more to the world of Humans as a Servant.

His body was pulled from the Throne to the world known as Earth once again, he could no longer remember its name as he knew it back when he was on it. His life had come to an end on it long ago and so he was passed to the Throne where he waited and waited and waited till he was called on.

Berserker's summoning was far from pretty. His soul was pulled across the Realms to his master. The summoning circle was briefly empty until it started to fill with a black smoke, sort of like thunder clouds. His arrival was quick as, when he arrived, an eruption of explosive thunder shook the circle he was in. The Clouds and Thunder coalesced around his being before fading away from his sheer prescence.

What remained was a giant of a man. Nay, a giant of a God. His eyes adjusted to the realm known as Earth as he looked about what was an empty room. Berserker felt that his Master was near. His eyes shifted down as he looked about a young girl standing before him. The giant said nothing but grunted at the girl as he lifted his massive weapon, Mjölnir, from the ground and settled it on his shoulder. Berserker couldn't quite remember what his wish was for the Grail for he had forgotten it long ago. His goal now was the protection of the Master who had summoned him.
