Alright, I edited it now! I don't think you refreshed the page to receive the post so that might be why you didn't see it.
Jennifer doesn't really pay attention to small details like that, and Lucidian is kinda just... sulking on the bench now.

Lucidian winced slightly when the boy said that not many people would miss him, rolling over onto his side towards the wall. He wasn't wrong at all. Jennifer was the only person he knew that would truly care about him at this point, but to other people they look like they hate each other to the bone. Jennifer didn't want to explain why she broke his ribs either. She wasn't even the one that officially did it. If she tried to say that some crazy, almost literally frothing-at-the-mouth beast controlled her to attack Lucas, then they'd both be dead. It's not like that would do much to those beasts that were attached to her body. They'd just tear humanity both physically and mentally faster than Lucidian could get people to hate him. And what happened recently already showed how fast that could happen.

Jennifer's eyes watched the boy's movements as he went over the car. She was waiting right next to it when she remembered that he stepped out of it. She winced slightly as he touched her face and moved her head around, looking uncomfortable while gritting her teeth. "Y-y'know, you're the only person that would actually bother standing up to Luc- Lucas like that. He's the only one that has permission to touch me at all without needing consent," she grumbled.

She focused more on his question now that he asked, sighing while making sure not to move her face too much. "Yeah, we're pretty close actually. Maybe a little too close but y'know. I didn't mean to break his ribs on purpose when I first met him by the way. I just got- I guess you could say startled? He's usually a gigantic, cuddly teddy bear with me and doesn't mean to hurt me like this. We've had times worse than just this though."

If you don't know what's going on, go ahead and read or at least skim through the IC posts. I can't exactly give a summary because that might be a bit difficult for me to keep it at a level you can reply to without putting too much. XD

Nah, don't worry about having "too much" to write. It gives more stuff that people can reply to, I just don't want people going to like... 3k characters in one post (without the coding).
Lucidian isn't that bad as long as you don't do something to Jennifer. After all, I did note down that he'll get in the way of people trying to interact with her. For all he cares you can torture him and he'll only escape to find Jen to see if she's okay.

Don't worry, you'll figure something out! There's a lot going on plus you can just... creepily stalk people around the school or talk with random students until you get something worked up.

Both of them start to smirk at the stance and threats the boy formed, Lucidian's expression more clear due to the side of Jen's mouth simply turning up, his going into full teeth showing. "Enjoy hurting girls? Oh boy. You have a lot to learn about us before you think I'm the abusive one between us," he tells him in a snotty tone on purpose. That made the girl mad easily, raising a leg and bashing it at one of his knees. He clenched his teeth as a loud mix of a pop and cracking sound came from it, like it was either broken inwards by much more force than the girl looks like she could have, or it simply managed to pop his knee. It caused him to drop the backpack and lurch forwards, his knee at least fine enough to bend again as he held it while still smiling. "I sacrificed myself to prove my point," Luke groaned as he buried his face into his knee. Of course he'd plan to anger her just to give an example, both of them knowing Lucas was the one that would more likely hesitate before hurting people. Plus the girl just had more power when getting angry and does much more than a cut.

Jennifer didn't seem amused one bit. Her expression darkened as she bent down on one knee to grab her backpack while leaning into Lucidian's ear. "Look, I don't want to get a bad reputation before school even started. That's your job and fighting in public isn't part of either our lists. If you do anything major then they might figure it out," she whispered in a very low volume into his ear so nobody could hear it. He shivered after she pulled away like he was actually afraid of her, or maybe just something else that she mentioned. Possibly both. Nobody could tell with those two.

She stood upright and used her clean arm to put the backpack onto her shoulder, turning back to the older looking boy with a more relaxed body. "Y'know, he's not wrong. When I first met him I broke one of his ribs so..." Jennifer admit and made an awkward chuckle while rubbing the back of her neck with her clean hand. "Lets just quickly go before he yells at us that he was right." Lucidian was about to raise his hand to do just as she said but Jen was already speed walking out of the courtyard to the parking lot.

After a few moments of Luke keeping his arm up he realized the girl already ran off, turning that hand into a fist then suddenly pointed to the boy. "In all seriousness here, if you do anything to her even I wouldn't do, I'm tearing you apart," he growled as his tone was completely different compared to his more childish voice. Soon he got up easily onto his feet - like he was never hurt at all - but slowly walked back to the bench and plopped down onto his stomach.

She chuckled when she overheard him hating her and teased, "Yeah, I love you too," while trying best to hold back her roaring laughter, snickering during her reply. "You deserved it 'cause... you did?" Juliet joked, not wanting to say her actual thoughts on why. After all, she only did it because she wanted to and thought it was fun to mess with him - and one other reason she tried to push to the back of her mind. She didn't want this to get in the way of escaping that computer world, maybe discussing it when they're out, so Juliet kept the details to a minimum. "C'mon Sugarcake, lets hurry up before something worse than a kiss comes up," she casually told him while giving him a new nickname, lightly pulling him to his feet.

She sighed while putting her head down as the person walked over, offering to patch her cut up after that quick but violent beat up. Lucidian immediately bolted upright with a shaky groan and snatched Jennifer out of his reach. A weak snarl was on his face, ironically the person that threw her around was the same one protecting her... She sighed then whispered into his ear, "Just let it go, alright? You can heal me later." He hesitated for a moment before laying back on the ground so the girl could stand, spreading her feet a little to stay balanced. Luke would stay on the ground, rubbing around his face like an ashamed puppy. "I think I'd rather go with you. Take the time to talk with people at least," she finally told the older looking boy.

"Touch her other than that cut and I will rip your hand off, got it?" Lucidian would growl from the ground. It was clear that they had something like a brother-sister type of relationship: hating each other in some ways but looking out for each other. Jen would only shake her head at him in disappointment then look up, flicking the blood off the back of her hand then quickly putting it back under the cut. It wasn't deep enough to do anything major but how wide it was definitely was making it a problem. "Might as well take your bag as well just in case," the boy grumbled from the ground. Her backpack was already balancing on his bent knees like it just suddenly appeared there. The bench was just a little out of his reach as well...
