@RaeoftheLight since we were encouraged to take our own jobs I can't imagine why there would be.
It only makes sense for a large quest or plot line.

Speaking of, if anyone wants in on this monster hunt let me know. ;)

Moeasha shrugged, she was fine letting Azerus kill the monster, if that meant she got the money. Moeasha quickly finished up her meal, left her tip on the bar top, and headed to refill her water skein, then she stood outside the guild hall. She knew she was early, but Azerus did say he didn't want her to be tardy, so Moeasha figured she would play it safe. Everything she owned was on her person, anyway.

Rae thought about what Jim said as she followed him. "I think maybe we will be okay. I mean, our powers come from the same source, I don't think yours would harm my ability to fight."

The noise made Rae walk a bit quicker. The situation was really setting her nerves on edge, and she hoped it would be over soon. "Good goal, but um....plan? I guess shoot our way through and find out what is happening on the other side of the rifts?"

Moeasha watched as her mission went up in smoke, frowning.

"Hey!" she said indignantly, but then paused to examine the mission Azerus had placed down. She had heard the rumors others of the guild often whispered about Azerus, but she had yet to personally converse with him. The mission was a hefty sum more than her last one, and Moeasha was still going to trust that her horoscope was correct! Smiling, Moeasha nodded.

"Thank you! This job is perfect for me. But I will split money with you, yes?" Just then Moeasha's drink and food were placed down and she thanked the bartender and dug in, enjoying the warm soup and refreshing strawberry lemonade.

I never know how it will hit. It used to be pretty mild but the last four years it has become insane. I hope this year won't be too bad, but I doubt it with how I already am starting to feel.

Kae began walking through the woods again, ready to move on. "I don't need your pity Jax. And what could you do? Are you a doctor? Even if you threatened someone into helping, I wouldn't be able to afford it, and they would probably not truly try to help."

She kept her daggers out and ready, in case any more bandits appeared. She was hoping the leader of the last group would jump out just so she could take her frustration out on someone. "I'm a Kelpie, no matter whether I have human blood or not. My skin has a greenish tint, my neck can grow gills and my limbs can grow webbing. My hair is sleek and black and never out of place. I'm not human. I just look it Ninety percent of the time. No one wants to help a kelpie."

I'm glad! Being bedridden is never fun! My allergies are beginning to kick in with all the pollen in the air, so I'm sure in a few days all I will be wanting to do is to stay locked up under covers haha

Kae thanked Jax for his help. She made sure everything was back in order in her pouch, then looked at her friend. As she grabbed her daggers and used a leaf to quickly clean the blood from them, she frowned.

"There's a reward. A big one. Plus, who ever brings the thing back will be important to the city. Maybe important enough that doctors won't refuse to help them. My father is sick, Jax, but because he 'laid with a monster' no one will give us aid!" Kae's voice rose as she spoke, and she slammed a dagger into the bark of a nearby tree in frustration. "I'm below them. Everyone looks down on me, and my father. Maybe if I bring back this stupid gem it will change, I can show them up."

Her shoulders sagged, and all her anger rushed out. "I can't even help him. That water my mother gave me? Only heals Kelpies. I tried it."
